When you say, "spike near the station area", if you're referencing something similar to Ice Breakers Spike placement, then yes. Not only do I see it as a possibility, but highly likely. It will be part of the swing launch. If this ends up being a much taller, longer, and faster version of Ice Breaker while using the mountain for the post swing section, it is going to be Insane!
Do you think its possible that after the station there could be a vertical lift hill? Then you crest the top and drop down into the center of the mountain?
Just a thought on the potential fire and ice teasing......what if this ride had a switch track that makes it go from summer mode(fire) where it runs a large layout and (ice) winter layout which runs for Winterfest where the layout is primarily inside the mountain with a few pop outside sections
I was already ultra disappointed about premier. Wont even care about the ride anymore if it has a spike. I hate gimmicks, and a spike is the ultimate gimmick. Just give me a fast enjoyable ride like maverick
A swing launch would be kind of cool for Wonderland. I would prefer taller coaster then to have spike though but to me spike would be pretty amazing though.
I don’t think there will be a spike. You would have to come back low to the ground which completely blocks the walking path. The spike would have to go vertical immediately out of the tunnel. Just don’t see that happening.
Yes just look at Tigris at Bush Gardens Tampa for how it may start the ride with a spike! That is a very high thrill ride! Icebreaker is more of a a family ride with the switch track to move the train to the ride track.
Very possible. Still intrigued by the #8 being so predominantly used in teasers. I'm wondering if the showcase piece of this thing will be some sort of figure 8 inversion at extream sky flyer. Something like a non inverting loop stacked with a vertical loop
One explanation: Every year on August 8th, a cosmic phenomenon known as the 8:8 Portal or Lions Gate Portal occurs, creating an energetic gateway that offers powerful opportunities for spiritual growth and manifestation
Will the indoors (inside mountain) part be lit or will it be fully dark? Hope it will be fully dark with a couple of inversions indoors. Going through inversions in the darkness would be insane.
The fire and ice could be a hidden meaning, perhaps dueling coaster? The hints on the top of the mountain where there could be two possible exits. The 8/8 tease, two 8s two coasters.
If this new ride has a spike then maybe this ride could have the most launches of any coasters in the world??? Cause the 8/8 could mean 8 launches and 8 inversions??? Idk Having 4 launches on 1 launches section would be an easier way of gaining the record then 8 traditional launch/ booster sections Just a theory Ye
Just curious.................Are you planning on doing a video correcting a older statement for 2025 season passes??? Ceder fair has been posting quite a bit about this last couple of days. (I.E Cedar Point has announced the All-Park Passport which will grant access to all Legacy Cedar Fair parks for the rest of 2024 and Legacy Six Flags Parks beginning January 6, 2025. )
My concern with a Spike is ride capacity....if the trains are running back thru the station a dual track or switch would be required increasing maintenance and breakdown risk, also it would limit train dispatch options with fewer launches possible than simply sending a train off on its way.
Ice breaker has the slide track and doesn't seem to have that many problems with the switch track it just basically moves the train to a track right next to the station
@jasoncolliver3648 you are no engineer. And to gauge the finality of a construction project before it is barely started is just laughable. Also, what do you think a teaser with TWO elements, water/ice & Fire, and 8/8 indicates? It indicates a duality pretty clearly. My guess stands at a dueling coaster with 8 inversions each. Could also be one track with 2 different themes throughout? But, considering premiere is who makes dueling coasters, and the teasr campaign? I'll stick with my pick. We will see.
@jasoncolliver3648 their latest teaser "When elements combine, a power awakens. Discover the mountain that inspires legends, the village that reveres the elements and the force that refuses to be contained. A new adventure is coming to Canada’s Wonderland. Learn more on Aug. 8."
Bat spikes aren’t what I would necessarily consider spikes. Chains lifting up both which doesn’t give the same weightless effect. If anything you could call them beginner spikes?
I’m pretty sure that they will call the coaster ice breaker, but I’m not sure about they will call that because there’s to symbols on both sides of wonder mountain.
Looking through the comments I am glad I am not the only one who doesn't want a spike.... it's bad enough our manufacturer is Premier.. . Having a spike would be just rubbing salt in the wound
@@unseeninja have you tried taking Gravol because I also can vomit on rides(especially ones that spin)and I take it whenever I go on rides and nothing happens to me
knowing premier, i would put money on a swing launch

Great update....spikes seem to be the "thing" to do this year.
Even that family coaster at Kings Island has a spike like cliffhanger end
Every Family Boomerang has a spike.
I can’t wait for the announcement from canadas wonderland

I don’t mind a spike as long as it’s somewhat tall. Ice breaker spike is a joke, you literally go up 40-50 feet

When will you be doing an update for Canada's wonderland tonight or tomorrow
Would the spike make it a triple launch? Wasn't one of the early predictions a triple launch?
A spike would be amazing!
My gosh, imagine there actually being a spike.
I think they would have a spike and a turntable. That would increase capacity for sure

It's simple is the footers in a triangle form..if they are..then it's for a spike...👌👌

I've said it before and I'll say it again..THIS IS GOING TO BE ONE SICK COASTER!!!! ❤❤❤❤
A SPIKE

i hope they arn't thinking of replacing the bat!

Excuse me WHAAAAAAAAAT
Going in and out of the mountain for a spike would be really cheesy. Why not just put in a stronger launch for the "fire" coaster?

Im taking it with a block of salt there will be no spike
