Wonder - some tutorials especially with wide fabric, use the inverted V cut out and some use a J cut for the crotch. Is the J used with narrower pant legs?

I love fairies too and like you hate it when the wings break off. I stopped getting fragile statues for that reason,though I"ve seen a few at Dollar Tree, like my fairy with the unicorn, that I couldn't resist, but luckily her wings have been sturdy.
There are these companies that make...not fragile fairies and such, they can be toys, but they're so beautiful and richly detailed they can also be statues that won't break. And none of them too expensive. Check out fantasy or fairies under Safari or Papo. They're in stores like Target sometimes but online at their own site as well as Wal Mart or Amazon.
I've reviewed a few under I think dark fairy figures or something and some nice fairy jewelry too under my latest Realmetal jewelry haul. Yep a little fairy obsessed. LOL.
