When this movie first came out i was a kid and i loved it!! Ill never forget how the old guy stayed at the end to go on and try to kill the Trex!! I have looked for this movie on UA-cam for free and can't find it. The name of this movie is called The Last Dinosaur..
I never knew he existed until this movie. I was a kid. Had no interest in actors. But watching this movie late at night, this person struck me as different--who IS this guy? Decades later I can see Boone knew he was in a dumb movie, but he had to have some self-respect. He DID something with the dumb script he was handed. He knew he HAD to chew the scenery like he was famished. I've never forgotten his performance DECADES after my first and only viewing of this movie.
@@gerrydooley951 This was Boone's last performance before he died. He was in rough shape and was battling alcohol abuse. I read that he was a bit difficult in the making of this movie: forgetting or screwing up lines, showing up drunk or late, arguing with the producers and writers, etc. However, he was liked by his fellow cast members.
Wow, what a grade D movie, probably went straight to DVD for export to Japan probably. Shame Richard Boone was in it, but I guess when you get older your options become much more limited in the things you can do to get paid.;)
"You ding ding!"
That says it ALL!
The dinosaur may be played by a hunchback in a TRex costume, but as a kid, I found it scary af.....

It used to be up, but alas, the You Tube copyright police found it and took it down.

Impressive given how utterly in his cups he was for the duration of filming (hence the constant shades).
I wonder what it was like filming the movie with Richard Boone?
YOU DING DONG!!! 🤣
This is a rare video. I can't even watch it on TV channel. Underrated movie.
Earlier in the Movie, He Clapped the Blonde Reporters Cheeks😂. Classic.
I love how his sunglasses are so high up, the echoing trumpets and 4:57 I don't know! 😂

Boone didn't need the money but he was a friend of Arthur Rankin and Rankin talked him into it. Plus ,it was a free trip to Japan
Lmao bro, facts. I saw this on TV with my Pops in the early 80s.
