The math is clear, 3 QB, 3 WR, 1 OT, 1 DE. If someone moves up for JJ it moves a Top 8 player to 9! Nabers Odunze, or Turner! I'M ALL IN
Trade down. I still think blue chip talent is there at 12. Verse & turner are both blue chip to me at the edge position, pick up a 2nd or 3rd and use that pick on a quality center we can develop

Not only do I think the Top 3 recievers don’t make it to 9, but I also think that by having DJ Moore and Keenan Allen, it gives you another year to plan on drafting your next WR1 next year, or sign somebody else. I like Brendan Rice in the 3rd round for Caleb.
In terms of the stadium, location wise Chicago Lakefront is better, but in terms of maximizing profits, Arlington Heights is the better option. I just want the stadium to get sorted out asap!
If they let the City of Chicago manage it, they will mess it up just as bad as soldier field.
5:17 look at that. The 3 positions we need most after getting a QB are WR, pass rusher, and o-line. It so happens that the best players available, when it gets to the bears at #9, will have studs in all 3 categories available. They can pick and chose depending on how picks 2-8 goes. They are gonna get a tremendous player that fills a critical need no matter who they pick. The footballs gods are favoring the Bears. Unreal. And after that historic haul they got from the Panthers which landed them caleb williams out of all the drafts! And THAT only happened after a miracle win by lovie smith and the texans!
And the texans got rewarded big time for winning that game cause that forced them to take stroud!! If they had the #1 pick, they might have taken Young instead

If you believe Poles actually considered keeping Justin Fields, contact me, I have some land to sell you real cheap. All that was spin to make Fields feel better, like they were on the line about trading him, when they knew they were going to trade him and draft Caleb.
It was all propaganda put out by the Bears, what did you think they were going to say, they know Fields is a bust so they are getting rid of the bum, of course not, they put out a BS statement saying how much they liked him and how hard it was to trade him, and that they thought about keeping him, and it was all lies.
They moves they made and they way they put this team together said they are trading Fields and drafing Caleb, and anyone with half a brain could see that. When Poles said they want to do right by Justin and not leave him in a gray area, I know for sure he was gone. And I was right, all the Fields fanboys got it wrong, just as I said they did, and they are all crying now.

@petey2931 idk if they have too, if Alt is there, I'd strongly consider taking him. Edge is a huge need, but getting a new LT that could be the best offensive linemen in this draft is something that has to be strongly considered.

Williams as a prospect in my opinion out of 100 would be a solid 90.
K or T-- depends on the draft board. If Odunze, Nabors, Alt, Fashanu are on the board then K. If not, trade down and get a DE (Verse, Turner or Latu) and a draft pick maybe second or third round and pick up another WR deep class in 2nd and 3rd rounds- McConkey, Mitchell, Coleman, Wilson, Pearsall, Worthy, Walker, Legette, and Rice are all good.

As a bear stand of course I want them to win, as a quarterback chooser, if I’m going to draft one instead of continuing develop the one we had which is a gone, gone situation I get it. Still think it’s a dumb idea but I’d still rather haveJayden Daniels, this is not an emotional response but a football response if you want to get into analytics and basic completion percentage, numbers etc. I mean even has better numbers, he might end up being the surprise of the draft, but I think Daniels could be the CJ Stroud plus Justin Fields with his running ability… He’s also 6 foot four which matters, and I’m sure he runs faster than 4.50/40, sometimes he looks like he’s 4.35… Of course I don’t want him as often but you put 10 pounds muscle on him, develop him even further, plus I’d like to see him throw on the move more often because you rarely see it if ever. It’s either throw or run and he needs to develop that part of his game unless he isn’t very good which is why they don’t show it as often. That’s my only question about him… His passing is elite, deep balls, accuracy, touch, his mid range to short throws are also very accurate… And I like that he’s not all hyped out and he’s very humble and has no expectations but to be great and not acting like a spoiled kid… I’m sorry but Caleb Williams puts that on himself because of his actions not his words, it’s easy to say what people want to hear, it’s easy to look like a decent and great human being with great football knowledge in front of the camera he’s got training, he does a commercials, he makes money so it’s nothing new to him. There’s just something about him, about his character and personality that make him seem very immature even though he’s an adult at times he can put off a negative aspect to his personality that is not so easy to hide. Daniels is the opposite, he’s, has more humility, even though he was a Heisman Trophy winner… I think… He doesn’t have the same type of issues and media hype. So I’d rather take Daniels but I’m not gonna root against Caleb Williams… If he does a great job then I’m happy for the Bears… and if he proves me wrong, that’s cool.

The center position is still not solved! Neither one of the G/Cs signed are quality starters especially when it comes to pass blocking and we need to upgrade the LT and RG positions! That O-line is going to be the downfall of whatever hopes there is for a quality season, and "Oh" we will have a rookie QB, whoever it is!

Like he said, A defensive players can "help the QB" via preventing the opposing team from scoring, hence putting the offense in a position where the QB doesnt have to pass as much. So i think the pick will be a defensive player. Or maybe it will be a offensive players. Vague on the extension for allen, and hes 32. U need a young wr to replace allen once he leaves chicago in 2-3 years.

There is no doubt the Bears are going to draft Caleb. They love him, and his arm, and everyone said he looked great at the pro day. Nick Wright at FS1 said he thinks Caleb could be a top 5 QB in the NFL within 2 years, he is really high on Caleb.

Vegas has the over/under on wins for the Bears at 8.5, so they think they are good for maybe 9 wins, that would be 2 more than last season. I think they can win 10 games, so I see it a little better than Vegas does.

The Bears have only 2 players still on the team that were on the team and started in 2021. Cole Kmet on offence and Jaylon Johnson on defense. David Kaplan is great, and he was 100% right about the Bears trading Justin Fields, even when all the Fields fanboys were telling him he was wrong. He knew exactly what he was talking about, and he put most of them in their place. Especially that loser nobody know nothing punk from Swift Sports, who had it all wrong, and refused to listen to Kap, who got it all right.
I understand the desire to keep the Bears in the City however, the plan to share revenue with the City is in my opinion a bad decision. Also, getting downtown really SUCKS. I HATE driving to games at Soldier Field, the parking situation is THE WORST. If they stay downtown, I'll just stay home and save time and money.

If we wanted to continue running the ball we would have kept fields.
Caleb scored 120 tds and only 14 ints in 2 1/2 seasons. Sometimes it takes the right player to come in and break the mold. If he can’t do it, we are doomed. But new coaches, new GM. They now have their guy. Be positive and see if real change can happen.

Run or pass first is based on your personnel. Our problem has been the personnel and upper management.
