@@Shortcat81 Nerg is a lot easier than Jho imo, just remember to sheath & superman dive when he flies up to perform his dive bomb attack. There's no reason you need to farm Jho to take out Nerg.

I used an IG on my first Nerg too, and mine was even less well equipped than your Destroyer Bo (I was using aerial rod I think?). Nerg's movement is pretty easy to read, and dive bomb aside, he doesn't have stupid hitboxes like Jho

The worse thing is devil jho eats everything so if you do cut its tail off you have to be quick, use a dung bomb, or wait til the end to cut tail off but also if you do it right you can get it to eat poison/tainted meats he also forgot to mention the turf battles during turf battles if the monsters is small enough devil jho will pick them up and lash them around this will be a good time to run off sharpen weapons, heal, and gather drops and the giant pounce he does goes into a extra attack were he picks you up bites n then throws you and one last tip to save stamina during mounting right before any monster does a big lung or anything you need to brace for just simple move right as the move is happening for instance if the devil jho goes to hit you off its face simply move to it's back then back to the face

using charge blade against this abomination is tough..the hardest part for me is to charge my blade constantly, and the only thing that the sword can reach is his 2 skinny little legs..
Switch axe main. I only have two moves, I'm still new to mh so I could be wrong, and even then it'll only hit him closer to the tip of his tail Fyi: the two attacks I'm talking about are the 2nd and 3rd in the triangle chain in axe mode. Though it is possible to skip the first and go into the 2nd and 3rd immediately
I played the game regularly till the Nergigante assignment (I'm HR 13) and put the game down for quite awhile. I recently picked it back up again and I cant seem to enter a zone or hunt a single monster with out this monster showing up. It's really frustrating like it's stalking me and is tracking my phones gps and it's ruining my game sessions.
@@giantcobra1810 learned this from the bazelguese, he told me to use dung pods on him. Turns out hes not that hard to kill, just gotta wait out his attacks cause most of them come from the front. Hopefully i find the same with pickle

I did a quest last night where i had to kill a Dodogama, that's easy enough but when he was almost dead, I had a Lavasioth bodyslam me like he came straight out of the WWE, and before I had manage to even stand up again, Devilpickle hauled ass into the fight and did his double-scream. I felt genuine terror.
I can't say I've run all the variations extensively, but I'd at least also endorse Jho's Heavy Bowgun, I remember using that for at least two or three different builds I ran. But for sure, his Hunting Horn was a fantastic weapon, and my main for a long time along with the Paralysis Vespoid Horn or whatever it was called.
hopefully this applies to the tempered version. i spent nearly 40 min with switch axe motor chopper only to get pickled. to say the least i felt videogame depressed.

Played Monster Hunter since MH2G on PSP when hotboxes were gigantic, then recently picked up MH World and thought it was a breeze, right up until I came up against Angry Pickle...
I know for a fact you can find this monster or it's tracks right outside the first camp in the little water area in the wildspire wastelands. That is where I first found it, and died/carted to about 22 times

You can hunt the Deviljho with HR 13, because you unlock him with that Rang his special quest. It doesn't matter how high your rang in this way, it's only importent how good your armor, weapon, and equip and juwels are, because they are the a and o in this case. And how good you are with that build, that you have and techniques are. When you played a bit longer and have your perfect build and techniques, then you can hunt him down in a good time. I think you was a lucky boy, I killed him later, because I doesn't had any interests in killing him, till he was annoying me very hard in every second quest. My first try was 40 minutes around, because I had to study that lil bastard pickle, I used an dumb weapon, but later I took him down around 20 minutes, that was ok for me. He isn't so hard, but he is very annoying, because he interrups hunts against other monsters like the Bazelgeuse and like to take my monsters away like the Dodogama and doesn't spit him out and goes away with MY monster. Or he always comes to me, when I killed or caught an monster and wants to eat it, stupid pickle. That was my experience.

