Origin Live Resolution Vs Dr. Feickert Woodpecker - Turntable Review / Shootout - Which One Is Best?

Here we review the Origin Live Resolution MK IV with Origin Live Illustrious MK3C tonearm, against the Dr. Feickert Woodpecker with Kuzma Stogi S 12VTA tonearm - two great high-end turntables reviewed, one from the UK, one from Germany, which one will prevail?
We purchased both turntables and used a variety of audiophile gear to help us form an opinion, including the Manley Steelhead phono stage, Zesto Andros 1.2 phono stage, and cartridges from Benz (Benz LP-S), Soundsmith (Zephyr MIMC), and ZYX (ZYX Ultimate 100).
These are quite different sounding turntables, with one having more weight, authority, and macro dynamics, and the other more air, detail, and micro dynamics.
But which would we live with long term?

Did you sell that OL table a couple of years ago, or you still have it?

I bought that exact OL table & tonearm. It sounded great but both the turntable & tonearm were so unreliable. The tonearm rest came loose, the inner cable lost connection somewhere, the speed controller was temperamental, sometimes it worked, sometimes not. The whole motor assembly was replaced, the drive belt had to be constantly cleaned otherwise wow was common. I sold it after 12 months and bought an SME.

That's interesting and good feedback for those watching the vid. I didn't have any issues with the table/arm other than managing to pull the connector off the power supply, which was my fault if I remember. I've never owned an SME but like their designs - maybe one day.
