UA-cam has a plethora of animatics on it, some good, some needing a bit of practice. This one however is AMAZING. The animation is SO FLUID in some parts that it could trick me into thinking it is a high budget animation. You are doing amazing and I can't wait to see what comes in the future.
This was so engaging to watch, the amount of movement alone goes above and beyond most animatics--not to mention the dynamic angles and perspectives and the creative ways you used illustration to tell a story (the hands were amazing, I don't think I've ever seen anyone do something like that for this song before!) It's obvious you poured a lot of time and heart into this, the fact that you did the whole song and maintained such a high level of quality for the entire thing blows me away. Thanks for sharing this, I'd love to see more of your work in the future!
This has to be one of the best aniamtics I've ever watched. The characters' designs were amazing, the body language for each character is amazing differentiate their personality perfectly along with amazingly drawn expressions. Also I can't forget so many dynamic shots, moments of full on animation. I don't know a single thing about any of these characters but I NEED more. You did an absolutely phenomenal job on this animatic and everything in it. I hope you remember me when you're famous because you are gonna go far!
this is so good!!!! that part on the balcony especially is just so nice to watch it looks awesome. and i love how you handled the transitions between scenes & between singers it all comes together very well your ocs seem super interesting:) cool animatic👍
I was about to watch this from the beautiful thumbnail, but then i checked out the website. I guess I’ll have to come back to this later to avoid spoilers, because now I just have to read these books with an AWESOME LOOKING PREMISE!!!
Update: I finished it this morning. It was so fun! All of the characters were super compelling and deep, but also hilarious. You really utilized the aspects of the stones to bring out the inner desires/fears of the characters. They all felt so distinct from one another, which led to natural conflicts based off of their conflicted ideologies, backgrounds, and personalities. The “if your loyalty wavers, you die” aspect of the service stone was so creative and interesting to read. The slow buildup between all of the character’s relationships was extremely satisfiying to read. The characters had flaws that made them more complex, but they never got super annoying. I was scared I wouldn’t like Chioni or Asimi at first, but they really grew on me and became my favorite characters. Keep up the awesome work!
