Okay, there are many videos of video card testing on games and stuff but none of them are as detailed as this video was. Truly, thank you very much for your effort. They were worth it for someone like me.
There's two possibilities why you watch this video. 1. You are thinking of getting an RTX 3060 2. You already have a RTX 3060 but can't decide if you should get an 1080p or 1440p monitor It's the second one for me also me thinking 30fps for Cyberpunk with RTX Ultra is totally fine probably makes me a very obvious ps4 player. (: Since that one is locked to 30fps.

@@ladislaugabor2985 That really depends. If you're into competitive games ok, get a 144 or a 240hz one. But if you're into AAA games you won't ever reach those frames. Plus why in the hell would I want to reach such high frames in regular gaming? What fits to you won't fit to everybody else.

Finally, after spending 5 years with a 2400g APU I managed to nab this card + a B550 ROG Strix mobo. My r5 5600 should be coming in on Monday. 😁 I'm fully aware running games in ultra is dumb and totally unnecessary but it's great knowing just what this monster is capable of.

fun fact: valhalla and odyssey running the same on 1440p ultra. I'm so sad one of my favorite game series of all time is always shitty optimized. assassin's creed games were always hard to run with good frame rate for their time, no matter pc or console.
The rtx 3060 for just streaming at 1080p at max is the best. Your viewers will be amazed by the quality. No reason to pay more for a better gpu if you want to just stream.
Really? I just purchased and installed this card into my PC last night, and all I really do is game at 1080p for the most part. And I don't stream at all. Was me purchasing this card a little bit of an overkill? Or am I good? I mostly play World of Warcraft and a couple of other games, but that's really it.
I snagged a used RTX 3060 for 270 bucks like s month ago. It plays everything at 1080p ultra, even cyberpunk 2077 without RT and handles VR pretty well too. This or the 3060ti are the best bang for your buck GPUs you can get right now. God bless.
My 2070 Super died on me about a month ago and I've been so ready to play again, finally got the money to buy another graphics card and just bought one of these for $950. Steep price but I'm desperate so I pulled the trigger and bought it, I'm pairing it with my Ryzen 7 3700x
personally i bought this card gigabyte rtx 3060 vision oc this year, and i have no regrets. for its condition and technology update will appear soon... boosting performance better than 2080ti etc.. but yeah i am happy that i get this at 550€ brand new from official shop here. tbh 3060 ti is way more expensive than 550 €
i dont play at 1440p instead i play at 1080p because i used 24.5" 165hz Asus monitor, i get constant 110fps+ ultra/high settings in games like Red Redemption, Tomb raider and 150++ for fps games like Csgo,Fortnite or COD Warzone.. all in high above settings And my specs as listed below Intel i7-10700k base clock 16Gb 3600mhz Vengence pro CL18 Mobo Gigabyte Vision z490 Graphic Gigabyte RTX3060 Vision Oc oh and streaming will only lose few fps like 10+ or below.. its typical if you turn stream even in any high end card
So i bought a prebuilt with this gpu thinking it would be able to game at 1440p but i didn’t know it’s a 1080 oriented gpu. I’m wondering if i should trade it for a 2070 or 2080 super so i can game at 1440p with like 15 more frames, is it worth it?
Bit late, but the performance gap between 2070 and 3060 is not that great. If you can get a 2080 super for trading this in, then yeah, I'd say it's worth it.
You can literally just watch a benchmark comparison video on UA-cam. The 3060 is more powerful than the 2070. And the fps difference of 2080 super and 3060 is not that big.
nah the 10600k is a beast for the money. i use it with my 3070 and it performs great! I would make sure you get fast ram and a decent motherboard though, because thats how you take advantage of its full potential. Gamers Nexus has a good video about the 10600k that you should watch if you are interested.

I just bought a 3060 with a Ryzen 7 3800X, I know its a bit overkill on the processor but im using it for simulation work as well. Will this boost the cards fps or is it using its full potential with the processor used in the video?

@@pvlshka well, your CPU was too limited, difference between 3600 and 3800x is just two more cores and a little bit higher frequencies, same arch, same per core performance.
Id be happy with anything that gets 60+fps on 1080 maxed.... Be interest to see what performance this card gets pushing triple-screens @ 5760x1080 (P.s. I Really really hope I don't regret picking one up,still awaiting delivery ) ....I have triple 24'' 1920 x 1080's @60hz currently,but would like to go with 27" or even 32" 144hz for a taller "view window" into the sim giving more emergence.. Yes, I agree. Even though the games were all running on ultra settings, the performance was nothing to write home about. Unfortunately right now if you want better performance you need to spend much more and get an rtx 3070 and maybe a better cpu.

