I have been begging, for I do not know how long, to find someone who would teach me to do wig lines. You just saved my butt. Thank you and you absolutely now have a fan for life. Thanks Bobbie.
This was very informative and your directions seem easy to follow. I'll have to try rejuvenating some old wigs with your techniques. Thanks for sharing.
Love, Love, & a lil' more LOVE!!! Now you're gonna have me snatching up almost bald wigs and sewing hair to them (LOL). But seriously, great work! I'm a fan now!!!
Very informative, I am glad I stumbled upon your part 1&2 videos! I have several wigs that just aren't cutting it for me and your tutorial really helped me to figure out how to re-vamp them. You have a new subscriber
Thank you for taking the time to make tutorials like these. It's been a big help as I'd be otherwise lost as a brand spanking newbie to drag..... Best Regards :)
I had no idea what went into making a drag wig as I’ve never been asked to make one, but to watch this was an entertainment in itself! Brilliant craftsmanship there!
Wow! You make this look so easy! . . . I know from experience that it's not! Haha! But I've picked up some great tips from you. Thanks so much for sharing!
Thank you for sharing this wonderful video... I will no longer throw my old rugs and instead, I will turn them into RuPaul-ish ones... it takes a lot of time and effort but this is just amazing to learn from you... thanks cutie! ^^
Hey Bobbie... I love how talented you are.. i was watching this and was wondering if I sent you a picture of an updo if you can do THIS wig in the video in similar colors? Aaron~
So is a rooted wigline only used for that sky-high type of drag style? Or can it be used for a more normal style of wig as well? Everything I've seen regarding rooted wiglines has that same type of style. I'm looking for ways to make a non-lace wig line look a little more realistic. Maybe if I made the rooted wigline a little shorter than it is here?
Hi I love this video and thank you so much for sharing. I wanted to know at the point where you are cutting the rooted front would it have been easier to use thinning shears rather than the scissors ?
Hmm.. I've never tried it, but I personally try to make the rooted front as choppy and pointed as I can, and thinning shears cut pretty boxy; but it's worth a try!
They're all the same. Usually cosplay wigs are in their own category based on their colors and haircuts which most fashion wigs don't have, but they're the same thing.
Oh ok.. cause I have this long red wig like long past my butt long and its heat resistance is high heat and when I try to tease it.... it just makes a knot... its in long layers I used it for poison ivy last Halloween costume and I only got the top teased cause it was short... is the other half to heavy? Should I perm roll it n set it.. I have a white one exactly the same one for this Halloween and I dont wanna make a knot out of it...
How did you learn to do these things? I'm a freelance makeup artist (self-taught, specializing in drag, event, and theatre makeup) and I would LOVE to learn how to make fantastic wigs like yours! This was so cool and informative!
I'm trying to do a cosplay of peridot from Steven Universe and her hair is basically I giant triangle. Would this technique work for something like that? any other tips would be great too!
You're so very talented! I have a question, why not use a razor on the rooted front so you have a thinner, softer edge? Also, wouldn't a pair of tiny hair detail scissors be preferable to what you were using? Everything is gorgeous but the hairline draws attention away from the beauty
your just amazing at what you do im a big admirer of the beautiful woman goddesses of drag I didn't know anything of the sort til the movie tu wong fu, no joke ..I love your girls I want to purchase one soon ..thankyou for your talent ..💋
@@shane193 4 years ago lace fronts weren't as easily accessible as they are now. At least not good quality ones. They all had that harsh mesh wiring and looked worse.

Would you consider doing a week teasing class
I love it....You did a great job.
I know this is an old video, but how to you secure the front down on these types of styles?
Great work I love love love

I really love these videos
You mentioned Steam hair how what’s the process n tool you used ( it was mentioned in your other video)
You are so talented
woowww...great job....nice ...keep doing this fantastic videos!!!!!!
What would you retail a wig like this at? I would be interested.
Now THIS is how to do real hair! Awesome tutorial!
What kind of comb/brush are you using?
wow great info
I wonder if I could send you a photo of a wig I want and either to get made or I guess make and I need your expert advice
Having the experience that you had at the time of making this, about how long did the entire process take you over the course of the two days?
Probably 4 hours or so? I'm not sure.
Can u tease a cosplay wig? Or whats the difference between a regular wig and a cosplay wig?
They're all the same. Usually cosplay wigs are in their own category based on their colors and haircuts which most fashion wigs don't have, but they're the same thing.

Teasing works best when there are layers, sounds like the weight of the hair is keeping it from getting big.
***** I wanna send u a picture of it but idk how
is this synthetic ?
I want this WIG!!
Awesome video Bobbie! xo
Excellent! I'm going to give this a shot! :)
How did you learn to do these things? I'm a freelance makeup artist (self-taught, specializing in drag, event, and theatre makeup) and I would LOVE to learn how to make fantastic wigs like yours! This was so cool and informative!
Thanks! I'm mainly self taught with experimentation and a lot of research!
Thank you!!!!! Great tutorial!!!
I'm trying to do a cosplay of peridot from Steven Universe and her hair is basically I giant triangle. Would this technique work for something like that? any other tips would be great too!
Watching this is 2024 👌🏻 great tut!
luv you . you luv wigs & working w wigs as much as I do!!.
can u use a pair of zigzag shears?
I really only ever use pinking shears for cutting fabric or wig lace, synthetic hair dulls scissors very quickly.
oh!!!! thanks didn't know that
thanks for the info
Amaze'! tutorial!
Do you sell this wig ?
I love Scissor Sisters.

I'd be worried about cutting away too much of the hair by using a razor, but that's just me.
You are the Ultimate Wig Goddess!!!!! I Learned so much!!! Thank you Pussycat!!! :)
You inspired me tonight along with @Dragology
I CAN SEE IT!!! yayyyyyy!!!

What's your Facebook name
you are so cute!!! ^_^
That hairline is still a bit "harsh"...but I get the idea.
They're not everyone's cup of tea, I personally don't like them or wear them but I will make them for clients if requested.
Id prefer lace fronts and just add bundles for bulk.
@@shane193 4 years ago lace fronts weren't as easily accessible as they are now. At least not good quality ones. They all had that harsh mesh wiring and looked worse.
