In the anime she was pretty consistently a bitch to Rudeus, so yes, this changes a perspective on her. She was also an orphan from a village that the Geayrat family failed to protect from monsters. She often saw young nobles escape their pampered lifestyles to become adventurers, only to put professionals they teamed up with in danger, then go back to being nobles afer a few quests, so pretty much like when Eris went Goblin hunting with a prodigy mage. That said, I'd love to see Sara's reaction to the panty shrine as well as to Elisese Dragonroad sleeping around and ending up in Rudy's bed, or witnessing the awkward conversation between Elisese, Rudeus and Soldat.

In the heat of the moment we often say and do hurtful things. If we are lucky things can be patched up quickly or later on, but not always. What I love so much about this Story is that the Interactions and Emotions of Characters feel so real. Relationship and Life in general is often not pretty, but with any luck we will end up in a better place along the way. I have learned to look back at all the Mistakes and Pain made along the way in Life as it ending up with me being where I need to be. If not for all of them I would have never met the Woman who became my Wife, and without her I would surly be in a worse place. Keep moving forward because every step is another chance to find where you belong.
I think we will be getting an extra episode focused on Sara like the eris goblin extermination episode. They can't just leave her side of story like this

I think that's unlikely. There are plenty of parts like this that we're cut, for instance the story of what happened to Ghislaine after the teleportation incident, or how Fitts, Ariel and Luke escaped the kingdom.

I dont think rudy even mentions saras body in the anime, he says child like directly before referring to the date and shopping. I figured he was referring to that. Especially considering eris is of a smaller frame than sara. Also she called him "awful" as she left and then told rudy " i never want to see your face around here again" but shes supprised dude left the city?
I think its always interesting when a change in perspective is done. Helps to being a better understanding to a situation even ones that seem black and white. I do feel bad for both Sara and Rudeus that this happened but it is nice to know they at least both learned from it. Do hope they can at least say their peace one day even if it might not be necessary.
They always cut content that attends to the emotional payoffs, huge mistake in the anime, and something that could probably be fixed with pacing elsewhere. I think this is the one thing that consistently holds this IP back

The story was well written from a emotional perspective. but as far as the question goes on changing my perspective on sara. no since the story had some logical flaws to it. Its a little extra to spend 6 months with someone and not notice Rudeus was depressed based on their initial interactions and how he would continue to act for the whole 6 months. like didnt even give him a chance or benefit of the doubt. despite the fact that he saved her when the whole party basically abandoned her to save themselves(understandable) + she even acknowledges that she judged him wrong at the start and started to grow feelings for him. so for her to say that hes basically some sociopath that was lying to them was a far stretch considering that she kept advancing on him with her flirtyness and he only made a move at the very end when she initiated and was basically like "bring it home rudeus" so he wasn't trying to toy with her feelings like she was implying. So no, i hope they get a chance to meet and she can apologize and talk things out but they should not have a romantic relationship again.
I dont really feel all that bad for Sara, its hard to feel bad for impulsive people who just say and do whatever they want, most people will regret their wrongs as an after fact and thats if they find the excuse personally legit. who I am really sorry for is Rudy given well... lets be honest he has a shit life from his past before coming there and even in the story with a few glimpses of joy here and there that are always fading, thats my thought at least and I find it ironic that Sara is the one who thinks he lived a sheltered life only to have that notion somehow flip on its head by the end of it.
To anime-onlies Sara fans : Sara was merely a means to highlighting, providing a better understanding of how bad and serious Rudeus's depression was after Eris leaving him, how he struggled with it and failed to overcome it and move on. That is the whole point of the depressed mage arc (plus makimg his decision to enroll in the school more believable and compellimg). The arc (Volume 7, Anime S2 EP1-3) is not about Rudeus-Sara love story, but about a depressed mage, Rudeus. Sara has already served her role in the main-story plot the author wanted her to do, and has little more to do from now on. So she has only a couple of short return moments, but nothing more. In short, she is pretty much a minor side character in the grand narrative scheme of Mushoku tensei (at least from now on) The chracters you guys saw in the credit scene at the end of S2 EP 4- Cliff, Nanahoshi, two beast girls, Zanoba, Sylphy, Ariel, Luke, etc including Elinalise - are the Real Gang of the Mushoku tensei who will get deeply involved with the life of Rudeus and the main story-plot of Mushoku tensei till the end of the series. So forget her and move on.
sara could be a great character though, i thought she'd come by on future episodes but sadly that's only saras purpose , to show how fragile rudeus is when eris left and dumped him

