Portland, JAMAICA in the Building!!!
Nice reviews! Show more selfies please. Samsung 24 Ultra AI is amazing this year
Been an iphone user for 8 years, then became an andriod user for 5 years now (3 years on pixel). Still lovin my pixel 7 pro. 7 years of updates is one thing, but whether the phone can last that long would be interesting to see how obsolete the hardware by then.
Tensor will show its age in 2-3 years! Tbh my Snapdragon 865 is still incredibly fast on my OnePlus 8 so Tensor G3 shouldn't be an issue!
Tensor g3 has enough power to last 5 -6 years the last year will be sluggish
Was an iPhone user for years. I tested other devices a lot but my main phone was always iPhone. Pixel 8 changed that! Returned my 15 pro and couldn't be happier with 8 pro
Hows battery?
The pixel 8 pro and iPhone 15 pro is actually a good match in terms of price since they both start at 999$
After owning pixel 8 pro and iphone 15 pro max , i settled with the pixel , so refreshing and for me actually made my iphone seem stale and lacking in new design features.
Same case here, my iPhone 15 just lacks in almost everything my Pixel 8 does, and I’ve used iPhones since the 4. I refunded the 15 after 2 weeks xd
If I had to choose one it would be the pixel 8 pro
Top review as always 👍
I left the pixel series after the 2xl for Samsung. Was not a fan of any of the pixel models until the 8pro. Upgraded from my s22 ultra. It's good to be back! The phone is absolutely fantastic.
Look at that ridiculous huge cutout. Would you buy a TV with a chunk missing?
Nice! I was waiting for this comparison!
The Pixel audio sounds fuller on the speaker side I own the Pixel 8 pro and love it I don't do a lot of gaming so eh
Making the switch to android after a decade of using iPhones. iPhone loyalty is BS , sick of paying astronomical prices over past few upgrades especially. The brand itself has lost its sheen for me. Was really looking forward to
iPhone 15pro and hoping for a spectacular phone at that price. Going for a pixel 8 pro. Fingers crossed . Your video was very helpful.
Surely you should be comparing the Pixel 8 Pro with the iPhone 15 Pro Max? Otherwise they’re not equivalent.
I like the look of those bellroy cases. I'll have to check those out
10:14 "So on the Pixel, they have a lot more control over the control, customisation, and the overall user experience." Google Photos, Google Maps, Google Assistant are all available on iOS. This is not the case vice versa: iPhone apps are exclusive to iOS. Even the Magic Editor, the new Pixel phones' focus in their advertisement, is available on iOS. The upcoming Bard's incorporation into Google Assistant will also be available on iOS. Meanwhile, Google Photos lets iOS users to save their edited images reversibly but the Pixel users can only save them as "copies" by which taking up additional space on both the cloud and the internal device. Chrome, Google's own browser, now allows iOS users to move the search/toggle bar to bottom of the screen, arguing that "We know people prefer different address bar positions depending on the size of their hands and devices, and we took those preferences into account when building this highly requested feature." It is an interesting statement given that the iPhone comes in basically three sizes now: mini, standard, and Plus/Max. Meanwhile, Android phones really do come in all different sizes and shapes, such as the Pixel Fold. It is evident that Google first and foremost designs its product to iOS users, probably to slowly lure them to Android. Meanwhile, Google's own apps ran on Google's own device running Google's own OS are hugely neglected.
Ummm there are some things I'd like to point out here. I had the iPhone 15 Pro Max for two months and had Google maps, Gboard, Google Photos, Google Keep, Google Assistant and probably some other Google stuff that I'm leaving out. Almost none of it works as well on iPhone as it does on a Pixel. On the iPhone GBoard is horrible, Assistant is practically useless, Google Photos is good but not as good. You don't get best take and other Pixel exclusive features. You can save over edited photos on your Android as well as Save a copy... Oh and while using Google Maps on iPhone, I feel the app took me thru the back roads to get from TN to IN just cause I wasn't using an Android 🤷🏽♂️. Well I showed Google. I marched right onto Swappa, sold my phone and bought a Pixel 8 Pro.
Lol someone seems triggered! Google Apps are actually more optimized still on their own devices vs iOS. Some features are not available thru the iOS version of google apps. And I know you sound die for Apple, but mini doesnt exist anymore buddy. Its been 3 years.
I have both. I love the pixel but I'm afraid I'm going back to using apple.
I find although apple is very predictable, it's so much more reliable.
I have had so many app crashes on the pro 8 and it always comes at such inconvenient times. The keyboard issue was the latest.
