Welcome to the fifth instalment of Project Profit, a series that we're on a mission to turn thrifted finds into funds for charitable causes. So far, we've raised $1262.82 through flipping second-hand items. With the festive season approaching, Rachael ventures into upcycling and crafting DIY Christmas ornaments to sell at a local market as a contribution to this series. In this video, she dives into how to make 4 unique Christmas ornaments that you can make yourself!
All proceeds from this sale were donated to the Red Door Family Shelter. Red Door is a local shelter that provides support for women and children affected by domestic abuse, families experience housing crisis's and refugees who feel like they have no where else to turn. Check them out and consider donating to their cause : www.reddoorshelter.ca
Also a big thanks to the Sunday Variety Market, you can check them out at this link here : sundayvariety.com

Rochelle is the true creative genius of the lot. She deserves more screen time.
I'd love to see what she can do with some nicer quality wood. her woodworking skills are amazing
@@joyl.7970if she complimented one of them, it doesnt mean that she brought others down.... like what.
I actually really like it when she’s in a supporting role to any of the other 3 sorry girls! Don’t know why but I feel like that’s when she shines
I know right? That till was incredible! Put the process of her making it in the video, or another video uploaded separately! That’s good content right there, don’t waste her genius!
I think ppl are getting Rachael and Rochelle confused because of the names.
The one in the Intro is Rachael.
Ok but rochelle thanking the trees is such a tender moment ❤
So so sweet
Rochelle needs to make and sell those tills for other people doing markets! They look so professional!
I would buy one!
I'm not selling anything and I still want a tutorial. It looked amazing
I want to buy one now! :)
Do you have the dimensions for the till?
There is so much to love in this one video! We have Rachel and Rochelle teaming up - giving OG Sorry Girls vibes! We have charming ornament tutorials. And best of all, we have money being raised money for families in crisis. Congratulations ladies! 🎄🌟❄️🎁
Watched this while prepping for my own holiday market! I think we seriously need a tutorial on that register Rochelle made, it was a work of art!!
That register was beautiful!
Yes… she could be selling those for sure…!
Rochelle is (all the positive superlatives there are in the dictionary). OMG. She and Graham of Team AG are my absolute favourites. Amazing work, ladies!
I love Graham too.
Same here!
Yeah I feel like The Sorry Girls and Team AG should have a face off. Or a TV Show together. Or maybe Rochelle and Graham should haha
i LOVE the market booth profit for charity idea! Would love to see this as a series for all the seasons...especially with that amazingly made till by Rochelle! You guys are awesome!
yeah, the till was unbelievable. i didn't expect that at all.
neither did we, the way we GASPED when we saw it in office @@sazennonumber
Those tills could be a product on their own!
@@TheSorryGirlsI hope you guys upload a video of her making it!
Would LOVE for a tutorial on the till omg!!! My favorite part
I actually like both of these gals better when theyre working together - makes me feel like this is what I used to like about the channel was the duo aspect.. hope this continues as i think it serves the brand.
I love everything about this series. The inspiration is amazing and I love the profits going to charities.
Not only are all the ornaments gorgeous and the cause amazing, but I love that you added a "filming in progress" warning to the sign! I've worked retail for years and have been filmed without my consent so many times. (Especially bad working at Nespresso.) It's such a kind and respectful gesture!
The SG editors rarely get mentions in the comment section so I'd like to say beautiful job on the loveliest christmassy music choices (and the impeccable work as usual of course). The music really gave me my first truly festive feelins this year.
Thank you for your generosity! I volunteer with a non profit organization, rely solely on donations that provide personal essential items that food stamps do not cover (TP, PT, feminine hygiene products, baby products and more). When someone generously donates money to buy products or donates products in general, it is such a blessing. The world has gone sideways and the needs are even more greater. Doing this shows your true heart!
Again! Thank you!
Honestly the thoughtfulness and effort behind these Project Pofit episodes is moving
omg the POV: you're not included in the silent dance party actually made me cackle out loud. editing on point as always hahahah
ETA: oh my gOD ROCHELLE'S CASH BOX IS PHENOMENAL!!!! she thought of everything!! please tell me the process was at least photographed for when i finally decide to take up wood working haha
The Icarly “Radom Dancing” reference 🤌🏻
iykyk
As someone whose been a TSG girly for years now; I wasn’t sure about adding new faces but the love I have for Rochelle?! She was always a sorry girl ❤
I know the video just started(for me) but I NEED your blouse and sweater! 🤩
**social media manager frantically trying to get all the outfit details from rach***
Me too!
