Of course the JD SBBP rye won! Such a great pour! I’m almost finished my first bottle and can’t wait to crack open my store pick @ 132.3 proof. Holding off on opening my 12 yr batch 2 but not sure how much self-control I’ll have this winter.
I can not imagine drinking random mystery bottles from strangers on the internet. You could be one blind away from becoming actually blind. Idk.. I guess im just paranoid..
i LOVE the JD SBBP Rye's. I was on the fence about them, because i'm fairly new to rye's, but a buddy of mine got me a store pick sample of one and it was phenomenal. I picked up a non pick bottle of it, but from the same rickhouse. it's extremely similar, the pick had a bit more sweetness to it. but man they are fantastic. I picked up a JD 10yr on a whim and i cant get enough of the higher end JD stuff. way better than i expected from them when i started my bourbon journey, as when i started i'd only had ol number 7, which i cant stand lol
