I purchased one of these. Great razor. Especially for under $10. I used a Dorco ST-301 and good old Wilkonson shave soap. Think about it. I shaved with a $10 razor, a 10 cent blade, and a $2 soap and I got a million dollar shave. Simply amazing! Great video as always Paul. Say hello to Mrs. H. I particularly liked the opening music. Very tasteful.
@Michael Kevin Millet I have bought at least 10 Ming Shi razors. Both the 2000 adjustable and the 3000 adjustable. I never had any quality issues. Enjoy yours. The 3000s shaves great. I develop DE razors. This one is indeed well-made and at an unbelievable price point.
I have one of those PaulHFilms, over here in Thailand. Mine was wonky, very wonky, and I had to faff with it a lot to get it near even. Anything under setting 4 is as much use as a chocolate teapot! Other than that, I like mine very much and it was well worth the 220Baht or five and a half quid I paid for it.
I have been wet shaving for approximately 8 months now having stumbled upon your channel and learning the ropes. As you mentioned, let your skin adjust. I am still more than happy just to do a one pass with the growth.
Wonderful Shave Mr. H, I do enjoy the pic up time ! Beautiful Sun Flowers Mrs. H very Lovely arrangement for a Sunday Shave. Thanks for showing your Tomatoes and Chile peppers, sounds like a very good dinner. Enjoy every video Mr. H, from San Diego California USA
And just when I thought you were skipping the mint jelly....I say, " Lashings of Gravy!". All the best to you and your family. Thanks for sharing your time with us, on both channels.
Another gr8 shave Paul 💈👍 Uh oh another razor to order 🤣 Gavin has the other ming shi and really likes it so will have to add this to his colection!! Lovely flowers Mrs H 🌻 My toms coming on well. First one ripening 👍 That chilli looked fab 👍🌶 Hope u enjoy Lashento's love lamb. Gammon for us today. Have a gr8 rest of the weekend both 💈👍🌻💈
Be working most of the day. First my shave will be a Wilkinson shave . Using the Wilkinson black razor with a Wilkinson classic blade. Wilkinson soap and some lynx African aftershave. Have a good day.
I have been looking at the 3000s in anodized blue, I believe you are the first to review it among those I follow and It looks pretty good! I have the Future version in anodized blue and love it so now I think I'll pick one up for the price can't go wrong! I have your brush looking forward to the next DS brush, thanks PaujH!
I keep one in the travel bag permanently, good solid great value razor that works pretty well with any blade & soap I've tried so far, normally run it between 4 and 6, definitely prefer to the 2000s which I found too cumbersome and difficult around the moustache area.
Lovely relaxing Sunday shave, should call it 'Paul's chill zone'. All the best to you up there in Wales have a great Sunday and a well deserved rest. 😊 👍 👍 👍
Hi Paul- Great shave and razor review; thank you! You seemed to be having a nice, enjoyable shave with the Ming Shi. The Spoiler continues to be a great, all-around blade. Lovely flowers from Mrs H., as always! Regards to your Mom, as well. Sunday dinner sounds wonderful. Scotch Bonnets seeem quite nice. Have a great start to your week and see you on Wednesday for the mid-week shave. All the best!
You mentioned being asked about pick up time. I've been watching your channels since last Christmas. Caught up on many past videos as well. Some misconceptions I had, I've since figured out over time. I knew pick ups was basically touch ups, but I thought for a little while that the phrase "pick up time, baby" was some reference to a popular culture catch phrase. A movie, a song... or tv show. It didn't take too long to figure out it's a Paul H catch phrase! All yours, your claim to fame😉 The other misconception was the cat singing. This is the funny one. The first time I heard it, you never mentioned it was a cat, I thought he's got happy, young kids playing, screaming and singing in the house. How nice🤪 Nice shave today, Paul. Have a peaceful week.
Happy belated Sunday Paul! Love the Sunflowers...thank you Mrs. H!! Ming Shi Adjustable? I have not had much interest in these razors, but I look forward to your shave with interest. Oh, boy! The Gillette Spoiler blade on its 5th use. I am looking forward to each and every use of this blade. May you get to the 8th or more use. That first pass was awesome, soap, razor, and blade doing a fine job. Strawberry Rhubarb pie is nice. I like mine with some proper vanilla ice cream. The second pass is done and all is well. Very good shave indeed. My last shave: REX Ambassador Adjustable loaded with a Feather Hi-Stainless blade (4th use). LEA mentholated cream lathered with WCS 20mm synthetic brush. 3 pass plus pick-up pass. BBS result. Finish with the PAA CaD aftershave. I love the CaD scent and it does have some staying power. Paul, you did get a very good shave. Thanks for sharing. Looking forward to seeing Wales. Take care.
Great shave, Paul. With all those beautiful orange sunflowers, you should have used that RazoRock 400 brush, LOL. Have a great Sunday Dinner and a great and safe week.
Paul... Great review and great shave at it. I've just bought the Ming Shi 3000s just because it's hard to find refurbished/repaired Gillette fatboy. I had another another China made butterfly DE safety razor but it seemed to its razor butterfly wings wobble and the screw mechanism started to show some rust. Yikes mate. I have used the ming shi blades but I think I'm gonna switch to Wilkinson swords pretty soon. Thanks and have a great shave.
Nice shave Paul💈💈 I've never tried any of the Chinese "Clones", thanks for being the test subject🤨 The soap certainly looked like it did the trick, nice and slick. The "Spoiler" just keeps going and going, nice blades. Sunshine in the bathroom..!😊 Thanks Mrs H. Great video and review as always. Enjoy!
Great shave Paul I found it to be very similar for me 1-3 just too mild and 4-9 usable glad you liked it. MrsH did a wonderful job with the flowers really beautiful. My shave will be with a shick Krona Derby Usta blade and sublime citrus from Cyril R Salter. Enjoy your day all the best
Using a Palmolive shave stick, Gillette Super Adjustable, and some Barbasol aftershave. Good looking Scotch bonnet you have there Paul. May it light up your taste buds in a wonderful way. Cheers 👍🏻💈
Great video Paul. Thank you. I own many razors now and a large number of Gillette classics but I'm stuck on my Van Der Hagen $10 razor it gives me a great shave every time. 👍💈💈💈
Hi Paul. How are you? That´s funny because a bought one of those. But still wating to arrive. Nice to ear your thoughts about it. I wonder how it gonna work with my favourite Feather razor blades. I promisse i will give you my feedback about it. Big Hug for you as i always do and, i will see you in the next video.
Like rocking horse muck now Paul I have looked high and low to see if I can get my hands on one I have got the Ming Shi 2000s just keep looking on eBay I love to buy one take care and have a great week-end 😀
I’m don’t wet shave yet but I want to get into it. I want to get ur opinion on something. How does this sound? Edwin Jagger de89l, cella’ shave soap, omega boar brush, brut or old spice.
al ming shi 3000 le falta que los ajustes tengan un click , ya que varian al rasurar , the ming shi 3000 razor must have a click in the adjustment of the aggressiveness , since it moves during shaving , regards from mexico
5 use for a blade......How do you determine that...I would hope you would change more often.... 3 or less was your limit I thought for demos Your a complex man Sir Paul.....Flowers are amassing MRS H......"The longest grass is cut best with the sharpest blade"..The Future is the best As you know...you have three...lol

