Every time when i hear it i imagine giant hordes of scythians coming with boats, and hurling across the land, marching with giants spears and then when the allegro part , with violines comes then they start they march with the horse cavaliers,awesome

I first heard this as a kid. My dad had Eugene Ormandy's version with the Philadelphia Orchestra, which I liked, but this one is good too.

Grandios. Jemand bezeichnete den Stil dieser Suite mal als grotesk was glaube ich gut passt. Der Streicherpart bei 0:55 ist sehr spannend und die freche Melodik ab 1:17
