I am not understanding one part. Once you have done the natural log transformation, you get the graphical example of new data, but how that transforms to the dataset we are using for a regression analysis? Yes, my data is showing a little lack of normality and I do the same thing as you have done, but I don't know how you change your data set to be normal and use it for further regression analysis. Please go to transform menu-> compute variable in spss. Use Ln function in spss and create the new log transformed variable. This new variable has to be used as the dependent variable for analysis
