Thanks for your video it helped
You're so very welcome Alejandro, we love creating these videos so I'm glad you've found one valuable.
Ryan, nice job on this video.
Thanks Kevin!!
I don’t know how accurate this is. I watched a video where this lady said if subs didn’t have workers comp, they can sign a waiver where they agree to not make “x” company responsible for any injuries should they occur.
Is that even true? If so, how does that work?
Great question. You can have people sign whatever you want, it doesn't mean that liability transfer will hold up in court or that your states Department of Worker's Compensation will accept such a waiver in exchange for worker's comp premiums. It sounds like you're describing a hold harmless agreement. I'd talk to an attorney in your state and get worker's comp in the meantime... You are leaving your business exposed overwise.
Hey! My dad recently quit his painting job to open his own painting company, his ex boss recently contacted him he wants to hire his as a subcontractor! What are some questions or concerns my dad should have in mind ??
He left for a reason … I wouldn’t go back ahaha
I have been asked by a property management company to provide workers comp proof. Ive reached out to my agent but their quotes for a business making 80k a year plus i dont have payroll so they didnt want to move forward with it. What can i do? I dont have employees either.

So a liability insurance policy will not replace the workers compensation exemption ??
Great question, but no. Liability insurance and workers' comp insurance are two different policies. Your subcontractor having liability insurance takes some of the liability exposure off your business... however, it does not waive your responsibility to workers comp. They need to have both... Does that make sense?
I feel like this is a big scam. Get a ghost policy doesn't cover me. I feel extorted by this system.
Sounds like more of a advertisement
This is reazon why nobody want work today everyone looking for easy money with insurance complaints
Hi I'm not sure what you mean?