Is that normal or nah?
That's a classic case of a CPU bottleneck. Your CPU is too weak for the graphic card you own, which reduces the FPS drastically. You need a 3600/3600x or i5 10th Gen+ CPU.

I snagged a used RTX 3060 for 270 bucks like s month ago. It plays everything at 1080p ultra, even cyberpunk 2077 without RT and handles VR pretty well too. This or the 3060ti are the best bang for your buck GPUs you can get right now.

this card is pretty good, it can easily play GTA5 in ultra settings, 4K, at a solid 60fps, rockstar did a good job.

personally i bought this card gigabyte rtx 3060 vision oc this year, and i have no regrets. for its condition and technology update will appear soon... boosting performance better than 2080ti etc.. but yeah i am happy that i get this at 550€ brand new from official shop here. tbh 3060 ti is way more expensive than 550 €

i dont play at 1440p instead i play at 1080p because i used 24.5" 165hz Asus monitor, i get constant 110fps+ ultra/high settings in games like Red Redemption, Tomb raider and 150++ for fps games like Csgo,Fortnite or COD Warzone.. all in high above settings

oh and streaming will only lose few fps like 10+ or below.. its typical if you turn stream even in any high end card

So i bought a prebuilt with this gpu thinking it would be able to game at 1440p but i didn’t know it’s a 1080 oriented gpu. I’m wondering if i should trade it for a 2070 or 2080 super so i can game at 1440p with like 15 more frames, is it worth it?
Bit late, but the performance gap between 2070 and 3060 is not that great. If you can get a 2080 super for trading this in, then yeah, I'd say it's worth it.
Its able to game at 1440p? Its literally a 1440p 60+FPS card.
You can literally just watch a benchmark comparison video on UA-cam. The 3060 is more powerful than the 2070. And the fps difference of 2080 super and 3060 is not that big.

Thinking about getting a 3060 with a i5 10600k would they perform well with each other or should I get a different gpu/cpu
nah the 10600k is a beast for the money. i use it with my 3070 and it performs great! I would make sure you get fast ram and a decent motherboard though, because thats how you take advantage of its full potential. Gamers Nexus has a good video about the 10600k that you should watch if you are interested.

I just bought a 3060 with a Ryzen 7 3800X, I know its a bit overkill on the processor but im using it for simulation work as well. Will this boost the cards fps or is it using its full potential with the processor used in the video?
Yes little bit you get more performance like 3-4 fps

@@pvlshka well, your CPU was too limited, difference between 3600 and 3800x is just two more cores and a little bit higher frequencies, same arch, same per core performance.

Id be happy with anything that gets 60+fps on 1080 maxed.... Be interest to see what performance this card gets pushing triple-screens @ 5760x1080 (P.s. I Really really hope I don't regret picking one up,still awaiting delivery ) ....I have triple 24'' 1920 x 1080's @60hz currently,but would like to go with 27" or even 32" 144hz for a taller "view window" into the sim giving more emergence.. (Not really that interested in 4k,FYI I'm not that rich lolz)

How was the temp and noise on the graphics card when you tested it?
Its not lousy on stock and the temp is not even hot on most game I have the same spec as this guy
You can read the temp in the video. And for the noise, it's not the same for everyone, you just have to test it out for yourself.

Yes, I agree. Even though the games were all running on ultra settings, the performance was nothing to write home about. Unfortunately right now if you want better performance you need to spend much more and get an rtx 3070 and maybe a better cpu.

Most desktop hardware is rated to safely go up to about 90, gaming laptops can usually reach about 100

Hello i need help tho i just got my GPU (RTX 3060 msi ventus) but i realize my fps and performance wise are pretty low i downloaded warzone on my new SSD and the fps is still really low my CPU is Ryzen 5 3400g, as soon as i check my nvidia overlay my CPU usage has more percentage than my GPU? Is that normal or nah?
That's a classic case of a CPU bottleneck. Your CPU is too weak for the graphic card you own, which reduces the FPS drastically.
You need a 3600/3600x or i5 10th Gen+ CPU.
Them: mid range gpu and mid range cpu
