@@AuntJoey bad advise ... you SHould slam thing but not trash gear and only base with already good roll ... you can make a already 10ex item to few div with 2 ex so of course you should do it
At least at the moment, it feels safe to have your savings in chaos too. But yeah, I've divested from exalts and just keep a small number for my own use.
This is the downside of no scour orbs specifically not existing because not being able to reuse a base to use more exalted orbs really makes exalted orbs super super useless in spam crafting which doesn’t exist.
@@zombislayer42 downside to scours existing is that all items on the ground get devalued by them. Stellar Amulet bases are 100c+ and high level wands 20+ - add scours and those bases are just worth a scour
@@samuelhipperson8503 most likely same effect, but less than scours because at some point you regal and alterations stop working, removing the base from the pool regardless of failure or success.
being unable to reroll item bases is bottlenecking the utilization of certain currencies. mostly the low tier currencies but also Exalted orbs to some extent. this is bad for players entering into the economy as it essentially removes the bottom rung of the ladder. given the logistics this seems inevitable without something along the lines of adding normal/white bases to the exchange.
The bottom rung is the bases themselves, but it's very counter intuitive to a new player that a grey item would have more value than a bad/mid rare item
I know that GGG likes the current system because drops matter more but I would love if we reintroduced scouring orbs and more reroll currencies. Helps with economy, fixes a lot of problem with crfting, makes chance bases actually usable
@Az0rau you also need to need to be farming certain areas to get good bases and new players either don't have the knowledge of th diffrent bases, how to get them, and which are the most valuable. And then on top of that your build has to actually be able to handle those higher lvl areas that drop the good bases
but still divine was holding for 1.5 months. If it was poe1, divine would be 150+ at the second week. It only shows how many people played the game and only now they are leaving.
The real question is how crafting might change if exalts becomes "gold augmentation orb" eventually. I long predicted that community in general sleeps on chaos orbs, there are insanely good strategies of just buying 5-20 ex rares from the market that have like 3 very good affixes + 3 very bad ones and then just (chaos_orb ? sell : dump). There also are some funny approaches I tinkered in simulation, that can give you benefits from "excluding" magic item from the chain. For example, there are extremely lucrative combinations of base + affix, like dualstring bow + 2 additional arrows. So valuable in fact that you can have a garbage rare item with one such mod be priced 1-2 divines just for the probability of chaosorbing from one affix forward and it will cost less that creating that item from normal or magic bases. So now, now when exalts might as well be thrown out of the window, we could potentially achieve an actual healthier state of crafting where exalts would be thrown onto random bases. Back in 100ex=1div days it was crazy to just ex-spam every dualstring bow you see, but now... All complex crafting chains that involved buying a garbage rare from the market that is primed in some way towards transforming from larva to butterfly now need to re-tinker their tables, because for some bases there might be a path that enables you to just get garbage from the floor and ex-spam.
I find it shocking that economy rigging from content creators and RMT is not talked about at all. Claiming an item is worth 100 div when mathematically it was impossible for anyone but a whale to have that kind of currency has framed values to absurd levels. This in combination with everything you said has cracked the economy.
Watch Fubgun's play - he's dropping multiple raw divine orbs every hour, using strategies that he documents thoroughly and other players copy. Every single player who copies his approach is dropping 4+ divines in total wealth per hour. As for RMT cheaters - they are redistributing wealth, not creating it. But hey - if you sincerely think I'm rigging the economy here - go and cash out all your divines into exalts now during the "sirgog boom". Let us know how it goes.
Im glad you enjoyed my item filter customisation, the only reason i havent made it public is because im unsure on the legality of sharing the clips i have and the filter is just an unedited neversink with custom sounds.
i exchanged my one and only divine drop for a 133 ex and now i need to buy items in divines because i keep on dying in maps. The divines now is almost double than before i don’t have the time to keep on grinding. maybe i should just rest.
you shouldnt be buying things for divine in the first place, so many people don't know how to list so if they think an item is somewhat good they default to divine, you should be haggling the prices, your're literally scamming yourself.
