I like that you give small tips that make a huge difference to those who want to get into this kinda thing, it certainly motivated me to want to get into painting again.
Would love it if you did a sketching video on faces. You drawings that you start with are lovely. (Paintings are fabulous, but the foundation of the drawing is part of why this is)
Wen ever i feel uninspired i watch you,re video,s. It realy helps. Thank you for you,re wonderfull art work. Bless you and have a great day or evening bye 😁👋🏼👍🏼
I really love your art, amazing as always. Sometimes I try to use watercolors, but it's complicated; I realize that painting like you is very difficult. And I will practice a lot to make art like yours. Sorry for my mistakes, I don’t speak english xd
Thank you appreciate it! Watercolor is a very tricky medium and alot less forgiving than gouache, but like anything else only way to get better is to keep going, good luck!
FINALLLYYY! THE MOST AWAITED GOUACHE TUTORIAL! Thank you for sharing your knowledge to us. I’m rooting for more videos. Surely i’ll binge watch ‘em all. Lovelots!

Gouache is new for me and so is portrait painting, I admire how you explained the process here. I am going to try this. Though I have a long way to go in portrait painting. Enjoyed the background music with video :)
Wow this is very nice! I started watercolor art almost seven months ago and I found out that gouache is also interesting. I bought cheap gouache and will start making portraits too (cuz I definitely love to do portraits). I'm glad I found your channel! You're a great help!💝💝💝
Hello JMR art. I could,nt find the strath more mixtoned sketchbook. I,ve looked every were. Even on Amazon. Myby they are sold out? I love you,re art. You are extremely talented. And for you and everyone:take care in these confusing and thougth corona time,s. 👋🏼👍🏼😀😊
Really beautiful- I'd love to see more videos from you! You've got a natural teaching style (love the flat brush tip). I'm more of a sketcher, but really want to get into watercolor/gouache. I just love your technique, really stunning!
Interesting! Thanks for the explanation! When I paint I usually just go for it and don’t think about the process too much. Next time I’ll definitely be more conscientious of what I’m doing 😊
Thank you ! I am doing a painting for school rn and i am so so so lost and i saw your last ig post cuz i ve been following u for about a couple of months & i was trying to figure out the steps of ur paintings cuz ehat u paint is what i am asked to do (portrait gouache, diluted, complementaries etc ) but i m having a hard time undertanding the way And i discoverd by chance that u made a “step by step” here on yt and i thank u for that it is really helpful to me !!
I loved this video. Been following you on IG for a while and your gouache portraits were the ones to convince me to try out the medium - I'm usually a digital artist, so it's been a leap and a half trying to start a new thing. You're super inspirational though and getting this demo was super helpful, since I mostly enjoy doing portraits but I'm having a hard time finding a good way to go about it. I'm going to try with your method this weekend, see if I have any luck with it. Thank you for posting this - and I look forward to potentially more of these with gouache in the future!
I’ve recently heard about some acrylic painters mixing in acrylic airbrush thinner for their base coats, instead of mixing in water. They feel it binds the pigments better and makes the painting last longer. Do you ever use this technique for gouache? Do you think it’s relevant for the properties of gouache? Great videos! Thank you.
More of an unfounded nitpick or anything but you gotta pick a channel name thats easier to remember. But cmon, youre gonna blow up anyways cuz this is amazing

Painting real people; love that
PROPS!. SKILLZ!.
Would love it if you did a sketching video on faces. You drawings that you start with are lovely. (Paintings are fabulous, but the foundation of the drawing is part of why this is)
You're absolutely right, the drawing is the key step as the skeleton for the painting. I will incorporate more drawing videos in the future
As an aspiring artist videos like these are so helpful! Can’t wait to try out some of these techniques. I love your work!
Thank you, really happy to hear that it is helpful!
