I feel like every phone that costs around a thousand dollars or more should come with base storage of 256gb . Let's be real , smartphones heavily focus on their photography capabilities and even the user would like to store as much photos as they can locally without requiring to back it up or delete photos every month

I agree! I should have mentioned this in the video but you can easily fill up 128GB in a few years. With photos and video files getting larger in size, it can also takes up cloud storage if you choose to backup the photos. I appreciate Google offering 2TB of storage for 6 months though after than it reverts to 15GB which isn't a lot. Nevertheless, it's still an improvement over Apple's standard 5GB service. It's just another avenue for companies to generate more revenue by selling cloud based storage.

(As a disclaimer, I own a Pixel 8 Pro and have access to an iPhone 15 Pro Max, so my comment is based off of my experience with both.)
In around 20:20, you mentioned the following about the Pixel 8 Pro: "The experience on this phone just gets worse and worse. It becomes even more laggy and unresponsive with a noticeable hold-still overlay."
From my understanding, you are making this statement with the understanding that you are enabling RAW mode on the Pixel, and not anything else.
I want to point out that, when you JUST enable RAW mode, and otherwise keep the default resolution (which appears to be 12MP or 24MP for the iPhone, and 12MP for the Pixel; see 20:10 and 20:18, respectively), you shouldn't notice a significantly worse time taking pictures (the post-processing, i.e. the time taken to process the image AFTER the shot is taken, on the Pixel will probably take longer, but that shouldn't stop you from continuously taking pictures).
However, in 20:19, on the Pixel, you also enabled full resolution (50MP mode). In 20:24, at the top-left, you can see the 50MP symbol, indicating that you enabled full resolution mode when you made the aforementioned statement about the Pixel being "worse and worse" as you are spamming the shutter button.
You did *not*, however, show us taking full resolution pictures with the iPhone 15 Pro. This is where I think you're being disingenuous.
When I take out my iPhone 15 Pro Max and enable full resolution (ProRAW Max), there's also a delay between taking pictures which can be seen when the shutter button is disabled for half a second or so -- it's actually roughly the same as the Pixel when both phones are held still (although the iPhone's post-processing time, i.e. the time taken to process the image AFTER the shot is taken, is significantly faster thanks to its chip). I can't imagine the iPhone 15 Pro being any different from the Max in that regard.
The reason why I'm pointing this out is because, to me, it's a little disingenuous to say that the Pixel is is "more laggy and unresponsive with a noticeable hold-still overlay" when the iPhone does the same thing when everything is equal (i.e., when you enable RAW mode AND enable full resolution on both phones).

It isn't all daisies as made the switch to 15pro after only using Android and while it is a flawless experience and has hands down the best camera in a phone (I'm a photog don't fight me) it leaves alot to be desired. You can't customize things the same way and it seems to limit the phone rather than push it to it's fullest capabilities of performance. Also it doesn't have all the nifty features pixel has like call screening. Also Siri is a literal tech nightmare.

That was the most biased apple v android review I've ever watched. Ooh "iphones are better because they're smalller so they're more comfortable in my pocket". You mispressing buttons isn't a downside to the pixel 8 pro, it's a user error and I've always very quickly adapted to new phones with varying interfaces. My family are die hard iphone fans, but have been asking me how my photos look so good recently. Pixel 8 Pro camera is absolutely fantastic, the AI features are very well implemented and are so easy to use. I get home from a 9 hour day at work with 70% + battery, which is a lot more than any other phone I've owned.

I think you might have missed the whole point of the video. I’m not saying that iPhones are better. I was simply sharing my experience using both platforms side by side. Both iOS and Android have their own disadvantages and they can learn a thing or two from each other. At the end of the day, I was just impressed with the app optimizations, the speedy camera system and how fast it exports in LightRoom vs the Pixel. I’ve missed countless shots on the Pixel because of its shutter delay which was a frustrating experience. Look, if you’re patient enough of capturing static subjects, the Pixel is great! I love the image coming out the sensor. The detail is bananas but ultimately I preferred the iPhones stability.

Actually from what I watch too. You made sure to rub it in that iPhone does it better at every corner of your comparison. And neglected to talk about a lot of pixel features. This straight bias. Pro res cool for like .01% of the people that would actually use it. Being able to remove photo bombed is way more useful among other features that wasn't mentioned. .

As you said it's the small things on iphones that are good. But pixel has lots of those small things you never mentioned. For example when you drag your finger from the side to go back. It's like a bubble that separates at some point and it's just a super satisfying small thing which enhances the experience. There are just quite a lot of things you didn't mention. What about the audio magic eraser? You mentioned small things for the iphone but didn't really do so for the pixel. Tensor g3 is a chip made for the ai futures and it's supposed to be the "smart" phone not a power phone. So yea I agree. This isn't a fair comparison.

