New Subscriber here from Newfoundland, awesome shot Amanda made on that bull it was a nice animal , was patience waiting for that big boy to come in for a close shot , had a similar situation few years ago , came in from about 3/4 of a mile from where we saw him coming to the call. All great animals to bad the weather didn't cooperate

Nice, I'm headed there in October on a quest for redemption after I botched my vermont hunt last year.

I went to Roberts outfitters in 2021 at the 4 ponds camp. I was not able to fill a tag as a hurricane kept the moose pretty low key all week. I will be back in 2025 to REX lake and this video is making it hard to wait. Awesome video.

Our hunt was definitely impacted my poor weather condition poor weather conditions, and it sounds like yours certainly was as well. The Rex Lake hunt was definitely a good experience. Good luck on your hunt!

I live in Maine to Newfoundland in the fall to hunt caribou. Any problems with bringing guns in or meat across the border ? Thanks great video

We didn't have any problems, but we were prepared. We downloaded the paperwork needed to bring our firearms into Canada and filled it out at home well before our trip. Once at the border we declared our rifles, and they inspected them and our paperwork, and we paid the fee. I believe our outfitter sent us the required paperwork, but you should look into the current requirements before making the trip. There may be more to it now as they are on their way to a dictatorship. To bring your firearms back into the States you needed to have paperwork that showed they were yours before going abroad. We stopped at US Customs office on our side of the border before crossing and got the paperwork we needed. This could take several minutes or several hours, so give yourself time. As for the meat, we had our tags and paperwork and I don't recall any type of inspection. I've never had any problem bringing meat back on 3 hunting trips over the years. This moose hunt was my most recent trip and it's hard to say what they are doing these days.

Her shot was around 300 yards, the bull went about 100 yards after being hit.
