Nice result for WBHS taking out this invitational competition against a range of different schools. Well done to St Michael's and all of the other schools who were invited to attend and participated also.
Players not being available, money to be to go, other thing going on. Just decide they didn’t wanna go this year I guess. This is why this competition can never rlly be a world schools cup bc they never have the best schools
@willcatt9575 shame, these kind of tournaments deserve better competition. Perhaps even qualifiers in each country to make sure it's only the best of the best. Plus I have no idea why these tournaments are in Thailand. Put them in a rugby playing nation. And can someone tell me why there are no French schools??
It was their under 16s and 17s bro go watch all the previous world festivals where grey send their proper team , they them hammered everyone they played against
@@cephasvanbiljon8386 All teams last year make up majority of under 17's. Also NZ under 19's toured South Africa last year to challenge equal age group representative teams from the Stormers, Sharks, Lions and Leopards. NZ demolished all of them. Grey are good, and have beaten lower ranked NZ schools, but I'm not sure they'll hammer NZ's top rugby schools. I'd actually like to see Grey, Parl, Roos etc Tour NZ and challenge NZ's top schools. That would be exciting.
Haka overkill for years now, as a kiwi thats played rugby in australia and Europe for 5 seasons it is overdone. Finals events are fine but nw every sport every event or game ...diminishes the respect it deserves
Congratulations to Westlake Boys, a good win. St Michael's were a typical british rugby team, boring , lumbering and without flair. Playing with flair does not seem to be allowed in british rugby circles.

Looks like they messed up the video upload
My first thought as well
Came back to check if they’d fixed this…
Congrats Westlake Boys from a former 1973 student.
My Grandson isn't in the first XV but is a current year 12 student..

Great win WBHS. Loved your tries. Congrats.
Any chance we can get a 4K version of this video? I’m trying to watch it on a 77” TV and it looks horrendous!
Greys got a beating last year for those who keep asking.
Congrats WBHS! Well done STM forward pack
Really, only 360hp guys?
What a game Westlake were just to strong in the end.
Did the Thailand highschool get knocked out early?
Nice work Whangarei Boys HS
Why was there no King's or Grey College?

Anyone know if Westlake 12 is deaf?
Its pretty cool if he is, not common to have a deaf kid play rugby at this level
Nah just copying the nfl celebrations
@@jarlonlesatele3757 this you? Lol solid run either way. Grats on the win

Where was greys college?
They got beaten up last year in a tournament by an NZ team.

If that's the final, then St Michael's are rubbish
That makes no sense
@MaxWaster I mean St Michael's look pretty average. So is that the quality of game play you get for a grand final?