this boss just pisses me off. he has no punishable timings whatsoever. He does one attack after another. Then there's that body slam that covers the whole map. so stupid. I beat him once in the story mode but in "investigations" it's just stupid and makes me alt f4 everytime.
watch out for that 3-hit combo, ESPECIALLY that one: because after 3-hit combo it can follow-up with a bulldozer move, or a 2-hit combo then bulldozed (worse? 4-hit or 5 - that pickle boi is sure unpredictable). i dodge all 3 hit swipe and yet got caught by its bulldozer (or jaw-dozer?) move, took out 3/4 of my health. maybe it doesn't pull up that combo if missed, but guaranteed that move if hit.
Tbh Nergigante is a lot easier to kill than Deviljho. Deviljho is a pain in the ass. If u dont know how to dodge those attacks ur HP will go down in seconds.
The first time I fought him. I was using a hammer. Probably the worst weapon you can use against him. I was teamed up with a JP player and I couldn't hit him. I got carted twice and the JP player left the match. It felt bad man.
It took me 47 minutes to kill him for the first time. It was horrendous, I was using Kirin insect glaive and even then his body sometimes was to high for me to land significant hits
i tried him when i turned hr13. the first time i went in, i spent almost the whole 50 minutes fighting him. he was raging super hard the whole time. i feel i didnt even put a dent in him. was using hammer. been gathering gear and mats to fight him again better equipped. not progressing with story either. i wanna get him at 13. i would love to see a vid of someone doing that with any weapon.. or hear about someones setup/strat when they did it at 13.
Did this just before I fought Nergigante. Keep in mind I farmed heavily to prepare for Nergigante so I had the full Diablos alpha armor (except for the helmet, that was the Rathian helmet since it gave health boost LV 2.), Diablos tyrannis (had yet to get the Kadachi CB), and a level 2 attack charm. Honestly I just had to bide my time and had to choose my attacks very carefully .My advice is to keep on hitting and capture him instead of killing him, unless you want the satisfaction of the killing blow. Bring mega potions and materials to make them ( set the combination to make them and consume them on your scroll wheel), bring flash bombs and flash bugs to make them( again set the equip and combine to your scroll wheel), make sure you have the attack and defense charms you buy from the merchant, and the defense and attack talons as well.( make those from Beetljuice talons and the charms respectively). I did this all while trying to fend off Beetlejuice and it wasn’t a good time, so Make sure to bring max dung bombs. Happy hunting and good luck. Btw the Diablos Armor grants attack boost the duller your weapon becomes, powers up non-elemental weapons, and grants tremor resistance so that stomp won’t be a problem.

Bro the freaking leshen is easier than devilijho for me. I've literally beat the leshen 5 or 6 times without dying once. I've only beaten devilijho one time and it was lucky as hell. He is a beast. The only thing harder than devilijho for me is Nergigante and Xeno jjiva or however you spell it.
All three of the best I know we're done for Joey's on one of the map on the Ancient Forest can you leave Nair one of your camps in the desert he also leaves near one of your calves that's the first can't you having another and another coral reef I think he leaves in this like area where you go I forgot I forgot what it was called but I know where three places Heelys on the rotten Vale and the Crystal place I don't know where he leaves there

The first time I found him was in the elders recess, he grabbed a dodogamma and 1 shotted me, after that I made sure to stay away from that pickle

Heads up if you use a sword and shield or the charged blade you can block it or use a dragon manyle to lesson the effects

Deviljho is actually really easy, just stay at a distance when he’s red and attack when you have a window and use the environment

I fucking hated this monster. The only one I struggled with besides Nergigante, but way worse.
All three of the best I know we're done for Joey's on one of the map on the Ancient Forest can you leave Nair one of your camps in the desert he also leaves near one of your calves that's the first can't you having another and another coral reef I think he leaves in this like area where you go I forgot I forgot what it was called but I know where three places Heelys on the rotten Vale and the Crystal place I don't know where he leaves there
