I got so hungry watching that food cook! Food tastes better when cooked out in the woods like you cooked yours. A little less flame and you would have been golden, but you knew that. Thanks for showing the BR knives. I am a big BR fan.
I have the Bravo 1.25 in CPM-3V that I love to take outdoors, camping and bushcrafting. The edge retention on it is amazing. And all I’ve ever have to do to get the edge back to razor sharp when the time comes is, literally 30-45 seconds on a strop.
+Vincent V I have wondered how the ULB is, I love this knife...I think my 3 knife combo is one of the best for where I live. Bravo survivor in 3v, bushcrafter in 3v, and JX6 in cpm 154. Love me some Bark River.
Hi. This is the first time I’ve seen the CTec handles. I haven’t seen them on any other channels. I have to say they are fantastic looking. If I had a knife made, I would order CTec for sure. Enjoying your channel.
Very entertaining, if we ever go camping -I will do the cooking, we will both be glad I did. I just ordered bark river wilderness explorer and bravo necker.
Nice vid bro. I have always liked the bushcrafter but always shied away from it because I like a good "finger gaurd" in the handle, like the Bravo1. You didn't seem to have a problem with it. Now I might start looking at the bushcrafter a little closer.
+NikiSIGX5 This is on some land that a family member of mine owns...he lets me use it as my own which I am very lucky to have. It borders 300+ acres of state land so I can get away from civilization lol.
I found mine was not real usable , thick blade stock and short bevel feathered about as poorly as the one you have. I sent it in for the treatment that they so kindly provide and had the bevel raised up. Still as strong as ever and more slicey.
23:10 I was really afraid you were going to accidentally baton the handle on your cup and launch boiling water on yourself... was probably camera perspective mostly. Great vid by the way, hard to beat a Barkie for woods work.
Oh lol I believe you, i'm pretty sure the camera angle just made it look closer than it was... made it look like while batoning your baton could hit the handle of your cup. Cheers!
Which 3, I have 5 with a 6th arriving monday. My survivor is at BRK getting a spa and ramp removed, Kephart, mini Kephart, JX6, a trakker, and an Aurora 2 on the way. Its a disease. So much fun to trade though once you have a few.
Up to 42 now. You guys are lacking , lol. Yup , nice knives for sure. I'm a huge bravo fan myself. 3V is awesome , and the A2 is no slouch either and easier to sharpen.
Just a question. Is there a reason you make your feathers so small? I mean obviously it seems to work, I’m just not sure why, when you can run them the whole length of the stick for bigger more combustible feathers. Not being a dick, just curious.
I would say that micarta or g10 would be more sturdy because they are solid and this has sections. That being said...i have had no issues with any of my knives with this handle material.
It's 80crv2 carbon steel as well,I'm waiting to order me a bark river bravo alpha exclusive special order with black Lenin micarta handle scales, then I'm getting me a skrama soon as my big chopper bush knife to substitute like a hatchet, it's a no bullshit knife, at least that's the moto in Finland.
Say Heah Lanky, Yeah, Bark River Knives Rock. Infact, when I use to be a 3-4Knife carry, I ordered the Woodland Special, Bravo 1, Bravo 2, and the Golok, I got a good price from D. L. T. because they were in the Ghost Green Jade G-10, and all in A2, I guess that handle color wasn't that popular. But I like it. Infact the Bravo 2 isn't listed anymore. But I was so impressed with the Bravo 1, I ordered (2) in 3V. I also got the Bravo 1.5 in 3V but all three are in the Black G-10 handles. You did good, Thanx for sharing, Dilly Dilly.,,.p
@@TheLankyWoodsman but we have other means to light the fire,,those tactics are only valuable when all other means are off the table, what about the fatwood, pine tar,and birchbark, just wondering ,these are better that waisting your time when it's obvious it's cold out, hyperthermia the real issue wasting time on feather sticks is b*******
I agree, but people want to know things about the knife...if i were in a survival situation I would have a damn lighter. Just showing the abilities of each knife with different edge geometry.
+Dragan Matekalo nope, that was one of my first tines doing it...totally me. Im just learning. I know about all the blades and the steel and that they look pretty but I am just learning the skills
I absolutely love mine! I see why they've sold so many of them now. What a great knife!
agreed, i made this mistake of selling mine to fun another...its an endless cycle.

I just bought the Bushcrafter II in 3V and black C-Tec and mosaic pins. Your knife is beautiful. Looking forward to getting mine.
Great knives and awesome food cook out. Thanks for the vid brother!
Thank you friend for your support!

I agree, i have also come to love their knives in cpm 154.
Yes,always strope
Lighting was awesome dude, nice video. I have a bushcrafter 2 paired with an ultralight bushcrafter. Love them both.

TheLankyWoodsman Same here dude i have 6 of them, no wallhangers though. I have the TRC Apocalypse L, its about the same size as the Bravo Survivor.

Great video! Bark River rules
I just got one of these. I like it a lot so far but I haven't had much of a chance to use it yet. But so far so good. Yours is very pretty.
Very entertaining, if we ever go camping -I will do the cooking, we will both be glad I did. I just ordered bark river wilderness explorer and bravo necker.
Nice knife, I have a puukko knife from terava jaakaripukko from Finland, 5.5 Inch blade, full tang with a scandi grind, nice sheath for it too.
I have that knife too. Great knife. Which one do you have? I have the 110. I also have the Skrama, which is great
Beautiful Knife & Awesome video 👍
Sick intro! Never liked the Ctek handle on internet pics but looks good live. Thanks for posting

+Mark Sage its a great all around knife, and very well built. Thanks for watching!
the lighting it's great. looks crisp and clear on my Moto Z force
+Jensen Azotea excellent, thanks for watching
Where was this at? That knife looks awesome. I'm not a camper but your videos make me want to get into camping. Thanks.

STUPENDO,COMPLIMENTI👍👍👍
Also best wishes on the new chapter in your life... STAY STRONG
Alive & Kicking thank you, doing my best at staying strong. make sure you are subbed, we only need 12 more to get to the 200 sub give away

Not sure what spot that is without looking, but I assure you I am quite safe at camp and it probably was just the angle...thanks for watching!

Love the black C-tek
Thanks for sharing 👍
Good vid!
Beatiful!! PEACE :-)
Thank you friend
Bark River Yea got three love them

I got the same titanium fork spoon 👍
It works well, and weighs nothing. Thanks for watching and all the comments!
What handle is that looks beautiful
Black c-tek

nope, no reason at all...I will try that the next time i can actually get out and find some wood that isn't completely frozen. Thanks!
Where can I find a knife with same handle material as this one as well as the same knife???
Knivesshipfree.com or dlttrading.com
@@TheLankyWoodsman hey i wanna ask if the handle is sturdy? Is it better than micarta and g10?

Hey brother, what part of the country are you from?
Central NY
Cool. I was hoping you were maybe closer to MA. I was gonna say we could meet up for a bushcraft hike sometime. =)
Still might be cool to check out, its nice to see different areas.
Well certainly feel free to contact me if you ever find yourself in MA. I'd be happy to head into the woods with ya!
Is this the bushcrafter 1 of the 2?
1
No offense but your angle on the ferro rod is why it wasn’t working

Feather shit is a waist of time, what is it about that,I'm listening, there is pine trees all around you,I don't understand stand.
Its a way to get thin pieces that will take a spark without any other fuel. This knife was not great at it. Just doing the tests people find useful.