This also happened to me, i want to buy dream fragment but i am skeptical and i think to myself that the price will drop. The next day price went up from 70d to 95d. I panic buy but that is a great decision because price is around 110-120d last time i check. If i were to save that money, i was going to lose out on an upgrade and a decent investment or a hedge against the inflation. Just remember everyday, your exalted get worthless and worthless.
you farm divine not exalt. farm whatever it is that you could change with divine, like fragments or anything else. doing trials also give back quite a lot of exalt in exchange for 1 exalt trial cost if you buy it from someone.
The economy will never make sense until crafting makes sense. In the meantime, enjoy spending 300 exalts slamming gear until you get something marginally useful.
@@SocialDownclimber I think there's a meaningful difference between having a single piece of gear which you can spend your fusings on, and having to pick up a new item every 3 exalts you use on getting a bad piece of gear.
You need to do maps and just wait for higher tier gears to drop and if you are lucky it will be a good piece that you can slam for rest of the mods. You slam maps, that is the only sink.
@@tinkan6338 Yep, with one of those, drops don't matter and items on the ground are worthless. That is explicitly the thing the devs wanted to change in PoE2.

If it was an actual "dupe" is up for debate but it's confirmed by just looking at the market data that there was a group that had discovered a method to produce mirrors at a rate far higher than the normal drop chance and this group was flooding them market with these mirrors. My friend group watched in real time as more and more sell orders were added undercutting previous listings, to the point that there were over 400 sell orders listed before GGG fixed/changed the "dupe". For reference there' was between 40-50 listings before they started the dupe.
I'll admit I never checked but is it normal for 4million divines to be listed and updated every day to a new price? Obviously there's bots, but was the number always that high before this exploit?
not enough to brick the market though you gotta take into account 3.5 million players 400 mirrors is 0.011% spread across the economy nowhere near enough to destroy the market same with the temporalis bug only a few hundred to a thousand were made with this method from what I'm aware of and the idea still applies.
@@AKKillgar907 With the insanely low drop chance of mirrors and what their value was 400+ mirrors just appearing in the market is far more than enough to completely crumple currency values. The only thing in poe2's economy giving value to the currency is it's rarity to obtain the rarest currency being the mirror so if the mirrors value plummets the economy as a whole plummets. Also the mirror sellers are absorbing divs at an astronomical rate creating div shortages.
@@RobRuckus65 but the market hasnt plummeted and if anything things are becoming more expensive and rare not easier to obtain like your analogy leans towards. if that were true mirrors would drop in price in divs so on so forth but that's not the case only exalts are affected.
I slam all my maps with exalted orbs, then apply distilled paranoia for more rare mobs. The result is 15-30 or more exalted drop per map with breaches.
@@down-the-rabbit-hole I had the same problem until I started juicing only quantity of items on my tablets and waystones. 80% quantity gets you much more than even 500% rarity does. Just started juicing breach maps with quantity yesterday and got 6 divines In a single day. Also put delirium on your waystones it really helps farm more currency.
If you take into acount selling the simulacrum shards sure but raw exalt drops IM not seeing 15-30 more. Good juiced map with rarity and quant 4+ towers overlapping with quant, 100%+ mf on gear, atlas passives all for desnity item drop quant/rarity and rare mob, 4+ breach map and the most I've seen is 15 exalts drop. Id say its more of a 100-200% increase in just raw exalted orb drops.
As a new POE player I kinda gave up buying high end gear things that cost exalts now cost divines a bow I currently have got it for 1 divine is now priced at 15+ I'm just going to level my alts and taking a big break after I get each class to 80 I barely get divines sitting at 200+ rarity find and I'm not going to have a second job mindlessly grinding maps.
Cool and well thought out video as always. One thing I don't I agree with is 6 portals on bosses. The people buying most of the keys will have near 100% chance to kill them, so no. of portals is not a factor. The spread will always be pretty small. They all tend towards a bit less than highest drop price * highest drop chance.
The weird thing is, I get few divines here and there but the ratio to exalts should be like 1 to 100 in terms of drops, not 1 to 250. I do not get 250 exalts per divine. Basically the usage demand for exalts is dropping, that is what it implies. Once people have the gear up the demand for exalted orb usage just vanishes.
