- August 2023 was Skeleton Bay's first big swell in 4yrs... with multiple days of waves on tap, I decided to try out my GoPro Max 360 camera to get a different perspective for a few of the sessions. Hope you enjoy this immersive video experience by being able to watch the clips from multiple perspectives.

I actually just mentioned that someone should do 360 videos of epic and scary waves to surf and your channel was dropped telling me you made this video. The first day I suffered some water drop issues on the lens... but got it corrected for the other sessions. seems best viewed on a phone... Thoughts on this type of footage?
ALSO: I shoot with this camera often, and the footage can (and will) be edited into normal form down the road. Just wanted to upload this and see the results.
How did you fix the water drop issue?
@@djdenby3 I believe it was an issue with the amount of wind on the one day... or foam. I'm not sure... ive used that camera for a while, and never had water drop issues that bad. didnt have em after that though.

I don't know Brett but that was barely watchable at all with all the blurring and droplets. I still watched the whole thing somehow though :)

Brett did you end up paddling out at all last night near the lighthouse? I had to drive back to Kitty hawk at like 3:30 but from what my buddy told me and from watching the cams, It looked like it got kind of fun about 30 minutes after I left.
