Thanks for posting your trip. I was wondering what happened in the gorge. It looks like some spots are gonna have bigger, stouter drops in high water. What you called sh!t shoals looks more like it did back before the big flood of 77. Glad to see that open back up. I never could have imagined Maggie's Rock being gone! But then again, some of the bigger ones in Quarter Mile and On the Rocks are gone too... My guess on the water level would be about 1.8' on the old Poplar gauge, somewhere around 750-800 cfs at Embreeville...
Appreciate your insights and agree it's crazy to see it like this, with the river bank being constricted in places it's really hard to tell what the levels are!!
