The ULTIMATE Overwatch 2 FPS Increase Guide is here! - *For Nvidia users, try REFLEX ON+BOOST* This was meant to appear in text during that setting in the video :) Shadows: These can be useful so try HIGH, otherwise go with OFF for performance
In overwatch 1 I never had performance issues and always clocked in at around 200 fps on high settings. The first week of me playing ow 2 was fine, no lag and all but now it drops to 20 fps every so often. so frustrating. my pc isn't even that bad
same to me I realized it the other day. Since ow2 first dropped I have had 0 perfomance issues with it running smooth and now it just keeps stuttering and is unplayable for no reason.
In my experience the game is a little more cpu intensive compared to ow1, try monitoring your temps using something like hwmonitor and make sure nothing is thermal throttling. Also If you can tell that your cpu/gpu is being bottlenecked you can tell what needs to be upgraded with an app like that
if its the only game doing this then it's the game. None of it is your fault. if all games do this and your cpu/gpu activity isn't going to another program or otherwise seeming suspicious, you might have a dead component somewhere. look for corrosion or burn marks on the pcb
@@nalimadi5780 I can safely say that shadows have alerted me of at least ONE person in the past month that I would have otherwise not noticed. Don't underestimate them. If you need the extra FPS then yeah go for it but if you have enough power for more than your monitor's refresh rate then I would recommend at least LOW. BTW, only metal rank players are always shooting at enemy players. Higher skill players will position themselves and wait for a push before blindly opening fire.
Having some shadows can give you an advantage on certain places. Effects detail should also be put on medium or high because on low it does not show very important effects (like Soldier's heal)
@@GentlyUsedFrog shadows don't give an advantage in higher ranks. We all run everything on very low besides resolution. It's played to fast and shadows are more of a distraction in top 500 then anything good.
Dude I feel like I'm playing a completely different game. This worked VERY well for me, just absolutely murderedt the match I just played in Suravasa whew
The first ever video that I watched from your channel was the Overwatch optimization guide back in 2017. Ever since I have been interested in PC optimization and have watched your videos :)
This genuinely helped so much. I have a 2017 ROG laptop and for the last 2-ish years, I couldn’t play overwatch due to the lag i had. I would walk one way, then randomly teleport back to where I was; it was awful. I did about most of the software fixes in this video, and I can actually PLAY again. I’ve been playing since 2016, and this solution helped respark my love for the game. Thank you so much, genuinely.
Hey, You are the only guy who I can trust with these fps boost tutorials. Thanks for your dedication. And I am waiting for Warzone 2.0 FPS boost tutorial.
Wow my game literally went from inconsistent fps around 120 for my 144Hz monitor where I had to unplug my other monitor and close applications. Now it runs at 300 fps with both monitors open and better settings this is incredible
HOLY CRAP! I am playing on a low end laptop ($500), which is horrible! At first, I thought this wouldn't work, I was reaching about 12 FPS at max, but now I am getting 50-60! Holy crap man, this really works! Thank you so much. ,
FPS guide for warzone 2 and MW2 would be amazing! Also there are so many different opinions on "Monitor Distance Coefficient" but not sure which one is the correct one, any thoughts on this setting?
I don't know which of these did it, but at least ONE of these fixed my micro stuttering/rubber banding issues, thanks so much for this! Gonna bookmark this for the future.
Everytime overwatch does something weirds and resets my settings back to default this is my go to video. Thanks a million Panjno! Could you do a new one for 2024 :)?
Hey Panjno thanks for the guide. Can you make an updated Valorant FPS increase guide? Cause a lot has changed for this game, so I think it will be beneficial. Once again thank you for providing us these tweaks and optimisations. You are a life saver man :D
tysm ur actully the best i was asking my friends how to fix it it was lagging but everyone was ignoring me but i found u and ur vid was useful pls keep it up!!!!
Please be mindful of your GPU temperatures when playing at high FPS. If you're getting close to 90c you will want to back off or cap your framerate so the GPU doesn't throttle your performance. High temps can also cause your PC to restart or shutdown.
Can you make an undervolting guide please? There’s other people who have made them, however, judging by all of the clear and easy to follow tutorials on your channel I would much rather it from you. Keep it up man, definitely the best explainer on UA-cam!

I have always disabled full screen optimizations in every game I play because it makes the world of difference, but I never put the "override high dpi scaling" because if i tick that the mouse feels off and hard to aim with... what does that do

Linus tech tips did a lab test and showed higher refresh rates objectively make people play better
