Drunken Master 2 is one of Jackie Chan's finest work to date. The insane choreography makes each move so different from each other and is aesthetically pleasing to the eye. The energy and emotion he put into this fight was absolutely insane.

Ken Lo, the guy in the grey suit, was Jackie Chan's real life bodyguard.
He's also a legit Tae Kwon Do & Muay Thai Kick boxing champion who competed in various tournaments, before Jackie made him a member of his stunt team.
This fight here took them 4 months to shoot, because both he & Jackie got numerous injuries while filming.
The scene where Jackie gets kicked into the burning coals, was not filmed with special effects.
They actually had Jackie fall on real burning coals for real, wearing special protective clothes and dunked in a special gel to prevent burning.
Amd here's the best part: Jackie didn't like the first take, being a perfectionist and all.
So he did the scene another 4-5 times until it came out right on camera!
Oh and they set the stuntman with the black suit on fire, for real, when Jackie spits the ethanol on him.
( He was also wearing protective clothes/ gel.)

I also love how throughout the movie
Jackie uses props and the environment against his opponents.
In the final fight however. Once he gives himself completely over to whatever he drunk.
He literally plows through whatever they throw at him. Love that detail.

Drunken Master 2 was my childhood. I looove this movie. Damn near a perfect king fu movie. I love how active Jackie character gets after drinking the gasoline, its not only a strength booster, but hes bringing back all the playful moves and making them more brutal. The choreography was the best mix of old school kung fu and fighting so every move feels organic and necessary. My only thing was, the villains were diplomats, and business men, but also had time to taekwondo and boxing experts??? Like where do you get all the time to be all these things AND be evil??

Roger Ebert: "Jackie Chan's "The Legend of Drunken Master" is quite simply amazing. It involves some of the most intricate, difficult and joyfully executed action sequences I have ever seen. If you have any interest in seeing a Jackie Chan martial arts film, then this is the one to see...
When I did a seminar at the Hawaii Film Festival several years ago, comparing the physical comedy of Chan and Buster Keaton, martial arts fans brought in their bootleg Hong Kong laser discs of this film and told me that I had to see the final 20-minute fight sequence. They were correct. Coming at the end of a film filled with jaw-dropping action scenes, this extended virtuoso effort sets some kind of benchmark: It may not be possible to film a better fight scene."

The dude is actually Jackie’s own personal bodyguard at the time. In the original script of the film, the European actor was suppose to be the main villain, but he backed out or got injured. So this fight was replaced. The original fight wasn’t suppose to be this long.

This endfight in Drunken Master 2 and fight choreographies from Police Story 3 were used as basis concept for the fighting style of Lei Wulong (Jackie Chan) and Ling Xiaoyu (Michelle Yeoh) for the videogame Tekken 2 & 3.

I was gonna say that this fight is like the closest thing we have to an IRL anime fight, but actually it's movies like this that directly inspired anime and manga in the first place. Toriyama was largely inspired by Hong Kong movies and Jackie Chan for example.

Jackie Chan is a once in a lifetime martial artist that also had comedic acting chops as well! He is a legend! I love this movie and all his other ones! The only one who topped him is Bruce Lee in the legendary martial arts wise!
