As someone new to the sport, that is what I think sucks most with this sport. There's so little arm wrestling in an arm wrestling match. It's all this extra stuff to get strapped, prepared, in position, shit talking. Actual match time is like a few seconds every ten minutes.

This is my GOAT, always been my GOAT. So happy to see armwrestling getting the attention it deserves. I saw Devon the first time on a TNT show with Shaq as a huge basketball fan, and he immediately got me hooked. That has gotta be close to 10 years ago.
How exactly? Oleg clearly had no chance so you couldn't tell from how the match went if he was broken mentally or not, he would have lost either way. From the look of his face, he was annoyed at most.
Why? Devon was stronger-that was the reason. If Oleg had won, people would have seen Devon as a loudmouthed fool who finally got what he deserved. And yes, I am not a fan of this unnecessary behaviour.

All the best arm wrestlers learn from their losses, improve on their weaknesses, and come back better than they were before. Oleg is a phenomenal athlete and competitor, so it’s extremely likely this is only the beginning of his career, and he will have learnt a lot from this match.
Devon. Is so obsessed with this sport.. he is telling the refs how to ref, the competition how wrestle and the coaches how to coach. And he 100% correct. How do you beat such a foe
By doing so he became the champion in 3 categories, the only one to do so. I don't see any problem with the side quests. It just proves that he is the best in 105, 115 and prolly 2nd best in the 115 + category. The final boss you are talking is like 50 kgs heavier 😂
He showed incredible weakness, giving up so easily. Who gives up like that? I’ve never seen anyone surrender as much as he did every time he started losing. Instead of fighting back, he chose to foul out-an obvious sign of a weak mindset. His silence wasn’t poise; it was a lack of courage. He couldn’t stand up for himself under pressure, revealing cowardice and fragility. Perhaps this reflects something about his homeland, but that’s for others to decide.
Off table personality wise, sure. But the antics around engaging at the start and the actual competition seems almost unwatchable. Casual observer - clicked the vid cos I enjoyed DL training Brian. Won’t go out of my way to watch any more of these comps.

Used to genuinely enjoy watching Devon in years past, when he was an up and coming powerhouse... a bit more reserved, humble, but confident. Now he seems a bit much, even though I know he's playing a character to some degree. Still, this doesn't diminish his talent. Powerful.

Henearly lost first two rounds. If the match lasts for 15minutes as it should you'd see another picture. Grinding for hours is not everybody's style. That's why larrat sabotages every step of the fight

Pretty sure he apologized for what happened AFTER the match, which was cut out of this video. In the PPV, Devon called out Morozov, and they started pulling. Engin was trying to stop the match, Devon was pushing him, and he was swearing at Devon in Turkish before Michael eventually got him to stop.
Devon puts on a diabolical performance every time. He is a calculated man in his sport. Trash talk is part of all games and getting into an opponent’s head is a proven strategy he is talented at. His strength is incredible and he has pure power!
Total domination. Devon has no business in 105 kg class, likely in 115 kg class too. There is no need for him to fight once a year in those categories if there is no suitable oponnent for him.

I am glad I'm not the only one who strongly feels that way as well. He's gone too far and will cause an exodus from the sport. No other sport in the world would tolerate that kind of insolence directed toward another opponent. Disqualification and a hefty fine will straighten him out real quick. I for one will not watch his matches anymore if this kind of behavior is allowed to continue and neither should the sponsors of the matches. He literally displays the opposite of how Canadians typically behave in sport.

How exactly? Oleg clearly had no chance so you couldn't tell from how the match went if he was broken mentally or not, he would have lost either way. From the look of his face, he was annoyed at most.
Why? Devon was stronger-that was the reason. If Oleg had won, people would have seen Devon as a loudmouthed fool who finally got what he deserved. And yes, I am not a fan of this unnecessary behaviour.

Oleg is a phenomenal athlete and competitor, so it’s extremely likely this is only the beginning of his career, and he will have learnt a lot from this match.

@ramkripalyadav7220 i know devon can press pretty good but he rarely use it in center and uses it more like a finisher . vitali's strength could be too much for devon because of vitali's height and strong wrist . vitaly is a better toproller and has a strong wrist and he is still growing in strength and body weight while it's not clear if devon can get better without gaining more weight .

I am glad I'm not the only one who strongly feels that way as well. He's gone too far and will cause an exodus from the sport. No other sport in the world would tolerate that kind of insolence directed toward another opponent. Disqualification and a hefty fine will straighten him out real quick. I for one will not watch his matches anymore if this kind of behavior is allowed to continue and neither should the sponsors of the matches.
