Tsavorite is also found in Tanzania - in the Merelani Tanzanite mining area (lelatema antiform) as well as in gogogo Madagascar. It's a magnificent stone, and I completely agree that fine quality green Tsavorite Garent is very special indeed!! The beautiful stone that you are showing in this video is way too light in colour to be classified tsavorite though. comparing the clarity of a light 'tsavorite' like this would have to be compared to a lighter beryl such as aquamarine to be totally fair.
Thanks for the information, I was wondering if tsavorite are treated or not. Happy to know that it's all natural. I would like to add one to my collection.
The great thing about tsavorite (and other garnets) is that they tend to not be treated at all. Now only a few weeks ago however, I got a message from someone who had given a tsavorite to a GIA-lab and they had stated that the colour had been enhanced...So, there can be treatments but they are really still very exceptional and virtually all are totally natural. (That stone I saw only a photo of did look a bit too good to be true, the colour didn't look natural to me and so that's always something to be aware of). If you go to a reputable dealer and ask the right questions, you should be fine though! The questions to ask: 1. "Is this stone natural as opposed to synthetic?" The answer should be 'natural'. 2. if they reply the stone is natural, you ask: "And has the stone been treated or undergone any enhancement?" The answer for a tsavorite should be 'the stone hasn't been treated or enhanced'. Lastly, if you intend to invest into a very nice stone, always ask for an international lab certificate, either GIA or SSEF for example. Good luck!
Nice stones. Garnets are my favorite stone and tsavorite is my favorite of the garnets. I have four that are that intense vivid green that rival emeralds. I have a few emeralds too but I would rather have my tsavorites in a ring than an emerald.
Agree that the bluish green of some emeralds is a warm, stunning hue! They are warmer than the slightly harder, diamond-feel of a sparkling tsavorite. Depends on what you like (or your mood ;)).
Yeah fine-quality gemstones are hard to find! But let me know if you're interested in seeing a tsavorite. from my collection. My email: info@evagemsandjewels.com Have a great day!
Yep, thanks, Tsavo Park is in Kenya but the discovery place of tsavorite is in that parc close to the border with Tanzania. Apologies for any confusion.
HORRIBLE video ! The stones should be shown properly and in an environment with lighting that will show their color to the very best. Also, a Tsavorite garnet is no match for a fine quality emerald. This lady is kidding no one but herself.
Hello Brian and thanks for your comment. I respectfully disagree; emeralds tend to be heavily included (most therefore have far less brilliance than tsavorites) and treated. Top quality emeralds can be absolutely beautiful though. And while I am totally open to any type of comment, we also know your comment is part of a group-wide stalking, exploitation, intimidation and bullying project. I wish you well. (P.S. I know the video isn’t optimal, it was one of the very first videos I ever made :)).

Thank you. Thank you so very much. I appreciate you so much. So grateful. I love all of you so very much.
Thank you!!
Yes tsavorite sparkles better than emeralds but the finest emeralds have a unique glow in them that makes them stands out against other green gems.

Not really for what you a taking
Indeed, Tsavorite is much better choice
Tsavorite gemstones are found in Kenya and not Tanzania. Tsavo is in Kenya
In fact, tsavorites are found in Tanzania, Kenya and Madagascar.
Correct. I mine it in Tanzania
You don't know what you are talking about. My dad used to mine Tsavorite in Arusha, Tanzania
Hi..
Aaaaaand! TSAVORITE IS JUST A SEMI PRECIOUS STONE, EMERALD IS PRECIOUS STONE..
Not really I fear… Both are coloured gems that both come in low and very high quality. Emerald does have a longer history :)

Love tsavorite. Showing that skin whats up babe
Tsavorite garnet (green garnet) is found in both Tanzania and Kenya.
