1868 Sewing Machine O Robinson. UK

This is a machine we picked up about ten years ago.
Researching we found an English patent 1868
O Robinson
for this Galoshing or Back Strapping machine.
This is unusual as it feeds along the arm and not across it.
I would think ideal for boot back strapping and inside sleeves and trouser legs. I bit of a favorite this machine
We were lucky to have some LONG needles which fit it and now it is sewing beautifully.
Possibly one from left field.
