I purchased one of these. Great razor. Especially for under $10. I used a Dorco ST-301 and good old Wilkonson shave soap. Think about it. I shaved with a $10 razor, a 10 cent blade, and a $2 soap and I got a million dollar shave. Simply amazing! Great video as always Paul. Say hello to Mrs. H. I particularly liked the opening music. Very tasteful.

@Michael Kevin Millet I have bought at least 10 Ming Shi razors. Both the 2000 adjustable and the 3000 adjustable. I never had any quality issues. Enjoy yours. The 3000s shaves great. I develop DE razors. This one is indeed well-made and at an unbelievable price point.

I have one of those PaulHFilms, over here in Thailand.
Mine was wonky, very wonky, and I had to faff with it a lot to get it near even. Anything under setting 4 is as much use as a chocolate teapot! Other than that, I like mine very much and it was well worth the 220Baht or five and a half quid I paid for it.

I have been wet shaving for approximately 8 months now having stumbled upon your channel and learning the ropes. As you mentioned, let your skin adjust. I am still more than happy just to do a one pass with the growth.

I keep one in the travel bag permanently, good solid great value razor that works pretty well with any blade & soap I've tried so far, normally run it between 4 and 6, definitely prefer to the 2000s which I found too cumbersome and difficult around the moustache area.

Hi Paul- Great shave and razor review; thank you! You seemed to be having a nice, enjoyable shave with the Ming Shi. The Spoiler continues to be a great, all-around blade. Lovely flowers from Mrs H., as always! Regards to your Mom, as well. Sunday dinner sounds wonderful. Scotch Bonnets seeem quite nice. Have a great start to your week and see you on Wednesday for the mid-week shave. All the best!

You mentioned being asked about pick up time. I've been watching your channels since last Christmas. Caught up on many past videos as well. Some misconceptions I had, I've since figured out over time.
I knew pick ups was basically touch ups, but I thought for a little while that the phrase "pick up time, baby" was some reference to a popular culture catch phrase. A movie, a song... or tv show. It didn't take too long to figure out it's a Paul H catch phrase! All yours, your claim to fame😉
The other misconception was the cat singing. This is the funny one. The first time I heard it, you never mentioned it was a cat, I thought he's got happy, young kids playing, screaming and singing in the house. How nice🤪
Nice shave today, Paul. Have a peaceful week.

Happy belated Sunday Paul! Love the Sunflowers...thank you Mrs. H!! Ming Shi Adjustable? I have not had much interest in these razors, but I look forward to your shave with interest. Oh, boy! The Gillette Spoiler blade on its 5th use. I am looking forward to each and every use of this blade. May you get to the 8th or more use. That first pass was awesome, soap, razor, and blade doing a fine job. Strawberry Rhubarb pie is nice. I like mine with some proper vanilla ice cream. The second pass is done and all is well. Very good shave indeed. My last shave: REX Ambassador Adjustable loaded with a Feather Hi-Stainless blade (4th use). LEA mentholated cream lathered with WCS 20mm synthetic brush. 3 pass plus pick-up pass. BBS result. Finish with the PAA CaD aftershave. I love the CaD scent and it does have some staying power. Paul, you did get a very good shave. Thanks for sharing. Looking forward to seeing Wales. Take care.

Paul... Great review and great shave at it. I've just bought the Ming Shi 3000s just because it's hard to find refurbished/repaired Gillette fatboy. I had another another China made butterfly DE safety razor but it seemed to its razor butterfly wings wobble and the screw mechanism started to show some rust. Yikes mate. I have used the ming shi blades but I think I'm gonna switch to Wilkinson swords pretty soon. Thanks and have a great shave.

The "Spoiler" just keeps going and going, nice blades. Sunshine in the bathroom..!😊 Thanks Mrs H. Great video and review as always. Enjoy!