The next episode will be the proper start of the next arc. That's why I didn't make this video until today, just *in case* it was shown in episode 4, which would be the only place it would have made sense to include it (though I didn't expect it to be, as the anime cuts a lot of stuff from other characters' points of view that aren't also important to Rudy's story). They can't cover everything, and it does make sense that some things will be more, extra stuff for the light novels that fleshes out side characters and worldbuilding.
I wouldn't say anime onlies would guess that Sara went and discussed it with Elise... but yes, I agree that it was fine for this to be cut from the anime, I just also think it's interesting extra information and worth a listen.

This would have been hard for Rudeus too, the Boy was in reality a Man who had done many mistakes in his past life and was perhaps wanting to avoid making the same mistakes and being hurt since his one night with Eris that broke his heart when she left him towards the end of Season 1.
I liked Sara quite a bit. Sure - she was rash and even a little bratty, but she was still just a child, living a life well beyond her years and emotional matureness. I hope they reunite and have a good talk, and maybe sort this out.
I want sara as the 4th waifu. Imagine, they can form a party of 4 lol we have 2 magicians 1 swordsman and an archer, but she's just there to show how bad our MC is going thru.

Knowing more does make me like Sara better, but it's still hard for me to empathize with her. Even if she had been right and he just wasn't attracted to her, acting like having ED was a deliberate insult is kind of insane. No guy ever _wants_ to feel emasculated regardless of the situation. Even if he had chosen to sleep with her out of nothing but sheer loneliness and desperation, it still would have meant he was suffering too. Her reaction paints her as rather callous and self-centered even by her own understanding of the situation.
I didn't hate Sarah and understood that they both messes up in the relationship by taking things too fast. This cut content changed my persoective from indeferent on both parties to positive on Sarah
The fact that Rudeus kept it down against Sara, because he was saving it for his much better wives, shows THATS WHY HES MVP THATS WHY HES THE GOAT, THE GOAT 🐐

Definitely wish that Sara had a chance and Author-Kun had written her back into his life, and eventually as a wife. But we know that didn't happen. A missed opportunity, perhaps, and while Rudy already had his hands full with his established harem, I can't help but think that author-kun could have added one more just because Sara did do quite a bit for him even if he didn't realised it himself at the time.
Read the books. There's a maelstrom of reasons why Rudy marries (and gets taken as a wife). But the most important ones being that somehow they mended a piece of Rudeus' soul.

It was clear that the author wrote Sara in a way that, to Rudy, it was a gut punch, especially when instead of asking what was wrong and if Rudy was alright, Sara immediately jumped to the conclusion that Rudy rejected her and didn't understand that when a man climbs on top of you in bed when you are naked, it's definitely not because he didn't like your body. Also, I made it clear that, it was my opinion that the author could have made Sara a healer to Rudy's wounds and it was a missed opportunity both for Sara as a character as well as in Character, that he chose not to. My thoughts on Sara as a character and how the author wrote her is independent of the books.

It sounds like you read the web novel. Volume 7, where Sara appears, was added in in the LN, so she never appeared in the WN and that part was just a time skip.