@@Arathreas i could easily get 250 exalts before i get divine drop. In fact, divine drop is probably even lower then that so i expect divine value to rise further
I think it's because of how worthless Exalts have become for trading. You can't buy anything good for less than 50-100 exalts. No1 is really bothering anymore with exalts and they are just getting spent for items like scrolls of wisdom. People just RMT for Divines directly cause why bother trading 5 full inventories of Exalts for a single item?
@@КайратБаймурзин-в4к my brother, you do not get 250 exalts per divine. Maybe you get so many exalts in form of breach splinters or through trading but not in raw drops.

Games like PoE2 is the Exercise/Job equivalent of Corn. It fries the dopamine receptors of young men with no hope to succeed in real life such that they can no longer enjoy the real thing (either being intimate with a real woman or actually trading money in the stock market or actually getting skilled and fit in a sport). But you get called a boomer for pointing this out 😅
Is it? If you think about it as another form of 'gameplay', it makes perfect sense to me. I imagine getting away with this kind of scam feels pretty good.
farming maps isn't fun, it is extremely unrewarding. And devs are to blame for this. It happened to any other popular online game, one of which is WOW. Do you know the difference between completing raids and completing heroic dungeons in wow? In one you get geared with 100% certainty and it takes about 1/5 of the time it takes to raid. I played wow about a year ago for 1.5 months and raided like 3 times a month. I haven't got a thing from raids, like total. But I have fully geared my character to... I think it was 515, I don't really remember, I was 20 or 30 ilvls from lvl cap. The difference between top ilvl and my ilvl was basically so low it wasn't worth it. Now what do we have in path of exile 1/2? You can play for half a year, each day consistenly for 12h/d and you WILL NOT see a mirror of kalandra drop. Some dude who just logged into the game might kill 100 monsters in act 1, drop a mirror, not pick it up and just leave because the game is broken. Yes, it is the rewarding experience I am talking about. You play for half a year and get locked out of most drops and have to basically buy everything and get it with hard work. Some guy just drops it and he never has to actually play like the rest of the people until the end of the season. Yes, it is fun....
For some it’s fun to collect things in games but that’s because they’ve forgotten how to actually play. Some are born after the last rain and know just to collect characters in, for example, gatcha games, ohers are adults who have literally forgotten how to play games. Also... anyone can find an explanation for anything at any time, but some things make more sense than others.
Yes with the 0.1.1 patch the supply of exalts shot up and therefore their value went down, but it only really went crazy with the value drop of exalts once the mirror dupe happened, if it hadnt we'd still be at somewhere between 150-170 ex per div.
It seemed to happen right when the D4 season started so I figured it was a bunch of people converting all their wealth to divines for the week or so they would be gone playing that but with it still going up it's clearly more than that.
Hey @sirgog. I am new to POE and accidentally ID'd a timeless jewel drop in POE2. How do I go about pricing it? There are none of the same seed on the market.
As a casual player, I kind of like this. Exalt orbs are really all I want to just play casually, and all you have to so is fine 1 divine orb and you have exalts for days. I've found about 4 divines total, and I'm having a blast just slamming exalts.
you're a casual so you wont notice the fact that divines are infinitely more useful than trying to make a bad item slightly less bad. an exalt will never make a crap item the best it can be.
@@Knights_of_the_Nine i agree most of the problem is definitely at the fringes of a lot of gameplay. but if you play just using exalts you will probably never get the right rolls for endgame bossing
Im expected a mention that divine orbs dont have THAT much of a sink, because if you are going to corrupt your belt of ingenuity try to get it to be 20% better than the normal allowed amount, thr vaal REPLACES the divine, since it incluides "divining" if that outcome happens. Imo they should change that. I dont like that you can use the worst stated belt as it is to try to get the best possible one, while kinda halving the only divine orb sink.
They'll likely settle around 750 I think; depends how good the items up for mirror service end up. Wands mirror well, because lucky Vaal Orbs don't do much on wands. Most other items, a 100d item with a good Vaal outcome is better than a mirrored copy of a 12000d item and that puts some limits on mirrors. But caster weapons are an exception.
it was already at 500+ before the mirror dupe When mirror dupe going viral it drop from 500 to 200 and people panic It just mean the mirror price going back to pre mirror dupe. But for sure it will going up again unless if there's another mirror dupe Note: when people panic be ready to take advantage of it.
honestly it doesn't matter for 99.99% of players. Mirroring items in temp economy of temp (basically) league when they will fix anything from skills to trees achieves what exactly? Most people would play "restart" when they release new classes. I personally never wanted to use mirror items (tho could) because I see no reason for it. Most players are also do build to good state and start again with new class or wait for the new additions to the game.