I want stuff to work and apple seems to do that. Believe me, I so much wanted it to work with android but it hasn't.
No astrophoto on iPhone though, right?
Waiting for your camera comparison of the iPhone 15 ! Thanks
Pixel 8 camera bar is hideous and the cases make it worse.. Ill take Dynamic island over that any day.
Otterbox makes the camera lip go away... I'm sorry but the iPhone is ugly as s@3!
Been with Apple for about 2 years. This pixel though looks awesome. Want to switch but all my family has Apple. My biggest worry is the stupid I message. If ppl send me vids and pics do I still lose out on quality? Wonder if ever improved? Wish someone did a video on that as well. Might help convince ppl to switch
You won't lose any video or picture quality to and from the Pixel 8 and 8 Pro. There shouldn't be any reason you'll lose out on quality unless the photo itself is poor quality.
@smallbutdeadly931 thank you for the info. Tired of being tied down to Apple good to know it’s not like a few years ago
The pixel is a good phone. I would however take into consideration getting the Samsung s23 ultra. It should be cheaper now,and it honestly has better features than the Pixel.
@@smallbutdeadly931
Yes you will when you receive them via MMS.
Apple is allowing RCS messaging from android next year, which should fix these sharing issues!🎉
hi can the pixel 8 open banking apps and authorize the payment using face recognition just like iphone?
Hi , yes it can . It does a face unlock and then you tap a confirm button, the whole process seems very quick, which is great
Thanks for this I wanted to know that too
My fiance loves the pixels. I am just annoyed that they are still using a bit outdated CPUs vs Apple and Qualcomm. She doesnt notice it at all though.
If you actually try the phone ..you'll see pixel is actually faster and smoother in my opinion
@@baldone45 yeah she likes the performance
Pixel is way better in everything. Raw power of iPhone is higher but it's of no practical use to most of us. Pixel is more relevant in date to say experience with ai stuff, screen quality, user experience, etc etc. And also Android is more flexible and cool looking. It doesn't create unnecessary barriers like iOS. iOS is a waste in today's world
I like them both so I have both of them. The iPhone 15 Pro Max is my personal phone and the Google Pixel 8 Pro is my work phone.
I like the curve of the 15 around the sides but I miss the steel
The white line in the navigation bar is awful on pixel, it should be transparent
Since Android 15 Google will enforce transparent bar and edge-to-edge apps! Finally.
Pixel all day!
For a small youtuber still using their phone to shoot videos, i think the pixel would really be a game changer.
That Dynamic island looks hideous, I don't know how you apple guys deal with this kind of things.
#P8P 💯
great video💯.......the pixel porcelain is clean🔥..
Can anyone explain how I am able to watch this video in PIP, but no other video does that for me? How weird.
Me too, I’m m curious
People never mention that the pixel have wifi 7 in which no other phone have rite now
Google ai is in another class than Siri... AI is the future and apple is severely behind.
Any pixel clear any iPhone
I will always go Android.
Getting 14-16h sot with iphone 15 p max. This is not good.
Pixel 8 pro is definataly better! Especially at cameras. (50mp +48+48 vs 48mp +12+12)
Anyone who buys the pixel will be rushing to upgrade next year or earlier. My experience between the Android and IOS is that you’re not in a rush to upgrade every year with IOS. For whatever reason the IPhone keeps the fresh feeling for longer then any Android phone
You don't need to upgrade with IOS because they rarely have any significant new changes.
the only thing ill say is that the battery comparison was simply not proportional at all, the 15 pro max has essentially a 5000 milli-amp battery as well and gets insane battery life, up to 13 hrs of SOT.....which is considerably better than the pixel
What's definitely missing on pixel, and it's a pity, it's the security iphone offers. The phone blocking and tracking when stolen and turned off is great and important. Also the sensors for the face id
Android phones can be tracked and locked remotely as well if stolen. You can even format the phone remotely. Face id sensors are not needed as all Android phones have Face Unlock and fingerprint sensor which is the best combination. Iphone's pill cutout feels outdated and makes the phone look bad, like a 5 years old design
What do you mean format the phone remotely? Also it's way easier to block an ios than an android, no?@@moldorobert
If you are dark, the pixel selfie camera makes you even darker
That is completely false, the Pixel has the best true tone photos. Don't believe me, go check out Marques Brownlee (MKBHD) blind test and you will see that it's the opposite.
