Unfortunately, everything that could go wrong has happened to my RV. 18D. Probably would help if I had had a partner. Engine issues MB is crap, Def, refrigerator did not work, needed sway bars & shocks. Battery issues, backup camera quit working, awning wire issue…..exhaust system fell on highway driving down interstate & lodged between duallies. Nothing was bolted down properly. Check & inspect all that. I’ve put out a lot of $$$$. Glad you all have had a different experience.
Oh no, I'm so sorry to hear this! We keep having issues too...the head unit just died so no radio or backup camera. Ugh. Hope things get better for you!
The Winnebago View 24v or the Itasca Navion 24v is the best designed class c rv that I’ve seen. Best mpg, sleep accommodations and overall design. It’s what I’m going to get someday soon.
My wife and I really enjoyed your video walk through. Thank you We are buying a 24J while I am writing this. We wanted to buy in the off season to get the best deal. We have done a lot of research and found the Navion to be one of the best on the market.
Hi- my brother Paul is a friend of yours and told me to loom you up. We have a 2007 View and live in San Diego. Look us up when you come out here. Carl
@@adventuresofkbp6823 That's great. Coincidentally, we store our 2007 View in the covered storage at Santee Lakes. Would love to see you and trade notes / stories. We live just 15 minutes away. Maybe we can do a dinner. I'll see if I can somehow private message you my cell phone number.
I am looking to purchase a 2017. I’m concerned about the diesel engine. Since it’s a Mercedes, is it a lot more expensive than a gasoline engine and have you had any problems with it being a diesel. Thank you.
We bought a used 2015V in 2020 with 40k miles, and it's now at 82k miles. Most of those miles were towing a car. The previous owner also towed a car. The engine has been fine. We do basic maintenance like oil changes, etc. The only issue so far has been wheel speed sensors, which have now been replaced under warranty, so hopefully, the new ones won't fail. The engine has been solid so far.
Looking to purchase my 1st RV, and this is on my top choice list. I like how you throw in tips, like the the spring rods in the fridge. Do you prefer diesel to gas engine? I have never owned a diesel. Are slide-outs a hassle? I wasn't sure if I wanted one. Great review!
It's our first RV as well and we've been happy with diesel, although not every gas station has it, so that can be a hassle. We were also worried about the slide out, but it has been really easy to use, no issues. 😀
We've not tried that one. We like the V because the bed can be a king or 2 long twins. We keep it as twins and keep a tray between us for drinks, cpap, etc. Also our beds are always ready...no slide needed to use them.
Thank you, we have a few easy improvements we made coming up in our next video. We are wrapping up a 3 month trip now. If you have any questions let us know. :)
@@adventuresofkbp6823 We bought a 2016 NV Profile (no overhead bunk) last summer with the same exterior color (don't see many)! You review help make our decision on the "V". We're still waiting on the Covid vaccine to get out on long trips.
@@piniped That's awesome! Thanks for letting us know. 😀 We spent 116 nights in ours last year and still think we made a great decision. We're hanging low right now as well but hope to be back on the road soon!
@@adventuresofkbp6823We also joined the View/Navion FB group since... can't wait to get out there really camping... Beautiful critters.
Thanks Corey, the HWH jacks are AWESOME! Yes, I've pulled the tire change tools out to make certain everything is ready if needed. I've also reviewed the instructions to drop the spare down but have not tried it yet. We also have, "Coachnet" which is highly rated. The 17V is a great coach! We will have a "How To" maintenance video coming out soon. Cheers!

Excellent walkthrough, thank you. What kind of mileage are you getting, I'm looking at a 24g.
Thanks! We get 15 mpg without towing a car. When we tow, we get an average of 12.5 mpg.

Was that Santos bike trail in Ocala FL?
Yeah, dropping into Papa Bear at Santos in the intro. Great place to mountain bike!! :)
Can you tell me more about the scan gauge. Where can I get one? What data does it show? We just bought a Navion 24G. Thanks.
Hey Nick, the previous owner installed it. You can customize what it shows while you drive. It's nice for reading codes on check engine lights.

Hi, thank you for the detailed review. I am looking to purchase something similar. Could you tell me what's your MPG .
Hey Julio, we get 14-15 mpg on average if we don't tow the car. We average 12.5 mpg when we tow.
I love this rv thank you for showing it so awesome I want
There are definitely some deals out there. We bought ours used last year so it was 5 years old...
What year is this?
The RV is 2015 that we bought used in 2020. 😀
Its a year later that I’m viewing this tour. Are you still satisfied with your choice? Tks
Aurora Nite Yes, we are very happy with the Navion and plan to do a long term review soon.
I really this one 😶need to know the price
Oscar, bought this used 2015 Navion for $65k in January 2020 BEFORE COVID.
Looking at the 24d, really like the Murphy bed, any thoughts ? Thanks

Thanks, a good overall review.
Thanks. Let us know if there is anything in particular you would like to see in the future!

Did you get the Beddy’s twin or twin XL?
Twin extra long I think.
Nice looking video. What was your average mileage?
Thanks! We get around 14-15 mpg without a tow vehicle. We get around 12-13 mpg pulling our 2013 Honda Fit.
all you need now is thousandtrails
So nice! Bet you guys are going crazy since you'd probably be OTW out here right now :(
You got that right. Actually, we would already be there. :(
is it diesel and is the engine loud
It is diesel and not very loud. Loudness is subjective so definitely go for a test ride!
Needs more cowbell...
As part of the shower scene?
What couldn't use more cowbell?
