Kurt Angle was for me the best pro wrestler I had ever seen. When you consider his skills on the mic, he is the complete package, or total package if you will.
Definitely. Don't care what anyone says but he is indeed the greatest pro wrestler ever. He has that aura, in ring skills, promos, charisma, comedic timing and a gold medal to add to it with a broken FREAKING neck.
I became so sad when he said "I am barely making it, I am really struggling man". and thats not about money, its about the most precious thing on earth... HEALTH. Kurt, please get well soon. you are a freaking legend!
Angle is a genuine hero to me. Dude performed at the highest level wrestling with a broken neck. He kicked a huge painkiller addiction. And is suck a good heated person from what i can tell.
I always wanted to see Kurt and Curt (Angle and Hennig) to become a tag team together and become THE PERFECT ANGLE! I can't believe that it never happened.
Kurt Angle is genuinely one of the greatest wrestlers of all time, both in Amateur and Pro Wrestling. A match between him and Bret Hart would have been legendary. At least he had a dark match with Owen Hart, though. (wish there was video of that... 😔)
Omg I knew alot about Kurt but never about the night before the SD IronMan Match. Wow. I watched that match when I was 13 on UPN which was basically on "bunny ears" as we lived in the deep mountains where there was no cable. That match is still one of the best matches let alone not even being on a PPV. What a gladiator!
The pill thing about getting off them, the hollow feeling, all of it is so true, i went through it all too. And the worst thing about it is you still crave and think about it after and still feel an emptiness without it. Even after months of being off it. So one thing Kurt failed to mention: There IS a wrestling mat over the wood but it doesn't do anything to soften those bumps. Also, Brock broke Hardcore Holly's neck by botching a powerbomb and almost broke A-Train's neck on a botched F5. Young Brock was a bit unsafe
An Olympic Gold Medalist wrestler, who translated extremely well in pro wrestling. Dude just had unlimited talent and over the top charisma. He is definitely top 5, at least of this millennium.

@rickwoolnough8508 1. Amateur and pro wrestling are two completely different animals. He is a gold medalist, and beat Brock in an actual wrestling match. 2. Brock barely made the practice squad before being cut. And the NFL *attempt* was after he left WWE the first time. 3. All wrestlers are actors and Brock had to be carried by Heyman for 20 years because he had the charisma of a stick and couldn't talk. Kurt was comedy gold. He didn't need anyone to talk for him. That being said, never heard of Brock acting outside of the ring. Not glazing but my man you don't fully grasp what you're talking about.

Cuz your fighting yourself. So if he is a Olympic gold winner he basically has to beat a person with that kind of drive. Unfortunately he is the under dog in that battle.
