- AtGames put out an announcement today that they have updated the artwork package on the upcoming Legends Pinball 4KP Star Trek Collector's Edition listening to fan and reviewer feedback! Let's take a look at the changes made and does this fix the issues people had with pre-ordering this upcoming 4K Virtual Pinball Machine?

Everyone wants to shit on AtGames right now, but I never saw Arcade 1Up iterate on a shown design prior to release AND fix issues customers had with it.
This was a pretty positive video. If they do something good I'll say it. If they do something not good (at least in my opinion) I'll say it.
@@PDubsArcadeLoft I should have said it was nice to see a positive video, I am sorry. There has been a ton of negativity regarding their new product that I happen to love way more than the original cabinet and that’s with the early adopter issues that I know it has and experience. But they’ve done great with updates in the past with their stuff so no reason to believe they won’t come through again. I’ll gladly take a few issues for a 500 dollar saving off the initial price.
I'm not a huge fan of Star Trek, and definitely not the version of Trek this machine is themed around, but I do think this redesign looks like a big improvement.

I think these changes look great, although I hope they do something similar to the other side of the machine so it matches with the blue color. The side of the machine that they do show now reminds me more of the Stern Pinball machine, which I think is a WIN! Topper and backbox look much better now IMO.

I was really hoping for a STNG cabinet but it is definitely an improvement. Thanks for they you change the other side to match or at least color match with a slightly different image I would get it.

This may sound stupid, but on the right and left sides of the cabinet, make it a black backround with the starship number NCC-1701 on the sides of the cabinet. That's it! Too busy for the sides of the cabinet as it is now.

Being a SYFY fan, i came very close to getting one, but AFM dropped that week and ordered it instead. I'm more interested on gameplay optimization rather than artwork, honestly. The skins can be changed easily
They did a really good job on the artwork package for Attack From Mars. If I didn't have Addams Family I would've got that one.
I would have pre-ordered if it was a STTNG pin. So STTNG or Mandalorian I will then get one. I know you can just get new art but in my thinking more bugs will be worked out before I order one. lol I know ZENs Mando pin is not the same as the Stern one but I am ok with that.

Same boat, a Mando OR Boba Fett would be a best seller.
But either must include Star Wars Collectibles and Starfighter Assault in its game list.
The look is definitely improved, I currently have no plans on buying it, but I hope for AtGames success so I can continue to get products I want. FYI, I got my Addams Family, I am one of the luckier ones with no obvious damage that I've noticed yet. I am still in the shake down phase, so we'll see how things pan out, but my initial review is that I really like the look and feel. I think its a major improvement over the HD.🎉
So, now that the Atgames 4k machine is out, are they done releasing tables for the original machine?

Go checkout Stern Star Trek LE and compare. Proof art package can be amazing on newer Star Trek IP. Less is more.

Hey Pdubs, im sure AtGames went with thr Kelvin crew for the younger generation, but TNG would probably have sold more cabs. I also wonder what the cost difference was to Atgames for the IP rights. TNG may have been astronomical. This is better but that white side clashes hard. There's going to be a lot of re-skining on these for sure.

For the Magic Pixel Tables yes. Addams Family still a work in progress
@PDubsArcadeLoft I would like to have a virtual machine just to learn rules on real tables that I don't get to play as often... I wish there was a digital Labyrinth pin that I'd true to your machine.. only you to play it a limited amount if time at Expo and have been jonesing to play it again...such a cool game
I think they should have done the williams star trek table.
It will be released on the platform, but no artwork for it, opportunity missed
They need to fix all their non Williams tables because they are all to easy . The main skill in pinball is keeping the ball in play .They need a harder mode on zen games it's for kids .cheers

It's just too bad they used that dog-shit reboot version on Star Trek. STNG Pinball was great. They should have included the true "Legends". IMO It's a hard pass for me.
