Thank you for your feedback. I am glad you noticed the bare hand passing a sponge forcep and that it breaks aseptic technique! It takes great attention to detail to ensure all OR team members are following aseptic technique at all times. Our students are simulating surgical procedures in a mock lab environment while still learning skills and techniques to be proficient as practicing surgical technologist.

Looks like there’s some things going on that may need checking like improper procedures/ handling of items and missing items students should be wearing in the surgical room.

Hi there, thank you for your comment. We do understand the concern. We do have eyewear for students, and they do wear them. They may have had them off for the photoshoot that took place earlier that day.