That is the whole point of the depressed mage arc (plus makimg his decision to enroll in the school more believable and compellimg). The arc (Volume 7, Anime S2 EP1-3) is not about Rudeus-Sara love story, but about a depressed mage, Rudeus.
Sara has already served her role in the main-story plot the author wanted her to do, and has little more to do from now on.
So she has only a couple of short return moments, but nothing more.
In short, she is pretty much a minor side character in the grand narrative scheme of Mushoku tensei (at least from now on)
The chracters you guys saw in the credit scene at the end of S2 EP 4- Cliff, Nanahoshi, two beast girls, Zanoba, Sylphy, Ariel, Luke, etc including Elinalise - are the Real Gang of the Mushoku tensei who will get deeply involved with the life of Rudeus and the main story-plot of Mushoku tensei till the end of the series.
So forget her and move on.
sara could be a great character though, i thought she'd come by on future episodes but sadly that's only saras purpose , to show how fragile rudeus is when eris left and dumped him

Only just now watching this video, because i didn't catch up to the anime due to irl stuff. But must say thanks for the info shame this didn't make it into the anime. This really makes me like this eries even more, this whole sequence feels more realistic.

The next episode will be the proper start of the next arc. That's why I didn't make this video until today, just *in case* it was shown in episode 4, which would be the only place it would have made sense to include it (though I didn't expect it to be, as the anime cuts a lot of stuff from other characters' points of view that aren't also important to Rudy's story). They can't cover everything, and it does make sense that some things will be more, extra stuff for the light novels that fleshes out side characters and worldbuilding.

Cuz by now it has been mentioned that there were some other in the past like the teacher of Counter Arrow leader, but we didn't get to know anything more about those people like how did they learn it and in general more about them. As an anime only it would be awesome!
It's not a topic that enough is known about to make a video about, but it will be discussed more in the next episode of the anime.

This would have been hard for Rudeus too, the Boy was in reality a Man who had done many mistakes in his past life and was perhaps wanting to avoid making the same mistakes and being hurt since his one night with Eris that broke his heart when she left him towards the end of Season 1.
I liked Sara quite a bit. Sure - she was rash and even a little bratty, but she was still just a child, living a life well beyond her years and emotional matureness. I hope they reunite and have a good talk, and maybe sort this out.

Knowing more does make me like Sara better, but it's still hard for me to empathize with her. Even if she had been right and he just wasn't attracted to her, acting like having ED was a deliberate insult is kind of insane. No guy ever _wants_ to feel emasculated regardless of the situation. Even if he had chosen to sleep with her out of nothing but sheer loneliness and desperation, it still would have meant he was suffering too. Her reaction paints her as rather callous and self-centered even by her own understanding of the situation.

If they got together, everything would change. If Rudeus had rejected her, not much would have. Given the timing, he probably would have rejected her, but at least been happy to hear the apology.

Definitely wish that Sara had a chance and Author-Kun had written her back into his life, and eventually as a wife. But we know that didn't happen. A missed opportunity, perhaps, and while Rudy already had his hands full with his established harem, I can't help but think that author-kun could have added one more just because Sara did do quite a bit for him even if he didn't realised it himself at the time.
ngl Sara didnt do much and in fact made his depression much worse after what happened.
Read the books. There's a maelstrom of reasons why Rudy marries (and gets taken as a wife). But the most important ones being that somehow they mended a piece of Rudeus' soul.

I think you didn't understand what I said.
It was clear that the author wrote Sara in a way that, to Rudy, it was a gut punch, especially when instead of asking what was wrong and if Rudy was alright, Sara immediately jumped to the conclusion that Rudy rejected her and didn't understand that when a man climbs on top of you in bed when you are naked, it's definitely not because he didn't like your body.
Also, I made it clear that, it was my opinion that the author could have made Sara a healer to Rudy's wounds and it was a missed opportunity both for Sara as a character as well as in Character, that he chose not to.
My thoughts on Sara as a character and how the author wrote her is independent of the books.

Odd question, but was there a volume in between eris leaving and crimson dragon hunt? I feel like I accidentally missed a volume while reading, cuz i dont remember sara or any of the counter arrow at all except later in the story when she appears again
It sounds like you read the web novel. Volume 7, where Sara appears, was added in in the LN, so she never appeared in the WN and that part was just a time skip.
