Not really going to bother watching this, but I see Hugh Hefner is in the thumbnail. If the doc is called "The Real Marilyn Monroe", then why is Hefner being interviewed? He never knew her, never met her, used her images without permission for his dumb rag. If the doc is about MM's influence on sexuality in America, then fine, he can probably speak to that. But his presence all ALL of MM docs gives me a headache. They might as well interview me - I probably know more about her biography than he did, anyway.
@@kiranjitKaur61 Hef tells colorful stories that aren't true. The fact is, he paid a Chicago calendar company $500 for one of the nudes. She admitted in her autobiography that the Playboy spread actually helped her career, but went on to say, with some bitterness, she never saw a cent from the millions of dollars the photos had generated, beyond the $50 she was originally paid. Hefner got rich off Monroe, but he's no expert on her actual life, nor is he a sociologist.
@@classiclife7204 I am talking about towards the end of MM Ji's life, that is when MM Ji is supposed to have said to Hugh Heffner to use her naked pictures for Playboy that she did for the Life Magazine on and around the pool for the Film fully naked.
@@kiranjitKaur61 If Hefner is saying he and Monroe negotiated directly, or that they talked, Lawrence Schiller - who took the photos - tells a very different and far more credible story. Schiller negotiated with Hefner, and got $25K for the nude shot. Hefner bought the photo from Schiller. He never spoke to Marilyn. Via Schiller, she finally got the SOB to pay for her image right at the very end of her life, the last day, in fact. Schiller awoke to the news that she was dead, and discovered MM had sent him some of her approved shots on the afternoon or even early evening of her death. "Playboy may like these", is what a note accompanying them said. I think she no longer cared, anyway: she had made her fatal plans. Also, it was ONE exclusive nude shot - the rest were non-exclusive anyway.
Most sexual abused individuals have this same Theme, which is the dagger, that results in slow death. When one is abused before certain age, and abandonment, then later rejected by real dad/ sperm donor, put in orphanage. It is documented regarding the destructive effect it has on the person. Which most people idolize the plaything, Toy Doll to own, not as a Person, but as a Symbol. She knew it felt it, which also is what earned a living, this sub self, of the imagination, as has been reflected through many stars. As one becomes a Thing to Sell, like the past is reflected, sexy has a price, Lost Soul, emotionless, to the True. This is the facade that all is too live, The show goes on, put on a happy face. Don't ask, Dont' tell Don't care.
Let me see if I got it: so she coloured her hair, spoke with a changed voice, made her appearance the focus of her interest and then wanted men to love her for who she was? It seems to me, publicly she played a character... Probably she thought she wasn't interesting enough for herself... Besides, it seems to me she wasn't picking men cause she loved them. She picked men with money, fame and power. Her ultimate goal was to be first lady so... she didn't do anything for people to love her for who she was, and it doesn't seem to me she was searching for love. She was searching for money, fame, and power. I think she was lovelly as the character she presented us, but we didn't get to know the person. She had a really harsh path and she probably learnt the only way to keep going was to use what she had: body and looks. So, it's sad. I don't think she was dealing well with what her life had become. She probably had a lot of traumas to deal with, a lot of demons. But she was one of the biggest stars ever, but what a price she had to pay... She was abused as a minor, and she was abused as an adult...I mean, if only we could go back in time and give her the proper background, a family who loved her and educated her, and gave her what we all need, I think things would be quite different. She still is remembered, despite all that, and she will always be. At least Marilyn Monroe will even if Norma Jean was her real self.
Ana 21 she was an opportunistic individual with High goals and higher hopes. She was lucky Bc she was a pioneer in a way in how she portrayed herself , if we exclude ladies like Bettie page etc. for an actress of her clique, she was one of the pioneers but I don’t think for a second she was as innocent as she showed. She was insecure for sure , who isn’t bottom line, but she knew very well what she was doing , at least that’s my intake as a third eye.
There is a good interview on youtube with Marilyn for Life magazine. Many who knew her would say Marilyn just wanted to have her own family... fame and adoration of fans is not personal love.
