I follow you on Instagram and I also prefer the raw TikTok style reels than the heavily edited ones. Because I usually swipe away when I see the video has too many edits. But this is my personal preference and might be different for other followers of yours. On UA-cam, I prefer the heavily edited style because it keeps me engaged visually And audio.
I resonate with so much of what you say! It's also nice just to have those photos/videos of our personal lives to look back on, so looking at it like that might help us take more? I definitely want to do more video content next year, a mix of of the cuff and more strategic. Love your videos btw, so glad I discovered you this year! x

So helpful having you share this Jade. I have found sharing on Instagram disappointing for me whenever I post a photo/reel as the views are always so low even though its fairly regular/(daily in my Instagram stories). The algorithm doesn’t seem to like me on Instagram compared to my UA-cam channel. Really wishing it performed better for me.🤞🏻
As a fellow dog mom, i would suggest using the bench time to sit and watch the world go by with your sweet fur baby, because 1. You will never regret it, trust me. And 2. She's here for very little part of our lives, and dogs love their walks and their sit and watch time, especially if they share it with you, so that might be the best part of her day, and being on your phone replying to comments can wait 🥺

So in all, I want to be a content creator based on my journey to freedom along with a podcast and things. I just need some insight. I have been watching your videos as well. I have to say they are very helpful.
Live - why don’t you use lives as an opportunity to connect about your general life to inject that personal content? Would make it feel a bit exclusive for those that can get on the live- like a cuppa and chat vibe.
@ Idk maybe it’s just not for you or you don’t want to make any money aside from your 9-5 but whatever it may be then you should ask yourself why you’re even watching this video commenting in the first place if you know what her content is solely based on if you’re not trying to learn what she’s teaching.

I agree! Instagram is for bougie creators. UA-cam can be heavily edited but Tik Tok is raw and honest.
