Great video, i think adding better main deck monsters for searching spell/monsters can be great too, something similar to what gishki has where you can discard one to add a gishki ritual spell and discard another to add a ritual monster, this will also help with GY setup for your chaos plays and ritual summoning from the GY. I also think that leaning on the ritual aspect is so cool for the deck, BLS is such an iconic yu gi oh card and ritual summoning was always cool to me so i hope it can one day be the best ritual strategy in the game.
another good thing about the BLS ritual build is the access to both Manju/Senju, which are Light monsters, and the ritual Djinn, which are Dark and dumpable with Foolish and help with fetching your ritual stuff and buffing up your ritual monster, and work with envoy of beginning too if you're desperate. granted, it's a bit of an older way to do it, and the little knights are still warriors, so they still benefit from ROTA and Allure, but even with that, it's like putting a bandaid on a bayonet wound.
Yeah Manju and Senju are currently both good options for sure! I play Manju in most BLS builds. But it says a lot about the current state of the deck that you still have to rely on 20+ year old consistency cards. I also like Diviner of the Herald + Arc Light to search Any Ritual Spell or Monster. It also makes it easy to summon a Chaos Angel :)
@@duelsanctuary funnily enough, I used to run a chaos deck that relied on summoning Demise and Ruin, using Manju and the few chaos card that existed in the old Yu Gi Oh GX Spirit caller game. And I splashed BLS in there. It was bricky, but somehow it worked
@@tizianolocarno111 Oh that sounds really cool! I’ve never played with Demise and Ruin myself, but combining them with Chaos/BLS in an old format sounds super interesting. I might have to give that a try someday!
@@duelsanctuary mainly because they're a light/dark duo, even in a GOATS like format like the old games with how little support ritual monsters had, Demise is still a great monster, Ruin less, but it's more for the theming than anything else. If you're also lucky and like bricking yourself to oblivion you can run instant fusion (still at 3 copies back then) to get a free ritual tribute for a measily 1000 LP from level 1 to 5, which is a lot of old fusion monsters (even though thousand eyes restrict was banned back then)