She will always be the most amazing woman of all time! Too bad she was surrounded by assholes who took advantage of her and treated like crap! Such a shame! To be honest she was better off leaving so soon! They didn't deserve her!
Arthur Miller is a monster. Merlin could not find a worse husband. with another wife he had a son with down syndrome and they gave him away. Bastard had never even been visited his son... a great intellectual who was ashamed and abandoned his sick child. Merlin was too smart and too complicated for him. then even those Kennedy ... Merilyn was unlucky with men. the only one who really loved her was Joe. maybe if she gave up that wicked Hollywood that was also destroying her, she would be happy with dimaggio. until the last moments she could count on him after all.
I love her voice she could sing better songs with much profound messages, that "diamonds are a girl's best friend" doesn't go to my soul really! But I know she wanted to be more than that of course! Yeah okay you like to see a hot girl singing and acting but even if she wasn't that hot I would still look for her to sing and talk like herself and do more serious roles, her voice talking and singing sounded amazing and she had an amazing soul! She was very smart!
Poor Marilyn she never stood a chance. Even in death she can't escape the slippery, unsavoury characters of life, Hugh Hefner is supposed to have paid to be put in a volt right next to her.(Yuk!!!)
Absolutely beautiful and glamorous!..she will live long forever in our hearts and soul and was original😁❤..oddly recently found out her and anna nicole smith are related somehow..I think 3rd cousins??
Actually I was wrong.I did more digging and I believe they are 6th cousins on Anna Nicoles biological fathers side of the family and her and Marilyn share the same ancestor through her mothers Gladys side of the family. Whats bizarre though is Anna Nicole did in fact live in Marilyns house I think for a brief period in her early years when she was in playboy and guess. also her husband j.howard Marshall rented it for her and she claimed to have seen her ghost and believed the house was in fact haunted.
Marilyn continued to pay all the hospital and care bills for her mother and left money in her will for the payments to continue after her passing.....😳
Well she brings happibess and enjoyment to me everytime I watch her movies sge is so cute and funny my son when he was 10years old saw her movies with me and he said mon she is so Feminine and innocent I like her movies are funny too makes me laugh a lot, now I know why you like her so much! That was a perfect way to describe her. Ofcourse that everytime I think about her death it breaks my heart she was an angel in my opinion she was just trying to find love.
Joe was the only one that loved her. He saw they were exploiting her! But apparently she decided to divorce him even thought he was madly in love with her. And if Marilyn wanted to be taken more seriously, she should of listened to Joe! But she discards him. Her life was a tragedy.
It's scary how women do what they want, eh. Including leaving a man who knocks them around like a pinata. Her life would've been more tragic if she had stayed with the violent, controlling Joe DiMaggio.
@@classiclife7204 You act like you were there. How the hell would you know? Sounds like revisionist history to me. A man that wanted to control her so much that he put flowers on her grave till he died. GTFO..
@@VL1975 I mean you already lost before. I remember you; you were the teenager who couldn't provide a shred of evidence that Monroe was murdered, despite your claim that she was. In truth, you've already lost now. All the major biographers provide circumstantial evidence, plus there is photographic evidence. The clearest is her thumb in a splint after Joe smashed her hand with a suitcase lid while they were packing for their honeymoon. He didn't want her to perform for the troops; they fought. Boom. Also pictures of her arm bruised during this time, consistent with her arm being gripped violently. Plus the testimony of Milton Krasner, Gladys Whitten, Amy Greene, Whitey Snyder, others I can't remember. Joe was better the second time around, in 1961. He had grown up a bit. But in 1954, he was jealous and violent and an all-around petulant child. His anger was probably also fueled by the fact that this was more of a "publicity marriage" for Marilyn than a case of real passion and love, though she actually rather liked Joe. Not good enough, evidently. In any case, the "liking" stopped after the night at the St. Regis and she divorced him as soon as humanly possible. Sorry he is a disappointment to you.