Me too please
Isn't it gorgeous?! I'm on day 3 of learning how to crochet and I'm still on learning how to chain stitches, but my goal is to be able to make myself sweaters like hers 😍 I just bought one from Kotn and it made me do a *thatcosthowmuuuch* 😂 but I had to have a quality cozy knit sweater this winter. East Coast Canadian winters are brutal on the rock lol
Edit: omg I even just made an order of yarn in so many of the same colours, just throw some darker shades of pink and brown in with it
@@TheSorryGirlsbest social media manager EVERRRRR!! 😂 Thank you! You’re a real one! ☝️
Welp, I said I wasn't going to make more ornaments this year but this changed my mind lol
Also, I really need the crop multicolored sweater 💗
hahah you can also gift homemade ornaments to friends if you already have too many...at least thats what I tell myself 😅
Yes! That sweater is awesome
gotta love Rochelle vibin while working
This video is everything one could dream in a Sorry Girls videos! Easy DIY, teamwork, Christmas vibes and raising money involving the local community for charity! Absolutely adore this series Rachel ❤
Requesting a tutorial on Rochelle’s awesome checkout station that she made! Great video!
Fantastic to see genuine charity donaters who actually do as they say instead of ripping charities and the public off. Well done girls I'm so proud of you
I am an artist who sells at markets, and that till is the most stunning thing i have ever seen! Great job on everything, but that till... a vendors DREAM.
Great video. Would also love to see a tutorial on how Rochelle built that wood checkout setup!!
I wish I could hit like on this video a thousand times over! Absolutely loved it.
The cause, the creativity, the Rach-Roch dynamic❤
LOVE those ornaments. Also LOVE LOVE LOVE that till Rochelle. Please show us how you made it. x
rochelle’s till is crazy!! she’s so talented!!!
That register that Rochelle made is BEAUTIFUL! I have no use for a register, but why do I want one!
LOVE this! The gnomes are so cute. I want to make some. The dried flower ornaments was such a cool idea and so pretty. Rochelle rocked that cash register! Great job guys and great cause guys!. Crying. Hi Danny, I love you. 🥰
I have to comment on this one! I watch this channel all the time but I never actually attempt any of the crafts. The gnomes were way too cute not to try and it came out amazingly well!! Thank you for making such approachable crafts for even the most uncraftable people. These were brilliant and came out looking great! Congrats on your sales for the charity! This was such a good idea for a video!
Loved this video!!! ❤
Everyone on the Sorry Girls team are so talented and creative. Your mind 😮
I can’t believe Rochelle put together that cash register. What a boss!!
she NEVER ceases to amaze us
People are very generous when it comes to buying for charity ... its like a double good feeling!
Rachel you are doing such a wonderful job with these projects for charity. So glad that Rochelle is there too. Here register is just the most beautiful yet functional piece of wood.
Okay, I'm excited to finish watching the video, but I had to come right away and tell Rachel that her outfit at the beginning is amazeballs! I love that sweater and the shirt underneath is chef's kiss!
Yay!! It's the Rachel and Rochelle show! The ornaments are gorgeous, ladies!!♥ And the till-- it's genius....What a great way to raise money for charity; you guys ROCK!!
These are some of my favorite episodes! I'm always blown away! I can't believe the ornaments were so profitable though but it makes sense I often don't think twice about shopping for ornaments ☺️ they get used year after year
Compared to her first video, you can tell Rachael has developed a lot in the video, her expression, her speech, etc overall are great. Good job, Rachael!
I really hope that beautiful till will have its own video! Great job everyone.
Really nice ornaments! I really liked the clear round ones with the natural materials inside & of course the gnomes! Wow! What a nice profit! Great job! ❤️
Everything she does from scrap becomes elegant and effortless like her. Love her
Found myself tearing up at this video. So sweet to see the closeness of the team, the mission, the passion. All just so wholesome and beautiful and grateful to watch content that genuinely brightens my day up! Thank you TSG❤️
I love the editing on this video!!! So fun and making me so excited for making my own Christmas ornaments!!! Love the cute DIYs!!!!!
Everyone looked so nicely dressed at the market! You all really did look like a complete, full package business! I would've assumed you guys did this every Sunday, if I didn't know better, aha. I loved the big white bow in your hair. It's nice to see someone else loves to use ribbon to accessorize. :)
EVERY time I watch any of your episodes I think, this is my favorite sorry girl or this is my favorite series, BUT……..in reality ALL of you and ALL of your series combined is simply the BEST❣️ Loving what you did here, as usual😘🥰
Not only do I love the Sorry Girls for always thinking about sustainability in design and decor with thrifting, but then this series that is not just thrift flipping to turn a profit but do something for local charities, it’s just *chefs kiss. THEN you have amazing WOMEN. All four of you, plus of course the whole BTS team. It’s just so awesome to watch every week. Thank you for continuing to showcase how much reusing and repurposing can be beautiful.
Beautiful ornaments.😍 And that cash counter setup just blew my mind!