@flash boredom Say, I bought a few more as gifts and a second one for myself. No issues. Good quality control. I really do love this razor.
@flash boredom You too.

@@sbcwinn Wich one do you recommend between 2000 and 3000 ? thanks
@flash boredom Everybody has their own biases. Look an adjustable razor for under $10 that is actually decently made.... wow!

Well Paul, I've watched and now tomorrow will be Canadian Barbershop shave. Stay well, Cheers Mike in Nova Scotia!
I don't think you can go wrong with any Ming Shi razor. This looks like another candidate for my collection.
My list in order of importance:
1. Technique
2 . Shave cream or oil (no foam)
3. Blade
10. Brush and cup (obsolete)
And just when I thought you were skipping the mint jelly....I say, " Lashings of Gravy!".
All the best to you and your family. Thanks for sharing your time with us, on both channels.

Great shave Paul. The link you put in for the shaving soap took me to the razor. :)
Great shave Paul and no midweek shave
Using a Palmolive shave stick, Gillette Super Adjustable, and some Barbasol aftershave. Good looking Scotch bonnet you have there Paul. May it light up your taste buds in a wonderful way. Cheers 👍🏻💈
Nice shave Paul! Ming shi razor is quite good and adjustable. I dont feel it that aggressive, but the performance was good. Nice video!
Nice shave Paul. Thank you.👍
Great video Paul. Thank you. I own many razors now and a large number of Gillette classics but I'm stuck on my Van Der Hagen $10 razor it gives me a great shave every time. 👍💈💈💈
It happens. There are now plenty of brand new budget-priced razors on the market that give a very comfortable shave.
However, I've yet to find a razor, at any price, which can equal my classic Super Speed and Slim adjustable. The Karve does have my attention though.
Great shave as always Paul;) And nice lather!!!
Great video Paul,good Sunday!

Found this Mark, may have to be quick though...lol. bit.ly/2qtFAGZ
I was excited to see this razor but mine came a bit slanted and it didn't cut that well for me. Even on setting 9.
Great shave, Paul
Great shave interesting thoughts on Ming She
Paul. Are there any modern adjustable butterfly razors that have the extra turn, like the gillette adjustable slim?
Great shave and review 👍
Good Morning Paul [ PORTUGAL]
The link you have for the shaving soap is incorrect. Just thought I would let you know.
Nice slick razor!!
Something in side my 3000s unscrewed head pops up 😣 used it 2 or 3 times 😑. Hi to Alum:-)💈🌹👍

That sounds a very good combination, hope you enjoy your first wet shave when you try it :-)

San-ur-ye PICKUP TIME! (a bit of a Chinese/English mash up)
OK going with the cheap razors I see!! Never forget your roots lol
nevertheless nice razor , I use it on level 3 , also very cheap

Settings 7-9 it is a "slant"; settings 1-3 it does NOT cut *for me*
talega1 lol seems lime a rubbish razor
12:30 i like this part
I din't like that razor, never work right for my
0:33 - 0:44 doesnt get anymore genuine than this ...i think some people need to hear that.
Buetyful
Crumble 😊😊
Not a fan of the Ming Shi 3000s, the build quality is very inferior to it's older brother the 2000s.
Craig Simpson I never tried either of them but if I were to get one I’ll get the 2000
I really want a fat boy or a slim adjustable but I just can’t afford it right now so I might just get a 2000 S for now
Craig Simpson ALSO on the 2000s there’s a way to rig it to go higher settings. Look up “Mingshi Hack” on UA-cam you’ll see what I mean
@@mikerose51 You won't be disappointed, The Ming Shi 2000s is an excellent razor. Very cheap from Aliexpress.com
Wow loud feedback and
