This game genuinely makes me sad. There's pieces of a good game here. Good graphics (other than the cutscene animation), great soundtrack, solid level design, etc. A whole shitload of missed potential. The only thing that destroyed it were horrendously strict deadlines and a terrible work environment. If the developers were granted proper time to polish the game, it likely would have been a decent title; maybe not as good as the originals, but still good. Basically this game is the perfect example of what happens when game developers are put under ridiculous time constraints. I think it should get remade from the ground up - like Spyro Reignited - and given the proper polish it deserves. It needs remake fixes far more than the original trilogy did.

One thing that's not in the speedway levels is the red Power dot star that gives Spyro a advantage in the races where you can attack other racers to get to first place a lot quicker
There are red stars, but they only appear after you lose the race once.
@@TheMoonRover Well that's awesome now in Spyro 3 year of the dragon they appear when you start the race but you're gameplay in this game was pretty impressive I could never 100 percent this game I can 100 percent other Spyro games except this one
They should make a game when all 3 of his past enemies come together and gang up on Spyro 🔥
I wanna cry this game is my childhood
The thing that I don’t get about this game is that I thought that Ripto died and crush and gulp couldn’t talk.
awesome video! THank you!
First ps2 games as a kid!!
0:04 I laugh at this part when I was a kid lol 😂
very good game remember this was one of my faves !
20:20, now i know im not the ONLY one who loves that lil guys voice! BuZz bUzZ bUuz bUuz
Everyone hates it but it looks ok
I remembered this game as a kid.
How did I never recognize the dragons names! Miyagi, Bruce, Jackie! Very fitting for Enter the DRAGONfly!😂
Still remember playing this on Christmas day. Was also the same day I got Dual Masters for GBA. Good, good memories :')
As a kid I had played the first Spyro on ps1 and remember it fondly when I got a little older I had my own PS2 I was maybe 12-13 years old and I remember my mom got me or well " the Easter bunny " got me enter the dragonfly for Easter it was in my Easter basket lol. But I had always thought this was the coolest Spyro, the fact you could change your breath from electric to fire to bubbles ECT and the level design was super distinguished between an island paradise " best level music ever " or the cow fields with UFOs. People always shit on this game but as a kid I thought it was awesome. I did hate chasing dragonfly's with bubbles though.. shit pissed me off!
I think it's funny they got a lot of great VAs to play characters in the Spyro games, like Billy West, Tom Kenny, and Rob Paulsen
So much nostalgia, This game was next to another computer game called Digimon which I also grew up with Wayback when
This is the first game I ever played haha nostalgia!!!
this was the first spyro game I played as a child.
my favourite area was luau island, but I don't know if I have much to go on as I never made it past cloud city since it took too long to load or starting bugging out. I always just presumed it was broken, but now I've read it's notorious for super long loading times and bugs.
would love to see it remastered!!!
