Omg I would’ve been the first comment last night I was so tired I feel asleep, then I’m seeing my notification for you’re video and now I’m back. I LOVED this video. Your stuff is so good girl. It’s amazing but just knowing what you always come back to reuse all the time is amazing. I never started buying vintage/Antiques until I started watching UA-cam. Honestly I wouldn’t even have known some of my fav type decor items even existed. I mean i shopped Target, Walmart and once in a blue moon like Pottery Bath. I mean I knew about thrifting (which I did a couple times) and I knew about garage sells. I didn’t know anything about XO MaCenna taught me… lol. Ok I have to tell you this, I’ve complained to you and others in the comment section of their videos quite often that I not only don’t have good thrifting where I live but the antique shops aren’t great and the ones that are decent are so expensive. I went 30min up the road where my sister lives in a very tiny town. I actually lived there myself in elementary. For the past 4 years there has been a year round Home Decor and Christmas store. My sister says she’s told me but all I render is last year my aunt talking about a Christmas store. I never took it that seriously because I’ve gone to decorators Warehouse near Dallas a few times. I now purchase stuff from Etsy and antique sources online. Girl I had no clue that these are much higher end items than like a Hobby Lobby but about the same prices as HL during their 50% off prices for ornaments and Christmas stems. I have searched for 3 years for plum colored ornaments and a wired plum velvet ribbon. I decorate with neutrals but I like my pops of color to be moody most of the time. I mean I don’t care for purple much but I love a deep plum. So I got 18 glass plum ornaments. Some more of the plum cimicifuga stems like the ones so popular from Afloral ( I didn’t care for the Amazon dupe ) the past 3 yrs or so for like 40% off of $12, grabbed the last 8-9 they are my fav fall stem. Ok so I found out while piling my Christmas stuff up that they had quartz and vessels and everyday decor, oh yeah Vessels! I found a wooden vessel really high up and I figured it was expensive so I knew I would come back another day and decided not to ask for a price. Right before I was finishing up I was living at stems out of what I realized was a pretty good sized olive jar floor vase with all the right distressing with some chips out of the top. So I had to look for that price. I ended up asking because the only place I hadn’t checked was the bottom of the vessel. There was no price and the guy wasn’t sure and he was busy. So I went to check out and decided to ask the kid at the counter who wasn’t busy and I gasped. It was $49.99 girl. So I already bought a new vase before mid Jan of 2025. Ok I’m fixing to get to bed. I wrote you a bedtime story I guess… lol!
