I do not have a standing desk but I think it would be useful. They have some at my office that sit on top of the regular desk and you lift it manually like a flexing tray table. There is really only enough room to hold the keyboard, maus and monitor and it costs $99. Also I think it has preset heights so if it is just a wee bit to high or low, it's just too bad for you. I think it might be cool to save up for the one you suggest since it would incorporate the Whole desk and more than one monitor and looks like it has a LOT of space.
What are your thoughts on standing desks? Do you use one at home or at work?

Great review, very helpful, how is the usable workspace for reading, note-taking, and completing homework with a computer setup...?
Even with my tripple monitors setup, I still find plenty of space for writing/reading and even space for my laptop.