I have not been able to use a Pixel since the Pixel 5 because of the garbage IR sensor that Google used on the 6, 7 and 8.

Now we're just waiting on Google, Apple, and Samsung to stop using ultra low end camera hardware. 1" sensors with full 50MP resolution should be standard.
After that we just need to rip the "pro" moniker from all of them unless they make them fat with massive batteries. A Pro device shouldn't be a fondle fun toy for average consumer fetish-aestheticysts who want thinness over battery life and performance.

Apple is superior I admit that but the reason I stick with android is because they have so much control over their platform, and they are just expensive in general. They have a good ecosystem, so it makes sense people use their iphone, ipad, imac, apple watch and stuff. But they create so much artificially disparity in their product that if you cant afford the top of the line, your somehow punished. Like I dont understand that battery size on the iphone 15pro. Is almost they understand the phone is so good like the only way to hold it back is by putting a smaller battery.

There are quite a few software things that Android does better that weren't mentioned in this awesome video:
    - Copy feature in Android is so good
    - Split screen, so much productive in many cases
    - GBoard is just simply better
    - Google Assistant, Siri is no competition
    - Universal back gesture, and works on left and right side of screen
    - Clear All button in multitask window menu
    - One handed mode
    - Notifications: Status Bar. No need to swipe to see what kind of notifications you have
    - Notifications: Smarter features like smart replies, open shared links directly, like, etc
    - Notifications history, in case you dismiss some and want to check what it was
    - Control center for me works much better in Android and I think it's better for users that are not used to either. In iPhone you have to learn swiping down from the left side is notifications and from the right is Control Center. Pixel is one swipe down from anywhere in the screen and you access both. Apart from that, Control center in iPhone there are icons without labels, you don't know what those are fore unless you are used to them. In Pixel you clearely see them. You can configure them there in the same Control Centre, whereas in iOS you have to go to Settings and search for Control Center settings. And if the specific Control Center icon have more options, iOS doesn't hint you that, whereas Pixel shows you an arrow to indicate there are more options than just active/deactive
    - Volume control for different things like Media, Call, Ring, Alarm, and Notifications separately and to access it just need to push up/down volume button and tap in the 3 dots menu icon
And for the hostpot, you can have the icon in the Control Center and it will be a swipe and tap away.

For the 12min mark. I remember when Android had separate Mobile and WiFi tabs in notification tray. The notification tray had smaller buttons so more info in the first swipe down. Since they changed that to what it is now, it feels like iOS picked up the slack in terms of notification tray options. Huge downside for one handed quick setting change for Android. I know Samsung skin tried to address this for a bit but I switched to Sony and don't know if it still does.

The thing with the iPhone battery life in the first week being bad is because of the background processing that happens as it indexes files and other bullshit when you transfer data to it from an older phone. Also why it runs warm more often. After the first week or so it settles down, the battery life improves and the phone runs much cooler. I don't know why Apple choses to do things this way as it just makes a bad first impression but if you are worried about the battery life and heating of your new iPhone then don't worry as it will get better in a few days. Also true for the Macs.

iOS and iPadOS are both painful for downloading anything at all. They really want you to do everything in a preview or the web browser. To save anything to the device you have to “share” then choose “share to files app” which feels really clunky. Apple actually provides a ton of storage capacity in their devices but then make it difficult to actually save files to the devices. I don’t understand why Apple assumes its users can’t handle a normal file browser yet the users can apparently handle grading Log video saved to an external drive…

From since I was 13 years old to now (21) I have only ever used or wanted Apple phones. The more I updated my phone and every time I got an upgrade to the next one, the more shady stuff happened. Apple has gotten so bad over the years, just scamming people out of their storage. I had hardly anything on my iPhone because of this, and no matter how many videos, apps, messages, (anything that it told me to delete to get my storage back) my storage would never go down. I even looked everything I could up to fix it like clearing cache, website cookies, ect.. The thing is, when my storage got full it was the worst experience I’ve ever had with a phone in my life. It would fully delete apps from my phone without telling me, the notes app completely going invisible, messages not working, photo editing, anything you can think of that would inconvenience you happens when your storage gets full. They want you to buy storage, and it just seems like they make the experience awful for that reason. I’ve always dealt with this problem with iPhones, but it seems like every time I get the upgrade it gets worse and happens faster. I’m over it, I’m switching.