@@divinityai Well I'm debating right now to buy a mirrored quarterstaff for my monk. It is almost all of my currency, but it does over double my damage. The real reason is simply that there are more people using +rarity gear. It's been steadily causing inflation since ut became known it helps with currency drops, it just helps way more with ex drops than div drops
moving closer to the price of augs to div exchange rate, which feels fitting really honestly. 1 ex in poe1 felt way more impactful then in poe2 because of blocking and meta crafts. it's just a gold and slightly rarer aug in poe2
Now that you have mentioned it, almost always exalt my maps, I dont juice them up any futher than distilled ire, i dont run MF, I place tower tablets based on feelings/random. I have separated my exalt drops from my maps va sales and its been going up really fast. I though I was just lucky.
Exalted orbs are worth so little in part because they're so limited in use which keeps the supply moving upward. I can only slam 2-3 exalts per item, but I can slam infinite chaos orbs into an item of the correct ilvl to go for the modifiers I want. This could be helped tremendously if annulment drops become just as common as exalts, or if exalts get some other use that lets you burn through them like you can chaos or divine orbs. It's just supply and demand without enough game mechanics to remove the supply of exalts in comparison to other currencies.
Ye, too little use for exalts while they drop like crazy isn't a good feel. There's nowhere for them to go really. I'd love using more annuls but they just don't drop enough, chaos orbs same thing really, but that wouldn't take any of the exalts out the economy either.
I played 2 characters up to level 80 in the first month of the game, and didn't see a single exalted orb until > level 40. Just started a new character yesterday, and I have already received 5 exalted orbs by level 24.

I mean divine orbs being worth more just makes sense, same with chaos staying the same. You roll chase items with divines to get more returns and more people can do pinnacles now for chases let alone selling entries. Its obvious really not to mention the last patch.
Define juiced? Are you using breach tablets with 4-5 towers all with quantity and rarity of items? While only using your maps with quantity and rarity on your giga juiced maps? Because this is what i do and even with 0% rarity on my gear i get multiple divine drops per day. I aim for roughly 70- 80% quanity of items and 30% of rarity on towers then the rest of the quanity and rarity comes from the maps. Hope this helps.
Do you like the current state of exalts or do you think there should be more exalt sinks? I definitely have an abundance of exalts and very few chaos and divs. I just don't know how to feel about having a 4th currency that I will be stacking 1000s of. (scrolls, augs, transmuts)
@@victrutra why bother, just transmute and Augment than regeal, it then 3x instill and your good. No need to exalt maps. Better off just juicing your maps, and you can do this with cheaper currencys.
This is not happening in HC league, affected by the same patch....it's a matter of demand and supply; Exalted resource amount is currently stupidly large in Standard.
There is an exalt sink, it’s called crafting. The issue is the internet has conditioned the majority of the (brainless) playerbase in to believing crafting is pointless and it’s impossible to craft a good piece, so the hundreds of thousands of players are just trying to buy divines with their exalts so they can use the divines to buy their upgrades instead of crafting for upgrades. Good vid tho, thanks for the upload sirgog
I expect the reverse, I'm not keeping any exalts at the moment. Could see it hitting 500 easily. Really comes down to how many people take exalts off their filter.
We need some fun exalt sinks. Maybe they will add some along the way? Make them more useful. Higher end sinks for end game players and lower end sinks for newbies. Spend em on the hideout cosmetics or a garden or something? Make a ultra rare Moment of Zen type of map pop up that only accepts Ex for new ultra rare sought after rewards! That would get people hording them and bump the price up! :D
Been grinding T15 maps for a while and have never seen a divine orb drop. I got my divines through selling audiences with the king.

