I usually never believe this stuff works but I tried it myself, after averaging 40 fps, I hit 120 as soon as I logged in and I said no way, then it dropped to 60 and I said I knew it wouldn't work, but my last 2 games I've been running at 80-90 fps. It's amazing :) thanks so much

this did absolutely nothing negative to my computer. all my programs still run fine, all my games run fine, gave me more frames, and even allowed me to run more programs in the background while playing.

Ok so it has been a few days and suddenly my fps has dropped again to the 20s-30s like before and the stuttering is back. Ive reset the priority back to high but not sure what settings may have changed just like that. Any idea?

I’ve been trying for ages to reduce the ping for ow. I’m so glad I found your guide it still works even in 2020. My fps kept dropping before and my ping was so high. But now the game runs smoothly and no lag. For other people who want to try this make sure you follow exactly as shown in video watch the entire 21:36 minutes
k player No it didnt, the vc works fine for me. You could try fixing the vc manually or resetting your comp to previous settings and doing the setup over again?

This guide works in Apr 2020 too. Thanks @Panjno. I have got the lift of 30 fps (to about 90-100 fps) on my gaming laptop. But that is not it, overall the FPS do not drop in the game. My laptop is backup gaming PC for me when I travel and this optimization really helped me playing Overwatch on the go and with decent experience. My laptop spec, GeForce 940MX 2GB GPU, 8 GB ram, i5 2600 processor and 256GB SSD.

uhh my fps got worse after doing this whole guide edit: i went back to regedit cos i had a feeling that was what made it worse and switched the GPU Priority and Priority back to the original 8's and now its amazing, wouldnt recommending listening to that part of the tutorial but the rest seems great, thanks
yup i he told me to set it to 6 i think and i did and then it lagged but when i switched it back to the original one before i changed it (8) it was great

Dude, thank you so much. The maximum amount of FPS I used to have was about 60 with FPS-drops to about 30 FPS. Now i have consistently about 95 FPS with minimum FPS of 85. This guide helped so much. Thanks again. Btw I deleted 6 GB of useless files. PS: I play on a 5 years old MSI gaming laptop and it still helped alot.

I tried this guide a few months ago but when I tried it it didn't do anything and I was pretty bummed out and just reverted the changes. Then a few days ago after pretty much trying everything I said fuck it and went full screen mode even though I hate fullscreen, turns out that was the issue the whole time haha. I went from 74FPS with massive frame drops to the 120 that I had set it to. I rewatched your guide and now it works even better, thanks man!

That's normal in some systems, if it's low-end, then that's to be expected yes, but med and high shouldn't be having this issue.

Thank you so much for this guide. I had around 70-100 fps and it was really unstable it lagged alot. Now after i did these things i get stable 120-140 fps and it feels really good. Liked and subbed :D
I tried this guide a few months ago but when I tried it it didn't do anything and I was pretty bummed out and just reverted the changes. Then a few days ago after pretty much trying everything I said fuck it and went full screen mode even though I hate fullscreen, turns out that was the issue the whole time haha. I went from 74FPS with massive frame drops to the 120 that I had set it to. I rewatched your guide and now it works even better, thanks man!
I just did everything and saw all the comments about low fps but it actually got me from 30 to 100 fps !!!
Wow, i have an extremely low end pc which normally can barely maintain 30 fps, thank you so much, now im hitting closer to 50 or 60

If you’re having spikes in fps i heavily suggest reparking or not unparking at all, it fixed the spikes for me and didn’t change the fps at all
This brought my FPS from 60 to 85, I LOVE YOU!!!!!
