First time bald eagle mom Lotus has really taken to caring for her eggs. The purpose for rolling the eggs is to make sure the yolk doesn't rise to the egg wall and potentially cause developing blood vessels to stick there which would be most assuredly fatal for the young eaglet.

Lotus then known as V5 (visitor #5) ran TFL off and she hasn't been seen since. You can go to HDonTap website and this nest on there and post screenshots
Yes, it is somewhat unusual, at least as far as the nests with webcams. If one of the pair of adults dies, then you would see a new partner after awhile or the next season, but in this case the First Lady was occasionally seen with Mr. President at the end of the winter last year, before egg season.