Phone buff did an extensive battery test, and iPhone outlasted it by almost 2 hours. MKHB also named battery on iPhone better, and gave it a better camera rating (and by mrwhostheboss). Speed test, the iPhone 15 pro blows the pixel out of the water with its ram usage and speed using apps (also doubled its benchmark test compared to the pixel with a better chip).MKBH also in a recent video admitted the iPhone is his daily driver. I went from a iPhone pro 11 and tried out a pixel 7 pro for a year just to try it out and in my OPINION the iPhone is just better with a better eco system as well. Now have a 15 pro max since last month. When it comes to the case that "sponsored" your video, you didn't even mention that bellroy also makes cases for the iPhone. Most Biased video, and opinionated/non-factual video I've ever seen on a tech channel.
The only company that botched and really scammed their customers was Samsung because z fold 4 and 5 have been returned from many customers due to the hinges getting stuck, battery damage, and the hinges breaking the inner screen perhaps Samsung needs to wake up and build a better hinge for the z fold phones
I have not heard this much about the Z Fold5 yet. It's not a widespread problem yet that's for sure.
A05s vs A04s vs A05
Iphone is better ,if not why compare a thousand android phones to one brand Apple😉
Samsung - hold my S pan 😎
Isn't the iPhone Pro Max the flagship.. so google need a max or Ultimate or Ultra or supreme or celestial 😜
Dude just come to a single conclusion😒
androids are still laggy, slow color capture on camera mode. Iphone on yop 🎉🤟🏼
What apple is thinking about the peak brightness the iphone 15 still stay 2000 nits, whereas apple watch ultra 2 was upgrades to 3000 nits peak brightness, so silly apple didn't upgrades to iphone 15 to 3000 nits😂
3000? What, you want to go blind?
12:43 If a phone has 120W charging, would it last 7 years?
2:17 If you look at the discover feed on the Pixel, Apple better watch out.
Pixel all the way 👍💪
P8P is probably the best Android device? The probably, you got right. S23 Ultra smokes it in every aspect except screen brightness.
And updates and less bloatware and less legginess etc etc
Samsung is cool if you are cool with mediocre slow camera, bloatware, duplicated apps, animations hiccups, ugly inconsistent UI, worse haptics, missing AI features, and so on.
💯
Pro tip, if you're trying to win over viewers; how about removing your sim card from the iPhone 😂 to prove there's no bias going on PSA 💯
iPhone has the added benefit of Google apps. The best Google phone is an iPhone.
If he lives in USA then that means his iPhone is only e-sim
Pro tip, do your research first before embarrassing yourself. FYI: Here in the US the iPhones no longer have a physical SIM card. They use an E-card.
a lot of wrong information and biased review.
Big ass difference when it comes to speaker quality. You’re straight up lying saying you can’t tell a difference. The 15 Pro/Pro Max have the most mind blowing good speakers on a phone, ever. I was amazed at how god damn good they sounded compared to my 14 Pro which had amazing speakers already.
The speakers aren’t talked about enough, period.
Booooo
Booooo, period.
That’s my only thing about the pixels. My grandmother had one and I asked her if I could use her phone to check out the sound quality, and now she has an iPhone and the speakers are much better than that. Then they were on her pixel.T
Did you notice that the iPhone has a more vibrant display than the pixel? The iPhone display has higher contrast and better black levels.
The pixel has like 25% more pixels, is 400 nits brighter,,
But has a slightly thicker bezel…
The blacks are equal essentially😂❤
There is also one more worthy contender here called s23 ultra in case you forgot 😉
I think he’s just comparing the two newest devices produced by Apple and android. S23 has been out a while now .
There is absolutely no way the 8pro is the best android phone. I have both 8pro snd 23 ultra and the pixel feels like a toy compared to my ultra
Everyone knows android is better than ios
I would say that Apple is at least better in OS updates and the process of pushing the updates out to the respective devices. Smoother overall OS experience but the gap is definitely closed as I can tell with my S23 Ultra.
Citation please??? “Everyone”???? Its personal preference, they all do the same thing in the end. Its just what you want individually.
Let me guess - Indian?
😂😂 idiots assumes anything 😂
Life is bigger than your little phone wars
I’m an android fan but I think your video is biased. As example you mentioned the thermometer sensor in pixel and said iPhone doesn’t have any. but you ignored LIDR sensor completely. iPhones suck but pixels are even worse they are laggy. Samsung is and will be the king…
Pixels definitely not laggy, probably the least laggy android phones out there
S23FE vs S21FE (vs s23 vs a54)
iphone .
I'm back.
You are black?
Apple is the best❤