That is bizarre. I have 8 of them but i dont use trading so they are completely worthless to me. I find the entire trade system has broken this game. People are playing a trade simulator instead of an ARPG with itemization. To each their own but I cant see this game take off any more than it did in PoE1 with how its oriented. They basically remade the first one with better combat mechanics
I'm looking for advice from some poe 2 players. I want to put together builds that I'm seeing but the late game gear is like literally hundreds of divines. I have been grinding for a week with higher rarity, juiced breach and ritual maps, as well as running item quant + rarity + pack size delerium maps. I literally cannot keep up with the rate of inflation. It's one thing for the value of things to inflate or deflate over the course of a league. It's entirely another thing to have this happen in the span of a few days. I've been chasing a +3 skeletal sniper gem for a week and every time I recheck the price. It's up by 10 more divs. I literally cannot keep up with the rate at which it's rising. I have about 140 divs right now. Is the best thing to just literally sit in the hideout and flip currency at this point or use it for bulk crafting rings and wands to try to profit? Because at this point wtf is even the point of playing the game if the price of the items you're chasing it outpacing your ability to farm the currency to buy them even when doing it optimally?
As a Casual player my only regret is that all my characters are in trade league and not SSF. It's just pointless to compete for items when there are so many players that pilot accounts 24/7 or RMT for chump change just to get ahead. I'm basically playing involuntary SSF at this point.
What happened with mirrors is people at endgame got to the point of finding actual perfect rolled items. People actually started using mirrors. The explosion of gemling lead to a lot of high end players mirroring the perfect triple attribute rings.
it's wild for me to understand that divining unique items for better roll is an actual thing people do to an extend that actually makes it a "proper sink" for divine orbs.
I mean just do the math. Yesterday I bought a jewel with bad rolls for 7d and the good rolls were 15d. I've spent 3d to get the better item. The market is now 3d less but I'm personally 5d richer than I would otherwise be. It was just a 2-3 and 2-4 roll and only the 2-4 was relevant lol.
When the beta started I found like 4 of them before the drop rate got changed and I wasted them all because I didn't know what I was doing. If I only had known...
Stopped playing PoE2 because I fell into a rabbit hole(phone game). Wow, 240+ ex is crazy. When i stopped playing a couple of days ago it was around 190-195. From what I heard there was a patch for a duping glitch and that's why divs shot up in price.
Not really, you just need rarity on gear, for that you need a good build that can support it. That kind a sucks because you are forced to follow a guide to go far.
Might be a factor, but in 200-something hours i haven't seen a single raw divine drop. Juiced as much as i could, ran breaches. Rarity on gear was little, but still plain 0 divines in that time is kind of extreme.
The mirror price drop was due to TFT and CN rmt workshops working together, and it was them spreading the "mirror dupe" bs, they did release fake vids and used scare tactics for people to sell their mirror at low prices, and their mirror stock/profits sky rocketed. And the recent price changes are due to two things, poe2 bot is completed, and both of the largest RMT workshop countries South Korea and China both going into holiday mode for Luna New Year. Where people that has income will need to spend lots of money (there for need to make as much money as possible before holiday) and have plenty of stock for after the holidays, because all the young people will recieve lots of pocket money (red envelopes) so they have lots of money to spend in games. Edit, these were info from kakao groups and wechat groups of workshops. (up to you to take it with a pinch of salt)
I feel the biggest issue is group play loot. It's way too much. When I play solo, I'm lucky to come out with 1-5 ex. When me and my friends do 5-man runs...we're coming out a map with 100 ex each. Barely juiced. We make 2000ex an hr. average. Sometimes more, sometimes less. Now multiply that by the player base...
you play solo and not juice and your group is not barely juiced. If you juice the same group divided by person is actually less drops, but people will never admit they are bad at the game. 99% of people play solo and have good chars, groups doesn't affect them at all.
