Have you ever considered a surf skate or carver? It definitely helped me feel more comfortable with my body movement. Especially opening up the shoulders!
Hey Adam! Honestly not too bad...until about your 3rd or 4th in a row in any bit of size. I find it gets harder and harder haha. If the paddle out is fairly easy no worries at all
