ASMR - Below the Surface. Spine Shivering Ear-to-Ear Triggers From Buried Binaural Mics. SLEEP TIME!

- I don't know if anything like this has been done before but I am playing around with different ASMR ideas that I've had. The previous video, "ASMR Tingle Tray" was quite novel but this one is way better! I've only used 5 triggers but they're long and extended and each trigger could have easily been made into a video on it's own. I've called this one, "ASMR Beneath the Surface" beauce I've put 'directional mic capsule' below the surface of each scene, buried inside the boxes. The directional nature of these mics makes the ear-to-ear panning really good. I think the sounds in this video are some real spine shivering, melatonin inducing, brain melting ASMR! I'm really enjoying this experimental phase .

There’s such a delicacy of sound here, 37:06 where I can feel it shifting from one side to the other with a clarity that’s rarer to find with so many fast, brief triggers. The chaos of sound is much better when it’s slowed down to a speed at which it can be fully appreciated. This would just be way too much if you were moving any faster or any firmer. 🎉 Well-mastered, friend. 🫶🏻💪🏻
@lukarium such an eloquent comment about a sweeping moment of my ASMR. Thank you for taking time to describe your thoughts. A single sound may only last a few seconds in a video but to me it's still a vivid memory. Setting up the scene and editing takes time but it's recording that remember.
This scene you describe, the chaos is real. The entropy of a billion seeds all moving down with force on to delicate mic capsules. It's difficult to control. One hasty move, one extra gram of pressure and the mics could clip. Keeping a constant force and steady momentum with one, continuous movement...... it takes concentration and sticks in these old memory banks ❤

What I really like about your asmr is that you do the sounds often rythmically. It adds to the relaxation and sets your content apart from other peoples contents. I always come back to your videos for your style of asmr 😄
Ahhh, yeah I sometimes just fall into a rhythm. For example the hands in the rainbow balls in this video when I heard that they sound like waves gently rolling over gravel I just went with it. I like it when I find sounds like that 🥰
I just can’t not appreciate the amount of time and effort you put into this. Even in the description the titles for each timestamp. It really makes a viewer feel cared for and gives us a sense of like…loyalty i guess? Idk what word to use but like this is just so much appreciated. ❤

Very different from the previous one and also fantastic. A big compliment for the fact that the themes were also very well chosen in terms of color and the same shades were never used one after the other. Very relaxing and visually appealing. You show that this can also be done differently: not just with fingernails and fancy clothes.
Yeah, I'm just experimenting with ASMR, I'm new at it, so finding my favourite style and enjoying it as I go.
There's no shortage of girls with nice nails tapping. Some of them are really amazing. It's a sound I simply can't achieve, but my wife and daughters might help with this style as it'll help grow the channel 🥰
Meanwhile, I'll keep doing my own different style and hopefully you'll stay to enjoy 🥰

Very bass sounding, hard to capture properly as I needed to cover the mic capsules with a waterproof layer. I'm going to try these again, but next time I'll just drain the water first 🥰🥰

Immediately one of my favourite ASMR videos. Well executed idea, very original triggers and interesting enough variations with the different tools running through the balls/grain/scratches. The length of each variation is just right to keep you hooked but not too alert that you can’t sleep. I will keep coming back to this one!!!!

Yeah, I get what you're saying. ASMR has been taken over by whisperers and it's not my cup of tea. I can see why people like it, and some are really, really good at it, but to me, they're all very similar. Fair enough if they had something interesting to whisper about, but they don't 🥰
I prefer no talking ASMR with lots of long, deep and spine shivering sounds. That's what I'm doing on this channel. I've considered making a whispering video, but if I ever did then I'd have something to say.

I really liked recording that scene. I could have kept that sound going and going, it was actually super relaxing to record it too. I often listen to this video to fall asleep to and I don't usually make it past that scene 🥰

This is a very soothing video. Hopefully this little video will give you some well deserved chill time after what sounded like a stressful and extended study period. 11:54 is a really nice, soothing sound. There's a lot of really good sounds in this video. I'm thinking of trying some videos where there's just one trigger for the full length. Those rainbow balls for example could easily justify a feature length video 🥰

Yeah, there's a few sounds in this video that sound stormy, rainy, windy type sounds. Even some that sound surfy. I've got lots of ideas for this style in the future too 🥰

Shure make good mics, the MV88 is good for ASMR stereo recordings. I take it you're using it on an iPhone? Personally I use externsl sound recorders like Zoom and Tascam with XLR mics. I prefer the range of choice and the adaptability for different setups ❤️

I've had many businesses in life, and so far, this UA-cam channel is the least lucrative by FAR. It makes basically nothing at time moment. I can see why people quit, but I'm not for throwing in the towel just yet. The only way to progress is to move forward, and that's what I intend to do. Move forward with more content and improve as much as possible 🥰

A blank space for those that need it
I personally use blank space to help calm my adhd brain. Less distractions, quicker to fall asleep.
This is actually something I plan on trying. I seen an ASMR channel recently where the guy does close up inaudible whispering but he has a blank space for about half of the video. It was popular so I was thinking of trying it...... but wouldn't that be what Spotify ASMR is for?

Which trigger have you never heard before? Jut generally all of the below the surface type triggers? If so then yeah, I thought they sounded awesome too and would love to make another of these videos. As for the tingles you get from my audio and what I do different - I just don't use the software to "normalise" volume. I do it all manually 🥰❤️

It sounds like you've not made it past the first part of the video as there are 5 mediums 🥰❤️ The video is about 'mics below the surface' of each medium. The first is the colourful poly balls, then it's a box of seeds, then it's the red gelballs, followed by sawdust and then finally the mics below "shakin' steven". It would be good to make more of these though, I really liked how this one sounded too ❤️

I just thought, why not put the mics inside things and see what they sound like. Those uni-directional capsules were perfect for it and the sounds came out pretty chill. Yeah, I record and edit everything myself, I'm blessed with a bit of spare time so I'm able to do it. The editing is the longest part and if this channel ever grows then the first thing I'll do is find an editor. If I had someone editing then I could be recording a lot more content. Unfortunately, it's just auld me until such times as the channel grows ❤️

I think you would have thousands upon thousands of subscribers/followers...the problem is you're so good at this you put them to sleep before they can click the button!!! The visual with all of the moving parts coupled with the sound at the beginning is simply 🤌 ❤!

I always thought it was the algorithm that had crashed out when it tried to analyse my videos but your theory is better 🥰 As for this video, you're the first to mention the moving parts. It's one of the things I liked most about this video. If you concentrate on the moving balls and seeds then it's super soothing and guaranteed to cure insomnia. Try picking one of the balls, keeping your eyes focused on it, try to track it through the full scene ❤️
