    I have been begging, for I do not know how long, to find someone who would teach me to do wig lines. You just saved my butt. Thank you and you absolutely now have a fan for life. Thanks Bobbie.

    I had no idea what went into making a drag wig as I’ve never been asked to make one, but to watch this was an entertainment in itself! Brilliant craftsmanship there!

    So is a rooted wigline only used for that sky-high type of drag style? Or can it be used for a more normal style of wig as well? Everything I've seen regarding rooted wiglines has that same type of style. I'm looking for ways to make a non-lace wig line look a little more realistic. Maybe if I made the rooted wigline a little shorter than it is here?

    Hi I love this video and thank you so much for sharing. I wanted to know at the point where you are cutting the rooted front would it have been easier to use thinning shears rather than the scissors ?

    • @WigginOutBZ
      @WigginOutBZ  8 років тому

      Hmm.. I've never tried it, but I personally try to make the rooted front as choppy and pointed as I can, and thinning shears cut pretty boxy; but it's worth a try!

    Can u tease a cosplay wig? Or whats the difference between a regular wig and a cosplay wig?

    • @WigginOutBZ
      @WigginOutBZ  10 років тому

      They're all the same. Usually cosplay wigs are in their own category based on their colors and haircuts which most fashion wigs don't have, but they're the same thing.

    • @alfredsalinas86
      @alfredsalinas86 10 років тому

      Oh ok.. cause I have this long red wig like long past my butt long and its heat resistance is high heat and when I try to tease it.... it just makes a knot... its in long layers I used it for poison ivy last Halloween costume and I only got the top teased cause it was short... is the other half to heavy? Should I perm roll it n set it.. I have a white one exactly the same one for this Halloween and I dont wanna make a knot out of it...

    • @WigginOutBZ
      @WigginOutBZ  10 років тому +1

      Teasing works best when there are layers, sounds like the weight of the hair is keeping it from getting big.

    can u use a pair of zigzag shears?

    • @WigginOutBZ
      @WigginOutBZ  10 років тому

      I really only ever use pinking shears for cutting fabric or wig lace, synthetic hair dulls scissors very quickly.

    You're so very talented! I have a question, why not use a razor on the rooted front so you have a thinner, softer edge? Also, wouldn't a pair of tiny hair detail scissors be preferable to what you were using? Everything is gorgeous but the hairline draws attention away from the beauty

    • @WigginOutBZ
      @WigginOutBZ  7 років тому

      I'd be worried about cutting away too much of the hair by using a razor, but that's just me.