That doesn't make sense really. There's still something fucky about drop rates and use of the currencies. I haven't played group in endgame yet, but even if it's drop 10x the stuff it would just make you rich, not fuck the exchange rates of orbs
Idk if anyone else can attest to this, but ever since I installed a loot filter on my ps5, and got to tier 15 maps, I haven’t seen a divine orb drop in a few days of playing…. I’m getting especially concerned now with how the market is going that I won’t be able to upgrade my character 😂
I really think it's simple. Crafting with orbs is total junk by the end game where you can actually earn all the orbs. So I'm just accumulating exalts faster than I'm using them. I have found orbs are not very useful for crafting on equipment. Exalt = add an ineffective affix. Chaos = swap between ineffective affixes while occasionally removing one of the valuable ones. The crafting process with orbs has gone my way maybe 5% of the time as far as quantity of orbs consumed. Keep in mind, the basic advice most guide channels give is "don't craft, just stockpile and trade for items." Since crafting sucks, demand for trade items is exacerbated by an oversupply of orbs because players are not confident in crafting. Using Exalts is like using a gateway drug on the path to throwing your Chaos orbs away (because that one time when it actually HIT). So when you start to run out of Chaos orbs to throw away, you stop using your exalts for crafting. That is unless you have a crafting addiction, where you'll use exalts to buy chaos orbs so you can throw ALL your orbs down a drain, chasing that high, only to inevitably brick an otherwise decent base item.
I find divines less the the orbs of annulment. I have like 4 or 5 annulments, and I think I've seen 2 divines drop? My luck in finding currency and useable/sellable gear is absolutely rock bottom terrible.
Something you forgot to consider: As the really end game players get to a point where they aren't going to get a better item, they can only improve by a bit by divining their gear until they get all perfect rolls. Making the divine supply that much smaller than exalt supply.
I doubt it's just the result of exalts dropping a bit more. I think it's just a natural tendency over time in the PoE economy that exalts are not worth bothering much with anymore because of the clunky trading and crafting. Anything that you naturally get enough of by just picking up occasionally on mapping becomes worth much less. Noone is trading to get exalts for their actual use, it's just a currency. Meanwhile the higher value currencies ARE used a ton by the high end players so they drive up demand for those.
A new season in EA is going to be awesome. People have learned so much and probably have all these strategies in their head they cant wait to try. I know i do.
It's getting really high, luckily my currency farm just scales with the inflation, I think the biggest losers out of this inflation are mappers relying on raw drops.
I agree with the exalted orbs falling in value, although I dunno if I see the same logic behind a chaos orb retaining value or increasing in value in PoE2. Chaos orbs feel incredibly niché in the types of items you'd use it on, in a "fuck it" kind of way, where you aren't really expecting anything and in most cases it completely ruins the item. If chaos orbs were still actively used to roll maps like in PoE1, where it actually felt necessary often for many builds to roll their maps, then i'd 100% see the value of chaos orbs retaining, but as it stands, I feel like on a persona level, I find VERY few items that I even think are worthy of a chaos orb and even when I do, its exceedingly rare that anything good happens and I don't just immediately vendor the item afterwards. For that reason, I cannot exactly see it as any different than what people are already doing with exalted, be that exalt spamming on an items with a good base, some rare that dropped with a couple of decent mods, maps etc. I think the reality is just like it was mentioned in the most recent interview, that before, there was also additional sinks for currency AS a currency, like the craftingbench costs, being extremely common part of how people alternatively used their currency. People simply lack sinks for their currency being being a trade commodity in my opinion.
Chaos orbs are being used to slam a great base item over and over until you get some great rolls on it. It can then be used with Omens to refine the item or brick it. This is the only way to actually craft atm.
The amount of exalted orbs im wasting on slamming random stuff in a day is getting out of hand. im spending them like they're worth nothing

This isn't even an ARPG it's basically a stock market simulator.
On sirgog's sound financial advice, I have just put all options into chaos for the remainder of this league.
being unable to reroll item bases is bottlenecking the utilization of certain currencies. mostly the low tier currencies but also Exalted orbs to some extent. this is bad for players entering into the economy as it essentially removes the bottom rung of the ladder. given the logistics this seems inevitable without something along the lines of adding normal/white bases to the exchange.

Exalts are in freefall. I think we'll see exalts in the same territory as vaals in time.
You got my sub! Love this analysis..
Don't say nothing. These dudes just play the game based off of others opinions. They are liberally incapable of thinking
@@curt685 please stop being needlessly negative :)
This is the excellent info we need about this game!!

Arent you gatekeeping fun right now? People have fun in different ways. Not sure why your way is superior to other peoples way.
farming maps isn't fun, it is extremely unrewarding.
