- IMPORTANT: Do not use real genuine silk it will burn. I later learned that this is a quality synthetic polyester fabric not real silk as it is marked.
Silk is a beautiful fabric. You will learn how to make a lovely petal silk fabric with Alaliz technique. This technique is easy and will benefit every age group Children to adults. These can be used for bouquets or corsages. Use them for your favorite projects. I learned from one of my helpful subscribers that this is a synthetic silk. Real silk does not melt in the same fashion.

I've just begun my journey into crafting flowers out of ribbon and fabric, so I've watched dozens of tutorials in the past couple of weeks. Yours is hands down the best I've seen so far. You use items readily available and your instructions are very clear. And no cheesy background music is such a plus! I am confident I can do this flower with ease, thank you!!

Your welcome. On my channel I experiment with different fabrics. Flower Tutorials by Crafty Devotion: ua-cam.com/play/PLRoKeqtenfZsaYCeDYJUNY1UZ2ESdESfz.html
I had polio at 9 months of age and not able to use legs, so your demonstration making the flower without a sewing machine really helps me. Thank you, Susan
I am so glad to help. Happy Crafting 😊
I luv this method I normally do the circle method
+Karin Moss. If I make a layer flower the circle goes on the bottom and this on top.
So awesome
Thank you for your inspiration.
I am an avid crafter, I'm 71 and always learning to create "ANOTHER BEAUTIFUL THING" by Ruby. in the 80's I was finishing an afghan I put it away and dug out some fabric, embroidery thread, or more yarn at which time my "X' husband ask me, "what are you going to make this time?, my reply was, "I don't know, just ANOTHER BEAUTIFUL THING. And it stuck.
I've have been so uninspired and this video found me!. It's after 10 p.m. here and instead of 'winding down'. but now all I can think about is fabrics, ribbons and tea light candles. LOL, I just bought 100 tea light today!!!
I made a video of "rolling roses," using white bread w/the crust removed, and tear it into pieces and add Tacky Glue, and the technique for rolling them, you roll one petal at a time, they are lovely and you can make them any acrylic paint colors, No baking, they air dry and last forever they never break, and I also teach how to make the leaves.
It's all on video CD,, my goal is to learn how to get it on here.
These fabric flowers, and my bread roses, and beautiful feathers are going to gorgeous!
I'm soo inspired, thank you Liz

commentary. Sorry for late reply. I read your comment endearingly the day you commented and got interrupted. I am so glad you have been inspired. I know that UA-cam is where I can find tons of inspiration. I have heard of the bread clay before. Although only 3 year crafter I am in my late 50's. Luckily I enjoy learning and have battled this technology age. Please let me know if you ever upload those tutorials so l can support you.
Love this method. Very clever with the hairpin!

Hi Liz, every now and then I come back to watch another video of yours. You explain like an expert and I love your work!🤗👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Thank you for your kindness. It makes me think I need to get another tutorial out there. I have the miniature hats on my list next.
I'm going to start making flowers, so I've been looking at different videos. I love the simplicity of your method and video. I really like the fact that you don't have any background music on!
I glad you like my teaching. I did add soft background music later. I enjoy classical. I think only one got by too loud. Have fun crafting.
Wow these are gorgeous ❤ that fabric is perfect for them too. Can't wait to make some with my great niece! 🤗 thank you.
You're welcome, Note that when I first made this tutorial, I didn't know it was a synthetic silk. 100 percent silk will burn.
@@CraftyDevotion thanks for the warning!
The easiest way I like it and the idea to buy a second hand dress is great
Frugal crafting is in the blood.