The thought of all that money going to help those families and refugees made me choke up, especially with what’s happening in Palestine, I hope the families you helped find some joy and hope ❤ thank you
I usually stick my finger in the hole and it gives me the best control when painting the spheres ❤ I thoroughly enjoyed this video thanks for sharing 🎉
This saga is amazing 🤩
As always, inspiring. Please keep this series going.
Those yarn gnomes are adorable!!
Well done, Rachel and Rochelle! I'm inspired to make the gnomes. Rochelle's till is absolutely fantastic!
Absolutely loving this series! I very much feel the stress of christmas decor making on a time crunch. I work at a local Charity shop here in the UK and I've been tasked with making like 50 handmade gift Hampers for an upcoming Christmas Sale Fair. Thank you for some amazing ideas 💡 ❤️
Oh my goodness, what a joyful video!!!!!!!! I love this so much 😍😍
It was so fun to see you guys in person!! I love the ornaments I bought, and it feels so good knowing it’s going towards a great cause ❤️❤️
I love EVERYTHING about this video!!! ❤
I made about 20 of those gnome ornaments last christmas and handed them out. They were a huge hit with everybody. Also used up a lot of leftover yarn!!
You ladies are a breath of fresh air. love the humour and the crafts
Love your videos and the humor that is injected. So fun. The ornaments were beautiful! Such great ideas. Btw your voice is very soothing which adds to the enjoyment of watching your vids. Have a great week!
Nonprofit idea: Ringtail Ranch Lemur Rescue in Lubbock, TX. I know it's a long way from Canada, but they could really use the support and publicity. It's a small sanctuary for surrendered lemurs and other exotic animals - 40 lemurs and counting. I'm actually making your gnomes and pom-pom garlands to raise money for the rescue at holiday markets this month, so thank you for the inspiration! The videos and tutorials are excellent! (Especially coming from a hot glue fanatic who can't crochet or sew lol. The gnomes are a godsend!)
LOVE the plaid hooded cardigan rochelle was wearing at the end of filming at the market.
This truly is my favorite series on this channel. We love Rachel!
This project profit series is my favorite!
Rochelle I would love a tutorial or plans for the “cash register” for my sons school!!!
Hi Jacqie🌹🌹
How are you doing?
WOW I am so inspired to make ornaments now! 😍
that till is EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!
So, so adorable. It's Christmas day and I'm home alone, sick. I have tons of yarn and an empty paper towel roll. I know what I'm doing today.🎄
Y'all do good in the world, plus you make it cuter and prettier with what you create ❤️
Living for a Sorry Girls pop-up shop! I hope that's something you can do more of, it's so cool!
I actually love the painted ornaments before the gold. 😍
That till is absolutely mind blowing dude, Incredible work!
Rochelle is da best! Those ornaments were beautiful!
Loved seeing your home. Husband and I also getting settled in our home. 🙂 lots to learn and grateful to God
We need a tutorial of the register! Love it! Well done!
Hi Anne🌹 🌹
How are you doing?
Okay the ornaments are fun and cute, but Rochelle's wooden register is ART!
I think it's so wonderful what you are doing to help people less fortunate! Sending you hugs!
They look like giant pearls!! 😊
That checkout system!! Amazing! As a small business owner i would love something like this!
The ornaments are so good. Great ideas.
I love this series and all you are doing for these charities.
I loved the dried flowers in the glass ornaments!!!! So cute and vibey and cheap :))
Now this is what the Christmas Season is all about. You girls are the best !!! ❤️🥰❤️🥰
That till is a work of art!! Wow 🤩

Rachel, you and Rochelle are the dream team, ya'll knocked it out of the park!
Aww RANDOM DANCING - such nostalgia!
Hi Emma🌹 🌹
How are you doing?
Brilliant episode! I love the charitable theme of this series. Times are so tough right now, and that means donations are down for charities and need is up. I’d love the see this series be a year round one. Bravo!👏👏👏
really enjoyed the dance break :D
This was cool I loved the collab with rochelle . And what a great profit .
Rochelle, can you pleaaaase do a DIY on the checkout desk cashier situation? Me as a small store owner would love to make something like that! 😍
seeing you donate all the proceeds warms my soul!!!! Rachel and Rochelle together are sooooo fun
Those gnomes are so stinkin' cute!!! And the random dancing....love it!
I'm genuinely surprised by how much you earned on the market. Great job, girls!
Also, hope it's okay to say, but you looked ADORABLE in white and with that big bow. Love the look!
I sent this video to my Grandma. Every year she makes those little hats as ornaments. She will love the couple extra steps to make them gnomes.
Beautiful ornaments!! I love this series, it's awesome that you are doing this for charity 💕
Love everything! But that sorry sweater garland! So cuteeee!!!
The yarn "hula skirt" for the gnome ornament 😂 would look so cute as a boho napkin ring, cute as is or even add some beads and do a lil macarme action