Sometimes Hollywood knows that it's most hated and resented what ends up it's most troublesome to it , is its biggest star and they are going to use that , women and men alike were jealous of Marilyn , most people offering her rescue wanted something for themselves or her to be something else. When Marilyn got older they were calling her persona dated and suggesting / threatening replacement's, studios where up against each other and rivalry for who had the biggest star of what image. Blonde/Redhead or brunette where being fought over and released at various times but there wasn't enough cash to play fair or for rival studios to be secure enough for them all to have a same type of girl that could rival each other in takings. There wasn't the money there is now, the wrong girl or a studio securing a similar but cheaper girl or someone swoping sides could end a studio so there was huge rivalry and suspicion. She was easier to "love" however once she was dead and in the end , I feel ill at writing this..." Worth more financially to more people dead" there were and are people admitting to loving her once she was gone. Sometimes those who today have come to admire her would be those very people who would actually take against her should they find themselves in her company. As for her finding love she then came with fame and was in what was Hollywood where many a marriage was more a convenience as Hollywood was asked to hide homosexuality due to reputation and the whole we sell to the opposite sex situation. I'm not singling anyone out here but it is how it was and so many people were willing to use her life and death as their opportunity. This is not reserved to just Marilyn's life. Truth is she had to die before people could feel comfortable loving her people were threatened by her. They would say terrible things about and to her and I know that there are people who love her image and what they perceive as her persona or what they imagine they know of her but the truth is if she were alive today and in their social circle they wouldn't want her in it, she acceptable to them dead but they haven't stopped to ask themselves how they would really cope with her amongst their husband or themselves as their sister or sister in law or as their competitor in the arts. I hate that she is easier to admire , love or relate to dead. That it is her death that has meant she is now likeable enough to be loved by generations. People learnt from her death but who profited from a knowledge of Marilyn and in what way was down to the individual. I'm not sure anythings changed and she wanted that. It was all of this that made Marilyn the loneliest girl in the world, people needed her to be ridiculed in some way, Marilyn with looks, intelligence humour and happiness , a bit of security too was far too much for people . If you should ever find yourself with it all , probably best not to show it, you might get to keep it ... and your husband.
The reality is people only care about her because of her beauty if she didn't look the way she looked majority of the people who say they love her wouldn't feel the same if she didn't look the way she does. from what I hear from these people who knew her is that she was aware of that. She wanted people to love her for who she was as a person not just for her beauty. Sad she never had parents who loved her. Hope she finds God and love and peace thou where ever she is right now
The iconic status Marilyn Monroe attained has always left me stumped. While not actually ugly, she tended towards the dumpy, she was glitter-cheap in appearance, voice and style, and she seemed a genuine half-witted ninny completely subjugated by every passing man. With no effort at all, I can bring to mind dozens of women (new and old) who blow her clean outta' da water! I am no troll, but I when I read the unmitigated tripe written here about her, I must protest! Tastes and opinions differ, I suppose. After all, the USA actually handed the reins of leadership to a strutting cockalorum that in a sane world shouldn't be in charge of a popsicle stand, and it may actually do so again. Ergo, nothing should surprise us!
But the Real Marilyn reincarnation namely Anna Nicole Smith was never hired to play Marilyn. I find that extremely sad. I would have casted in many important roles.
I have been watching her in SMASH again, I think the world knows what happened and it is a cautionary tale for the ages.Who did her death benefit, government officials. She was a problem for someone and she conveniently died. So typical I would say. George from West Side Story, bravo
I thought the reason for her leaving joe was because after that famous scene they went back to their hotel and he hit her and she left his ass because of that. I remember that from a movie about her life. Someone please let me know if that was over exaggerated.
training post speech impediment. She developed a stutter after her first sexual abuse experience in foster care. Her speech therapist trained her to breathe while speaking in an attempt to take the stutter away. it worked and that's where the airy accent comes from.
Andromeda Becker No. She read a book called,.The Thinking Body about how to breathe and walk. She took inspiration from that and her acting coach Natasha Lytease. They trained most actors in those days to have a transatlantic accent. Eventually she started losing it after working with the Strasbergs. Look no further than Misfits and Some Like It Hot. She was a genius at her craft really.

