My daughter will be 18 months old in about a week and my husband and I still have that "this is really OUR kid" moment. Its so amazing. I am so glad you're getting to experience this awesome feeling.

Both of my babies spit up nonstop until they were 11 months old. As long as they aren't in pain it's totally normal. Congrats you guys, she is perfection!

There are always so many emotions when you bring baby home for the first time. It can be really overwhelming, but so incredibly amazing! I'm so happy and excited for you all. There are so many wonderful experiences and joys to come with Ms Gaines! She is truly a beauty! Watching the vlogs from the last five days has been awesome and brought back so many wonderful memories of my baby girl's arrival. You guys are already such great parents, I cannot wait to see what's to come. Don't worry about her spitting up too much, she'll be doing that for quite awhile, and it's completely normal since her digestive system is not yet fully developed. I suggest a lot of spit-up cloths around the house, lol. Cullen I just loved the look on your face when you were working and you had you little precious daughter next to you. You didn't have to say any words you could see the joy on your face.
My hubby and I were cracking up over Cullen's poopy diaper reaction. Lol! You'll get there Cullen. Just keep trying! You two give us so much hope. We have experienced the stillbirth of our son at 22 weeks, and 3 back-to-back miscarriages. We are now TTC our take home baby through IVF to help us reduce our miscarriage risk. Seeing sweet Macey Gaines makes me realize that there can be beauty from pain. Thank you for allowing us into your life, and sharing your journey.
Sorry for your loses. Try taking prenatal viteams for three months before concieving it will help alot☺ And continue taking em after you conceive. Wishing you thr best of luck!
Deanna J Yes, prenatals are very important. I have been taking prenatals non-stop for 4 years. :) I also take 3mg of folic acid per day as suggested by my high risk OB. I'm good to go on my vitamins. :) Always a helpful reminder though. So, thanks. :)
Strength Beyond The Storm There is always hope! I thought I couldn't get pregnant...because me and my husband tried and tried and tried and the pregnacy tests always came back negative and it always depressed me. So I gave up....until one day I started pray deeply to God each and every day askung him WHY.... Why cant I get pregnant and have a child because I so longed to be a mommy. I love kids! So I continued and to pray to God and in the meantime I kept taking prenatal viteams and I also downloaded a app on my phone called my days I believe that is what it was called to track your monthly and to see when your the most fertile and guess what when I least expect it I got pregnant without knowing for a month and ahalf. God is good☺ Im not a holy roller and Im not able to go to church cause I work on Sundays but I do pray to him a lot and he really does answer prayers when he is ready to:) My daughter just turned a year old on the fourteenth of this month. And I thank God each and everyday for her☺☺ God blessed me and God will bless you too!!!!!!☺☺☺ It just takes time hang n there. And remember dont stress and think positive 😉😉😉 I hope I helped you alittle ☺☺ Good luck!!!!!!!!
Deanna J Thanks. I have actually not given up. In fact, my husband and I worked with a fertility doctor to address some medical reasons as to why I was miscarrying. I had a uterine septum like Missy Lanning on the Daily Bumps. I had surgery this summer to remove the septum. We didn't have problems getting pregnant, but actually the problem was staying pregnant. Not having a septum anymore helps a ton. However, we took one additional step. We made the decision to do IVF and used genetic testing on each of our embryos to reduce our miscarriage risk even further. Only those embryos that test genetically viable (right number and type of chromosomes) will be used in my embryo transfer. We actually ended up with 3 viable embryos, and they are frozen safely for our usage. :) We are overjoyed to have 3 healthy babies just waiting on us. I am getting ready to transfer one of the embryos (a little girl) back in about 2 weeks. I do believe God has strengthened me, and placed amazing doctors in my life to help us achieve our goal of a take home baby very soon (hopefully in just 2 short weeks now).
Y'all's vlogs are the only thing keeping me happy and sane right now. So much college stress I just can't handle. Watching you reminds me that there is more to life then stressing over something small.

After 6 years of infertility and a round of IVF we finally brought our little girl home 10 weeks ago today. I watched the birth vlog on my first day back at work (not recommended) and cried tears of joy for your family. There are still moments where she does something or we take her somewhere and I ask myself, "is this my life now?" So happy for you all! Enjoy every second! Katie you are doing amazing!

My sister Inlaw lost her first baby boy at 31 weeks. So our family understand the heart ache. God has a funny way of getting us through those terrible moments, and we always end up stronger.
