What a great way to start the series reboot. As mentioned, I have never seen the OG show, but I plan to real soon haha, so all of this is completely new plot-wise for me. Loving the action, the CGI visuals, the dub voices, and the writing/pacing so far. It's gonna be a solid ride!

The original TRIGUN is nothing like the 2023 reboot TRIGUN STAMPEDE. The original 1998 anime barely adapted the story from its source material after a certain point as the manga wasn't finished. We don't get much information until the very end but it's still enjoyable nevertheless. Trigun Stampede is like a modern re-imagined version of Trigun which doesn't necessarily follow the manga or the 1998 anime. Studio Orange changed the sequence of events, changed the origin story of many characters and of course, how can we forget the new character designs. The OG anime was goofy but the reboot took a more serious approach and Vash's character seems more sincere. I personally love it.
Yea thats the gist I've been getting so far. I think the new one is amazing. Really interested to watch the og and see how they compare/differ in my own interest
Similar to you, I watched this first and then I moved on to the old one! Excited to see someone else getting into this series, I’m absolutely obsessed

Idk how to feel about watching it DUB though... I usually enjoy original language. But I want some reactions, so here I am. And well, I guess is a way to judge the Dub 😂
My personal Story with Trigun is short, but I love it. I watched Stamped literally just some weeks ago. Fell in Love and went stright to the 98' version and some days ago I finished the Manga.
I really liked it!
If I have to put in order how much I like the Three Products it would be "Manga>>Stamped>>The '98 one"
Not sure what exactly is it, but 98 Vash and the Anime didn't click the same way for me as the Manga and Stamped Vash did.
In escence Stamped Vash is more like Manga Vash but more Naive and less serious.
Manga Vash for me, is like: "Mad Respect. I love this pure soul individual that fights for his Ideals with such determination 🫡🥺💕"
And Stamped Vash is like: "AH! He Baby! I must Protect! 😭🤧💕"
I feel like S2 Vash is going to be more like his Manga version, and I'm looking for that!
Story wise... Well, I like the Manga Narrative better, but Stamped is an interesting Re-Inagination. There are many changes, so idk what are they planing for S2. So I'm just expectant 😌

That's about the general feedback I've been seeing about 98, stampede and the manga. You and I are on the same page haha. Started stampede, then doing 98 soon. Then prob the manga. Yea im excited for season 2 too!