hello Mona, did you know that MM signed her paper with photographer Tom Kelly writing 'Mona'? Anyway. Your text under the video is pretty touching and brilliant. I am a fan since I was 11 years of age. She was kind of genius to the camera and loved around the world. On the other hand everything comes with a price. For me Hollywood and cinema is quite a mirage when it comes to reality. A dream world. A religion. For me it is important to love the Lord, God and insofar his angel Marilyn too. Otherwise Marilyn and her films would be a gentile, pagan worship leading to nothing else than selfdestruction. Movies have mor to do with the death than the living things. Germany's complte downfall was launched by cinema-crazy people like Hitler and Goebbels who ransack the Jews in Europe in order to be able to produce a film called "Titanic" between 1941 and 1943. That is a sad truth. In my opinion, there is a resemblance between what the Western World said is to love Jesus Christ and the love to an orphan like Marilyn....someone really positive takes all the negative vibration of the evils on his shoulders and to die of that burden.
Markus, In her Hollywood fabrication as MM, she was NOT held in high esteem by Christians. So Christians did not see her movies. Also, she was a '50's icon. By the 60's, when "thin was in," young women were not flaunting their bodies. They were focused on being seen as people with intellects. MM was at the time not noted for her "acting." She was thought to be a "dumb blonde." She possibly held some hypnotic effect on men. That might be why her image is still promoted. Hollywood wanted one person whose true personality they could erase so that they could impose a fake image. She cannot be "an angel" because she was not considered wholesome, clean, or pure for young people of the 'sixties. Also, Hollywood glamour was considered a cliche for the 60's generation. It is difficult to understand the appeal the icon seems to have when she was past her prime for the youth of the '60's. By the time she married A. Miller, he was also past his prime in the world of drama. I think she is at rest now as the original person, Norma Jean, who had light brown wavy hair worn long and natural. And a very different face from the Hollywood image. It is possible to honor the real person and not persist in idolizing the role. People seem more interested in the image than the person. The Hollywood manufactured MM image was "tongue-in-cheek," even back then. I doubt anyone of the time considered her to be much more than a comedienne.
@@MsAddy-lw2wt Okay, I did. There are no statutes of limitations on murder. If the evidence is there, then surely the DA can assemble it posthumously and charge the Kennedys or whoever you think is guilty. The DA took a peek in 1982, laughed, said, "Nah," and closed the book. New evidence can re-open it, but just remember that all statements from Clemmons, Slatzer, Carmen, and Miner has been discredited. Good luck on your quest for justice!

Well said👏👏👏
Well, Hugh said that at the end MM Ji told him on the phone to use some of her pictures for Playboy..
I like her a lot! 💞
ANA, well said
Ana 21 she was an opportunistic individual with High goals and higher hopes.
Many who knew her would say Marilyn just wanted to have her own family... fame and adoration of fans is not personal love.
well said
It makes me angry when Hugh is buried next to her. She didn’t want to be a sexsymbol and he made her into that. Let her soul and body Rest In Peace.
She will always be the most amazing woman of all time! Too bad she was surrounded by assholes who took advantage of her and treated like crap! Such a shame! To be honest she was better off leaving so soon! They didn't deserve her!
I agree ,.
Nice edits as u tell the story ☺️
they said "Wake up its just another bad dream"

thanks for the upload! huge MM fan here!!
I think Arthur Miller made that movie to break her...I think it did to a point
Arthur Miller is a monster. Merlin could not find a worse husband. with another wife he had a son with down syndrome and they gave him away. Bastard had never even been visited his son... a great intellectual who was ashamed and abandoned his sick child. Merlin was too smart and too complicated for him. then even those Kennedy ... Merilyn was unlucky with men. the only one who really loved her was Joe. maybe if she gave up that wicked Hollywood that was also destroying her, she would be happy with dimaggio. until the last moments she could count on him after all.