D4 I think was a coincidence. The change might actually have happened faster without that game.

Mirrors going from 470 to 545+ divines overnight was a little crazy lol
They'll likely settle around 750 I think; depends how good the items up for mirror service end up. Wands mirror well, because lucky Vaal Orbs don't do much on wands. Most other items, a 100d item with a good Vaal outcome is better than a mirrored copy of a 12000d item and that puts some limits on mirrors.
But caster weapons are an exception.
it was already at 500+ before the mirror dupe
When mirror dupe going viral it drop from 500 to 200 and people panic
It just mean the mirror price going back to pre mirror dupe.
But for sure it will going up again unless if there's another mirror dupe
Note: when people panic be ready to take advantage of it.
honestly it doesn't matter for 99.99% of players. Mirroring items in temp economy of temp (basically) league when they will fix anything from skills to trees achieves what exactly? The LitRPG genre in general is just a fresh of breath air for the stale publishing industry.
The real reason is simply that there are more people using +rarity gear. It's been steadily causing inflation since ut became known it helps with currency drops, it just helps way more with ex drops than div drops
I noticed the mirror prices drop last week. A of a sudden they went from $800 on RMT sites to $200. I assumed some dupe was being done.
moving closer to the price of augs to div exchange rate, which feels fitting really honestly. 1 ex in poe1 felt way more impactful then in poe2 because of blocking and meta crafts. it's just a gold and slightly rarer aug in poe2
But why would this drive down the value of Exalts relative to chaos, surely all currency is dropping at the increased rates from additional monsters?

Im already into the stock market. POE2 is basically inflation at 1000x speed. The good thing is that POE2 announces their economy resets in advance.
It's literally over 300 as of this morning. It's crazy.
As a Casual player my only regret is that all my characters are in trade league and not SSF.
It's just pointless to compete for items when there are so many players that pilot accounts 24/7 or RMT for chump change just to get ahead.
I'm basically playing involuntary SSF at this point.
is the Currency exchange menu built into the game? or an addon?
Built in. Check out the gambling vendors. Once you are far enough in the game they should have a currency exchange option
It's unlocked in act 4. Unfortunately this is done silently (no in game tutorial). I know it well from POE1.

@@wessredd7237 this is what is happening not what the streamer said but game companies use to hide the advantages of group play instead of nerfing it
you play solo and not juice and your group is not barely juiced. If you juice the same group divided by person is actually less drops, but people will never admit they are bad at the game. 99% of people play solo and have good chars, groups doesn't affect them at all.
That doesn't make sense really. There's still something fucky about drop rates and use of the currencies. I haven't played group in endgame yet, but even if it's drop 10x the stuff it would just make you rich, not fuck the exchange rates of orbs
yes and it's making lots of players quit the game.
@ then play in group. Believe or not 99% players don't care about group play, they want to chill
That thumb nail is 🔥
Something you forgot to consider:
As the really end game players get to a point where they aren't going to get a better item, they can only improve by a bit by divining their gear until they get all perfect rolls. Making the divine supply that much smaller than exalt supply.
@@JKal19 I agree as I'm now using divines the same way
I guess the de-evaluation of dxalted orbs is why i start to see more and more trades switching to chaos orbsi guess.
i was literally away from the game for only one to one and a half week and the price has gone over the double
Did you say Orb of Annulment is worth something? I’ve heard several of those drop today. I assumed they were about worthless.
No he said there rarer than a divine orb but mostly useless. Last time I checked 1 annul was worth only 8 exalt
They could spike it always pick em up they good to have on hand
Dude is that the passive skill tree on your shirt? Sure looks like it might be.
ive been spaming ex orbs on all my maps and anything i find and was still able to get temporalis and ingenuity
This is the only way to actually craft atm.
what server, cause people on mine are trading for 48 exalt, according to poe2 trade site.. wtf
I wouldn’t mind this because then on league start I wont feel bad slamming exalts on items instead of trading with them
Nice, now I need a degree in economics to play my fav game
Start playing, get items for few exlalts. Now all items i have are for divs. 5 divs are like gold rn. It just keeps going up.
