It's better to come home from tour with money than to live it up for 30 days of tour on a bus. The band is trying to rebuild a bit. I'm sure they'll be back in a bus in the future.
So everyone knows, this is your life if you choose to play metal. There isn't a ton of money in it anymore, especially in the US. If you wonder why, check out the local show scene. Tickets are normally $20 or less and that's for like 3-4 bands. Then you see that tickets for an imagine dragons concert are $200. I love metal, but people need to realize the money isn't there anymore, if it ever was. There's a reason these guys are living in a van on tour.
There can be, but to be honest I feel like a lot of passion has died out in the genre. Like i haven't heard many "metal" songs with much passion/meaning to it. I could be going crazy but I still believe in it
I get what you're saying, but don't necessarily agree. There are a lot of metal bands that do pretty well for themselves financially. Revenue streams are so diverse these days that when you combine album sales with streaming, show guarantees, merchandise, licensing, sync deals, etc., there are still opportunities to make money. I'm not talking about being ultra wealth, but you can make a good living and have a nest egg to retire with. There are 7 billion people on this planet with very different tastes in music. Just because an artist isn't mainstream, doesn't mean they aren't making decent money. Again, I do see what you're saying though. Just presenting the other side of the argument.
@@commentmaster_666 you have no idea how intelligent I am by a comment. You’re negativity for no reason at all.. is unnecessary and very telling about who you must be. Good luck to you asshole.
Tour vehicles these days rarely have to do with the band's record label these days. When people actually bought albums, labels gave bands "tour support", which was essentially a part of the marketing budget from the label. Once album sales went away, so did tour support. Only bands getting tour support these days are super marketable bands on major labels.
2 years ago? We played with them at summer slaughter 6 years ago and they had a legit bus we would stay on because we had to most weed lol but this is crazy they went back to a van
Yeah, after Frankie kept the band going after the other members were gone, they went back to the basics. I believe they tour in a bus again these days though.
Hey, if I were them and I had to decide between a bus (and not make any money on the tour) and a van (and have money at the end of the tour). I'd choose a van.
Have you guys tried to get the band , DED to show their van or bus? They're pretty new amazing band if anyone that likes korn and slipknot, They're very much influenced by both bands
I wonder if there’s a band out there, or in the past, that got innovative with a van, and ripped out the seats, and just made it like a solid mat in the back to lay down on, and like ground seat chairs to sit. Or fuck it, maybe look for a deal on an old mini school bud or something lol. That must suck dick touring in a van lol.
I thought Emmure was a really successful band? So why are they in such a small vehicle? they can afford a bus right? Unless their record company or some shit isn't paying them money like shit they got hundreds of thousands of fans right? where's that money going into? Or does it cost a shit tone of money to record an album and that's where it's all going to? It's just odd that they would choose such an uncomfortable little van compared to a motor home or even an old bus or something with more room... weird oh well at least they are touring and still getting the job done
Hate to break it to you but there's not a lot of money in metal. You can't really get rich playing metal with screams unless you're like asking Alexandria
Buses are expensive. A full size tour bus typically costs a band 1000 to 1500 per day between the bus itself, plus gas and bus driver. I'm sure Emmure just wanted to come home with money at the end of this tour.
Who should we film with next?
Digital Tour Bus Avenged Sevenfold
Digital Tour Bus ARCH ENEMY
korn

Frankie: "Hi.. I'm Frankie."
Josh: "No you're not."

These guys are saving money touring in a van and plus they're basically a new band.
Yup
New? They've been around for over 15 years.
@@n1gh7m4re Well, Frankie has been around for 15 years. The rest of the guys we're fairly new at the point. Hence the "basically a new band"
@@n1gh7m4re haha.

😂😂😂😂
hehe
The mastermind of Darko in the back of that bus haha
Smart move for being in a van. Keep killin it.
Finally, someone gets it. :)
Aric Chaparro it saves them money, dude. If they rented a big bus, they’d bring home less money at the end of the tour.
damn these guys are chill! I don't get why people hate their music!
Definitely chill guys!
their music is kind of awful imo. being chill guys doesnt equate to good music.
4344 but it’s ok for other bands to do it right?? Or the entire song? Shut up
@@starfox1 I'm sure every single band you like is flawless and the Best! Not really though.
@4344 You're such a pussy lmao
The homies in Emmure!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️
:D
I fucking love Emmure
I love me some Emmure lol
:)
Venus Love i think u’re hot 😽
I love me some Joshua Travis
Damn they must be going broke or trying to save money with that little van
They save money. Racks. Being on a bus is a money drainer.
It's better to come home from tour with money than to live it up for 30 days of tour on a bus. The band is trying to rebuild a bit. I'm sure they'll be back in a bus in the future.
I mean, I think it's a cool move by them. They're fine with taking a step back in their career to push forward.
I hung out with BDM in a hotel while they were traveling and specifically mention people who use buses are wasting a shit ton of money
@DataBattles Z you mad boy ?
I like how Frankie flipped off the camera low key when showing his dirty clothes bag
Yup! I didn't even notice that until I was searching for a good thumbnail, haha.
LoL!
I've noticed he does that alot
Omg. They're gold. xD
hehe

All this giant ass paragraph because one band went on tour with a van instead of a bus
falt nearly ever band tours in a van not a bus... especially with this genre...
Bands have been playing out of vans for a long ass time.
oh my god this is one of the funniest Bus Invaders ive seen!
Really glad you liked it Karin!

My bad. I hope they do well with the new label. They're an awesome band with a great live show.

A bunch of money is saved by using a van. Might not look as cool, but rent gets paid.

Van invaders
Yup! We film a lot of vans for the Bus Invaders series.
what the fuck happened to there bus?
Things happen. Bands go through cycles in their career. Probably just trying to have more money left at the end of the tour.

If they were touring in a bus they wouldn´t bring any money home. So in a Van they will bring at least 60% of what they make for every gig!!
Frankie talks like Jesse Pinkman

Frankie pegging off the camera thinkin he’s slick 😅