She was murdered!.
yes she was ... :(
I agree. Too many powerful people wanted her eliminated.
You should listen to the song River of No Return. My favorite song she ever sang
@@andromedabecker2325 File My Claim fer me
Poor Marilyn she never stood a chance.
Even in death she can't escape the slippery, unsavoury characters of life, Hugh Hefner is supposed to have paid to be put in a volt right next to her.(Yuk!!!)
Poor George was a sweet man...
Absolutely beautiful and glamorous!..she will live long forever in our hearts and soul and was original😁❤..oddly recently found out her and anna nicole smith are related somehow..I think 3rd cousins??
Wow?!!
Patti Smith she’s so kind hearted
I think any life that chases fame and success is a sad life.
Hef bought the plot right next to her. That's beautiful it makes me think they had a deeper relationship than he leads on.
He used her to profit off her lol
So is just true that being pretty like a doll doesnt assure you be happy în this world
Well she brings happibess and enjoyment to me everytime I watch her movies sge is so cute and funny my son when he was 10years old saw her movies with me and he said mon she is so Feminine and innocent I like her movies are funny too makes me laugh a lot, now I know why you like her so much!
GTFO..
@@VL1975 Are you sure you want to argue? Because you will lose. Just a heads-up.
@@classiclife7204 BRING IT BITCH!
R.I.P. Marilyn 💋🌹
The tatoo I see most often adorning the bodies of todays' hottest glamour girls is of Monroe. Say no more ✌
Sometimes Hollywood knows that it's most hated and resented what ends up it's most troublesome to it , is its biggest star and they are going to use that , women and men alike were jealous of Marilyn , most people offering her rescue wanted something for themselves or her to be something else.
Hope she finds God and love and peace thou where ever she is right now
I so can relate to this story .. I would love to know why this story resanates so much
Because it’s a bigger than life story. She was murdered like a lot of people in the 60’s who were a problem for someone.
Okay.. guess the video is done? Way to cut it off early.

No one knew MM?
Marilyn didn't even know Marilyn...sad state to be in
💯
Is there a Marilyn Monroe Day?
But the Real Marilyn reincarnation namely Anna Nicole Smith was never hired to play Marilyn. I find that extremely sad. I would have casted in many important roles.
I was wondering about that if Anna played Marilyn in a movie we would've thought Marilyn came came to life.
She was nothing like Marilyn Please stop... Marilyn Monroe was and still is unmatched please stop trying to compare people to her.
No way she does not look like her...
I have been watching her in SMASH again, I think the world knows what happened and it is a cautionary tale for the ages.Who did her death benefit, government officials. She was a problem for someone and she conveniently died. So typical I would say.
George from West Side Story, bravo
Her involvement with the Kennedy
men was quite imprudent. She should have been more careful.
Hugh Hefner, was laid to rest, next to Marilyn Monroe! That"s too creepy
I thought the reason for her leaving joe was because after that famous scene they went back to their hotel and he hit her and she left his ass because of that. I remember that from a movie about her life. Someone please let me know if that was over exaggerated.
I think your right he did hit her
Can someone please tell me were that accent comes from???
training post speech impediment.
She was a genius at her craft really.
the more they show this and new details come up you understand this is misinformation and personal opinions and judgements nothing to do with what is the real person
I don’t know if this old lady talking about her in the orphanage has dementia or a memory loss but she was not happy in those times. Stop lying lady..
This story reminds me of why I like my very private life path now and yes cookie ur heart and find love in the right person and not to sleep around with multiple people at once .. that only brings dramas. And she was sleeping with many dangerous men .. who many of them toke advantage of her .. karma gets those who abuse people # fbi and cia have the truth files .. one day I will look into them myself .. because I find this case fascinating 🤨. Стилист полина вахитова в своем блоге обсуждает девушку, внешность которой довольно близка монро
hello Mona, did you know that MM signed her paper with photographer Tom Kelly writing 'Mona'?

If the evidence is there, then surely the DA can assemble it posthumously and charge the Kennedys or whoever you think is guilty.
