@@yungmil3708 start of the season. Schools cup doesn’t even start til February so it’s basically pre season still and I’m not even sure how good blackrock are this year cos the majority of their 2022 team might have graduated

Michaels aren’t the best, they’ve 8 Senior Cups, Blackrock have 69, Blackrock are also the school of Brian o Driscoll, Garry Ringrose, Caelan Doris, Andrew Conway, Joey Carberry, etc..
Its a tournament by invitation and not merit, so I don't like it. Surely the champions of the big countries should be invited. We don't even have a national championship in Ireland.

St Michael's were not remotely the best irish side. They didn't even make the final in ireland that year. Blackrock streets ahead but didn't attend this invitational tournament
