Every single bolt over torqued! Can't go back over them 2 or 3 times like that they are now all over 6nm by the 3 passes more like 8 to 10nm NEVER go back over torqued up bolts, It doesn't work like that! One pass is correct and set to torque spec Trust me on this! I done this before myself thinking it can't be tight enough or one for luck etc till that one extra turn clamped my carbon bars and crushed them next day on trail! Anyone will tell you any bike mechanic never ever do a second pass!
Grease on threads for accurate torque specs? You have to be kidding.... 🤦♂️ No... that's recipe for that steel bolt to rip those aluminum threads out. Then having to answer a lot of phone calls from angry people "i followed the youtube how to video yall put out there and then the thing just broked!"
Yes absolutely, just like your cranks come pre greased, cassettes, and thru axles. Same goes for vehicles. Friction will give an inaccurate reading. And no, I don't get those calls.
In the video is that stem 42mm ?
Looks like a fine product for those who like to switch between dual crowns and single crowns! Or am i missing something?
didnot hear well your name , are you Collin ?
yes!
Go back over them one more time just so i know their over torqued now!
